  • Can't install CC gives me error code 201 help?!?!

    I'm trying to install CC, so I can download the trial version of Photoshop CS 6. But whenever i try to install it, it says, "We've encountered the following issues: There seems to be a problem with the download process.   • Error Code 201 when installing MUSE update on Windows 7

    I am running Windows 7 and upon opening MUSE, I am prompted to install an update. When I click on the install, I get an Error Code 201.
    What is the fix for this?

    Are you getting the same error again when you retry to install the update ?
    This is basically a windows error which is related to application installation , were you installing any other app at same time ?

  • Cant download cc desktop app.... get error code 201..... anybody got a fix for this.....

    Just built a custom pc.... now I cant download the cc desktop app so I can download the main apps.... now im stuck with a ton of work to do and no way to do it....  when I try and download I get a error code 201 or 207.....need help asap

    Hi Sallyinouralley,
    Did you pause the download or face stability difficulties with your Internet connection? Error 201 indicates that the download of the installation files was unable to be resumed successfully. I would recommend utilizing a different Internet connection. If you are connected via WiFi try a wired connection. If you are connected via a wired connection then please try a different cable.
    Please refer to below mentioned steps:
    MAC
    1) If you are using the Wi-Fi connection try with wired connection.
    2) Delete the OOBE folders from both the location of HD.
    3) Run the CC Cleaner to uninstall the creative cloud and if its first time you can skip this step
    4) Give Permissions to Adobe Folders and restart the system and download the cc again.

  • Error Code 201 and 213 when trying to install any Adobe application / Update my Creative Cloud Desktop App. Have tried troubleshooting with Online Chat Agents, no luck.

    I have been trying for 2 days now to get this resolved.
    Computer hashard wired internet connection, running Windows 7 Home Premium. No other issues with downloading or uploading from any other sites or programs. No other network issues reported on other computers.
    It started when I went to install Lightroom through my Creative Cloud. It prompted me to update my Creative Cloud Desktop App, which I went to do and then promptly got Error Code 201. I restarted my Creative Cloud and then skipped the update, hoping it was just an issue with that specific download. I clicked to install Lightroom and the same thing happened, Error code 201.
    I restarted my machine, and tried again. Same issue.
    I contacted Support. They had me go in and change a bunch of folder names to and add "old" to the end of them and then had me try using the Adobe Cleaner tool, which did not work. He had me go in and change some internet settings, still nothing. Same issues as before, only now with all the renaming of things I cannot even open programs I had previously been able to open like Photoshop.
    He instructed me to reinstall the CC Desktop App because the Cleaner tool was not recognizing that it existed anymore (probably something to do with renaming files.. just saying) and now I get the 201 Error when I try to reinstall the CC Desktop App.
    I ran out of time and had to stop after being on with them for over an hour.
    Today I contact back and was instructed to create a new user account on my computer and try downloading and installing the application in the new user. Same errors. 213 at first, restarted my computer and then got Error Code 201 again.
    I am getting really frustrated and really behind on my work. Any information someone could give me would be greatly appreciated. Currently waiting for a chat person to be available again.

    Meowia for Error 201 please see Error downloading Creative Cloud applications - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/error-downloading-cc-apps.html.  Error 213 indicates there was problem locating the update or an incorrect URL.  The troubleshooting steps are still the same as both errors are related to failure of the current network connection.

  • Error code:201 - can't connect to DVR from ipad app, nor fiostvcentral website

    Any ideas how to fix a Error Code 201.
    When I try to connect to my DVR form the iPAd app, I get that message.  The TV seems to be workign fine, and the remote control function in the app works... but it's not gettgin any DVR info beyond the name of the boxes.

    I've been having the same problem and was just able to solve it on my own using Verizon's in-Home agent.  Here's how I did it. 
    The Problem
    When attempting to connect to the Cable Box using the Verizon iPhone or iPad apps, you get the message "Network connction to FIOS services timed out (201)" or something similar.  Everything works except for this: Your TV, your Internet, you Wifi network.
    The Solution
     From your desktop browser, go to http://www.verizon.com/inhomeagent, then download and install the in-Home agent application.
    Launch in in-Home Agent App, click on "Quick Fixes", and then click on "Troubleshooting TV Issues" 
    Click through until you're prompted to select the Set Top Box (STB) you're trying to connect to. Then click "Next."
    The agent will "send commands" to your STB.  When it's done, turn on your STB (if it's not already on) and your TV.  In my case, it said it was downloading and to wait a minute.  Then my picture came back.  This step may not be necessary to fix the problem, but it's what I did before attempting to use the iPhone/iPad apps.
    Try accessing again using your iPhone/iPad app(s).  If you're already connected, just use the refresh (circling arrow) button to check it out.
    This worked for me.  Let us know if it works for you.

    cant download CC desktop appAfter spending 1 n a half hours on phone with adobe support .. watching them do everything that i tried before calling.... leaves me to belive that there may be something wrong on adobes end.. i have tried difrent internet connections this is very fustrating.. i have paying clients who are at my neck because there videos arent ready...... 1 and a half hours and the result is i will call tomarow.... very disapointing... at least its a new build.  BEFORE I REINSTALL THIS OS DOESE ANYONE KNOW A FIX FOR ERROR CODE 201.

    Please try the below steps;
    1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button. In the search box, type Internet Explorer, and then, in the list of results, click Internet Explorer.
    2. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
    3. Click the Connections tab, and then click LAN settings.
    4. Select the Automatically detect settings. Check box.

    I assume you are using the Creative Cloud desktop to download Ps CC? Try signing out, restarting your computer, and signing back in.
