Installation der CS5 Web-Premium Trial schlägt fehl - Datenträger fehlt?

Hallo,

  • Installer fails to initialize, CS5 Web Premium, Mac OSX 10.7.3

OK I had a trial of Dreamweaver 5.5 on my Macbook which has expired. I uninstalled and now I'm trying to install our web premium cs5. Getting error, 'installer failed to initialize'
Downloaded the support advisor, it says there are no issues.
    Any ideas ?
    Rich

Fixed. We created an ISO from the web premium DVD and copied that onto the Mac, then used the Mac ISO mounter and it installed fine from there.
    Thanks

    Hi,
I have just upgraded my computer and I am looking for a link to download CS5.5 Web Premium Trial version, I have a serial key, I am asking because I have misplaced my CS5.5 disc.
    Thanks

If you previously purchased and registered CS5.5, you can log in to your Adobe.com account and download it via the My Orders link.
    Otherwise try http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs5-5-direct-download-links.html
Follow the Very Important Instructions on that page first otherwise the links won't work.

  • CS5 Web Premium has to be ran as administrator?

I am having some difficulties getting a trial version of CS5 web premium running on my new Windows 7 64bit workstation.
I downloaded the installer from Adobe.  Ran it and all seemed ok until I tried to start an application.  I started getting Error 213:11.
Following some advice if found on this site through Google, I uninstalled every piece of Adobe software I had, I ran a CS5 cleanup script provided by Adobe and re-installed CS5.  No change.
Following this Tech note: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/835/cpsid_83576.html, I changed the permissions on the indicated folder to not be read only.  No Change.
I used the "Run as Administrator" option on a program.  And it worked.  I closed the program and started it normally, same error code but after the program started not before it started as previously happened.  Set the program to run as administrator in the compatibility options and it starts.  Started another program in the suite that I had not previously started and it gets the Error 212:11, but after the program starts again.
Why would I have to run all these programs as an adminstrator?  I try to follow the best practice of not using the computer as an administrator when I don't need to be!  Is this going to change when I apply our license key after it arrives from our Maintaince program an a couple of weeks?

    Hi there,
I have a related problem and feel a solution to the above issue might be able to help!  I recently installed CS5 Master Collection onto a networked machine running Windows XP (32-bit).  We generally log into our machines at work using an account without administrator rights - when needing to install software, we log in as an administrator.
I installed CS5 Master Collection whilst logged in as an administrator, without any problem.  I was also able to launch the CS5 programs without any problem whilst using this administrator account.
If I then log in with my normal account (without administrator rights) and launch a CS5 program, it immediately crashes.  The standard Windows 'crash' message comes up:  'Adobe Encore [for example] has encountered a problem and needs to close'.
If I launch a CS5 program 'running as' an administrator, whilst logged in with my normal (non-administrator) account, it works.
I've also tried changing the permissions/write access associated with the CS5 Master Collection folders: I logged in as an administrator, right-clicked on the CS5 folders, hit the 'Security' tab and then changed the access so that they're open to all users on the machine.  Logging back in with my normal account, all of the programs still crashed immediately after launching.
I feel that I'm missing something very obvious - any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Cheers,
    Tom

  • Problems with CS5 Web Premium Disks Being Unreadable

I pre-ordered my CS5 Web Premium update and finally received the three disk set on May 6.  Attempted to install and the first disk which was the Suite installed fine.  The other two disks were unreadable.  I called Adobe support and they shipped another set to me which arrived today, May 12, and the same thing happened with the same two disks - Adobe Acrobat and CS5 Content.  The disks are unreadable on five of my Macs and three windows machines.
Called tech support and was bounced around from Customer Service to support in India and back to Customer Service and finally told them I just wanted a refund after about ninety minutes on the call.  I do find it funny that I was passed to Tech Support to "troubleshoot" unreadable disks.
A simple solution which nobody at Adobe seemed to grasp is to allow you to download a copy even if you paid for a shipped copy. I am amazed that this is not an option.  So now I will eat the shipping costs and send my box back to Adobe and wait for what will probably be months before they credit my card back for the purchase.
Anybody else having problems with the install disks?

CS5 loads fine but Acrobat is unreadable and the Content disk is unreadable.  The CS5 trial download doesn't include the content or Acrobat.  Acrobat is a windows only download.   So the trial download only installs what comes on disk 1 which is the only good disk of the three in the shipment.
A guy I talked to in Tech Support acknowledged that they produced a bad batch of disks and it seems I got two shipments of bad disks.

  • CS5 Web Premium without Flash Builder Premium?

So after spending an arm and a leg, you do not get a Flash Builder Premium with CS5 Web Premium but only Standard? This surprises me as I thought Adobe's greed is not as big as long term goals, promotion of Flash platform, being nice to users, especially as we all know Flash is a bit thin on some platforms and on the web at the moment. Obviously I was wrong and the greed surpasses all imaginable levels.
I frankly don't get the calculation where for the same price I get a State Of The Art Hardware - Mac, plus all the Apple dev tools for FREE. That's a computer, yes a laptop, the best out there, brand new, PLUS the software. On the other hand Adobe (with whose products you can't build and sell as good apps as with Apple's), is selling you Web **Premium** at a very high price, and YET you have to pay even more to actually get FB **Premium**.
Is FB considered like a useless add-on into the Web Premium bundle? Did they think, heck nobody will need it but let's give the basic version there to promote it a bit. Sort of like when you buy Windows, they give you a trial of some Antivirus software. Or is anybody thinking that FB is something I will use 80% out of Web Premium bundle? Or should it be packed with Video bundle? I really don;t get it.
So it's like this for the same money
Apple = Mac + Great Dev Tools + Tons of other apps
Adobe = CS5 Web Premium minus- FB Premium
To be fair, I did hear a rumor that if you complain to Adobe Customer Care, that they give you a license for free, which is the only fair thing. However, I'm waiting for quite some time now as my support case is on hold. What do you guys think about it and do you have any experience with it?

Gritty_d it appears that Flash Builder 4.6 is only included with Production Premium and Master Collecton CS6 - http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite.html.  It is not included currently with the Creative Cloud.
Did you purchase the upgrade to Web Premium or were you given a free upgrade to Creative Suite 6?

  • Installing CS5 Web Premium to Windows 8.1

I am having trouble installing CS5 web premium on window 8.1.  I have the disc and have also tried from adobe downloads.  I keep getting an installer that doesn't work and refers me to adobe support that no longer exists.  Can someone please help me?

    Ok, thanks.
    I'll go trough your tips.
At a quick glans it seems that the answer may be
    Main installation log errors
    Log string
    Error description
    Possible solution
Exit Code: 20 - install source path does not exist
    Install source files are missing.
Reextract or copy the contents of the installer.
My installation is in swedish so my error text is translated.
I'll get back when I've tried this out.
    /Björn

  • I have a license for CS5 Web Premium (Dutch), but I can't download the correct version.

Installed the English version, but now my serial is not valid. Where can I download the dutch version for CS5 Web Premium. Lost my disc
Or is there a way to get my serial transfered to a valid english version? Thanks in advance!

See if the Dutch version is available thru the alternate download site.
You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

CS5 does not qualify for a language swap.  Only the latest release, CS6, does.

  • Where to download CS5 Web Premium?

Where can I download the CS5 Web Premium.  I don't have a license for CS5.5 so I need to download CS5.
    Thanks,
    Lee

if you follow all 7 steps you can dl a trial here:  http://prodesigntools.com/all-adobe-cs5-direct-download-links.html
    and activate with your serial.
if you have a problem dl'g, you didn't follow all 7 steps.  the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
