INSTALLATION AND UNINSTALL PROB!!! HELP PLS!!!

hi guys i'm currently new to mac and really need help!
I would like to install Windows XP on my mac. Many people advised me to install it through Vmware Fusion instead of using Boot Camp. Is it better to install through vmware?
If it is better, don't you still need to make windows partition through boot camp so that vmware can run from it?
also, if i wanna uninstall windows xp from my mac...
could someone provide me with a step-by-step guide on how to install and uninstall windows xp from my mac through vmware fusion please?

If you install Windows through Boot Camp, you'll have to restart your computer in order to use Windows. If you install Windows using VMFusion, you do not need to restart the computer.
Also, you do not need to partition the hard drive if you use VMFusion. VMFusion will store the Windows installation in a large file on your hard drive.

It's not an Apple issue and Apple has nothing to do with it.
The only way to buy an iPhone officially refurbished by Apple is to buy it from an Apple store or via Apple's website.
Refurbished iPhones sold via other retailers are not refurbished by Apple.
Sounds like Wireless Wave did all they could... they refunded your money.
Your only issue is with them. Stop getting all worked up over it.

C disk space is still taken up after canceling VS2013 installation and uninstall

I tried to install the VS 2013 community by using the web installer, and then realized that the speed of my connection was not fast enough, so I cancelled the installation and wanted to download the ISO later. But after cancelling the installation, the C
disk was still taken up(before installation there was 9GB+ free, after cancelling the installation it was 1GB+).
I went to the "program and features", saw that there was a 7GB VS, so I uninstall it again using the "change" entry. However the C disk was still taken up. After rebooting the machine, it still is. So
now I cannot even install with the ISO image since there is no longer enough space now.
How can I correctly clean up the last incomplete install?

START > CONTROL PANEL > PROGRAMS N FEATURES > highlight QUICKTIME and click CHANGE then REPAIR.

Ipod camera black screen when opened and sync prob HELP!!!

hello i just went to open the camera on my ipod touch 4g and it just went black just a black screen when i press the home button it goes straight to the home screen everything else is fine i just open the camera and a black screen appears, it is working fine now but just wondering if it is faulty or somthing.
some times it does not sync i will plug it into the computes usb port and it wont charge i takes about 3 to 6 tries to get it to work any help thanks

Same thing just happened to me, found another solution though.
Plug the USB cable into your PC/base of iPod Touch.
Turn off the iPod completely.
Wait 10 seconds and re-power the iPod.
Now load up the camera; and the screen should be back to normal.
I have similar screen freeze issue with my Sony Erricson K700i Mobile phone, and plugging in the 'power' cable always resolves it, so it would seem to be of the same method used to resolve this iPod issue!!
Strange thing as you've posted, all other apps etc still work. Maybe support will get around to resolving this bug!!

Needed to reinstall Itunes. It started installation and uninstalled it automatically.

In 2010 I had an issue with my iphone 3 and I got recommended to uninstall the itunes SW and reload the newer version. I uninstalled the itunes SW and loaded the newer itunes version. Unfortunately I could never execute it. It started the execution but then uninstalled it automatically. I thought I had a virus on my computer. I had it checked and could never have itunes re-installed on my computer with my email address. I missed itunes a lot because of the songs I bought and the synchronization with the Iphone. Now I have bought a new HP Envy i7. I downloaded the itunes SW yesterday on the new laptop and I tried to execute it. It started well but then again it unistalled it automatically. I don't know what to do to have my itunes and synchronization with Iphone 3 back. It is a brand new HP. What do I need to do? I really need advice. Thank you.

It would help us if we knew what you do with the computer.
I like your choice of PSU's. Corsair makes a great product. You should measure the current PSU and compare the measurements to this one.
The specs on the video card don't give the dimensions. I suggest staying under 9" in length. This will help to assure that it will fit without problems. I like PNY, but they are more for everyday type projects; surfing, word processing, etc. If you want to game, I would suggest XFX, BFG, EVGA or Sapphire.

FIRST charge with an Apple charger for at least 15 minutes. Then hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons at the same time until an Apple logo appears. Hold for up to 30 seconds. If nothing happens the phone hardware has failed.

Without going through it in detail the problem may be that you're doing the repaint which you hope will draw the image before the image has completed loading.
Create your ImageIcon (loading the "xxxx.jpeg" files) during program initialisation. And check the load status of the icon, at least in a test version.

I still cant get the reqd output. Only the 1st image is dispayed and when i click the second code, the 2nd image doesnt come(the first one does not disappear, and even when i click the code 1 i have to minimize/ maximize the screen, to get the image and after that it does not go for the s2nd image 2 come!! )

Deleting contacts and calenders..help, pls!

I'm trying to delete the transfer of my calenders and contacts. I went into pref. and unchecked the appropriate boxes..but all the info. is still there. I want to delete to make more room. How do I do this???? Thanks for the feedback.

The easiest way to delete the calendars on your nano is to click on the nano icon in the finder and put the 'Calendars' folder into the trash. (Then, empty the trash, of course .

My new transitions are choppy and they freeze help pls

i started adding new transitions to an existing project. Any of these new transition simply get "stuck". they freeze where the audi gets ahead and the screen stays still for 15 extra seconds, they are not smooth, extrmely choppy...i dont know what to do. i have the latest updates, i re started, shut everything down..im lost..

1. What video and audio codec are used in your clips? If you are not sure, right-click on one of your video clips and select "Show In Finder". Right-click on the clip in the Finder, and select OPEN WITH...QUICKTIME PLAYER.
In QuickTime Player, click Command-I to open the Inspector and tell us what it says next to the word FORMAT:

Upgrading from PSE5 to PSE9 and Organizing Photos - Help Pls.

Hi everyone,
I've finally got an upgrade to Photoshop Elements - I'm currently using 5.0 and I was given version 9.0 for Christmas... so excited!
I wanted to see if anyone has any advice for upgrading - in some ways, I want to start over from scratch and re-import all of my photos to the organizer. Some photos are duplicated, and some are not showing up at all even though I know they're on the HD and also in the organizer files, but they don't show up in the actual photo thumbnails - very confusing.
I also don't like the chaos I used for tags when I first started taking and editing photos - so I'd like to restart that as well.
Has anyone else recently upgraded Photoshop Elements? Can you start clean, or does it import all of the tags and issues from the previous version you used?
Also - does anyone have any advice for how to actually organize the photos? I keep them on my HD, but I don't know if the volume of photos can or will cause problems. I also back up to an external HD for safekeeping. Any advice on how to store and organize photos would be very much appreciated.

Hi Julie
When you upgrade to PSE9 the program will automatically offer you the choice of upgrading an earlier catalog.
Simply reject this and you can then start over and import photos and tag them as you like.

Install and uninstall of .EXE application through application catalog in SCCM2012

We are able to install the application through catalog for both 32bit and 64bit windows7 operating systems.
Where as we are unable to uninstall the application for both 32 and 64bit at the same time. Either we need to give command line
%programfiles%\Mozilla firefox\uninstall\helper.exe to uninstall in 32bit or we need to give
%programfiles(x86)%\Mozilla firefox\uninstall\helper.exe to uninstall in 64bit separately.
Even if i select the option run installation and uninstall program as 32-bit process on 64bit clients and give command line as
%programfiles%\Mozilla firefox\uninstall\helper.exe it only works for 32bit systems and not for 64 bit.
Please help me to resolve this....
