Installation Error "Could not determine information about file system"
Hi, i get the following error trying to install ABAP central instance on windows server 2003 enterprise edition. I am trying to do a local installation.
Anybody have any ideas what i am doing wrong?

During installation when it prompts / gives us to type / Browse the installtion sources like installation master / ker cd's / installation export .......,
What did you do ?
did you browse to the respective directory ??
or
did you manually type ??
I got the same problem on unix like. On oversight instead of browsing i typed manually and by mistake in one of the path i added space in one of the installation source path and installation ended with not able to locate file system error.
if you have typed it manually .. i beleive it could be similar to this ??

I'd suggest you check NIC settings and AD configuration.

Hello,
We recently upgrade our SQL Server 2012 SP1 (64bit) dev edition to standard edition, after we purchased the required licence and it was deployed in production.
Since the edition change, we are now receiving the following error, with some of our jobs, which have an e-mail step in them, which is causing the jobs to fail.

Query execution failed: Msg 15404, Level 16, State 19, Server BL-SVR15, Line 1
Could not obtain information about Windows NT group/user 'BLUELIZARD\savaa', error code 0x6e.
Any ideas how to fix this issue? We were also having a similar error, when executing the jobs, but changing the job owner to SA has fixed this issue.

Which user account you used for SQL Server service, domain account or local account?
If it is domain account, are you able to log in to a machine with it?
Make sure that the password of account is not expired.
Also, grant the user Allowed to Authenticate permission and see how it helps.

i have a small sharepoint farm "2 servers" (WFE) and SQL Server 2012 ,
i installed rsSharePoint for reporting services , as a read the Reporting services is Application Service with SQL 2012 not as SQL 2008 R2 with SharePoint integrated mode, so after installation when am trying to configure the SQL Server
Reporting Services Application services i got the below error :

any kind of help would be much appreciated .I'm having the same issue, but to me it seems like the instructions I've seen are all over the place. I already have SP 2013 and SQL 2012 SP 1 installed. I already added the features for Reporting Services - Sharepoint and Reporting Services
Add-in for SharePoint Products. I didn't see the Reporting Service service in CA, so I ran the powershell scripts to add SPRSService and SPRSServiceProxy.
My initial quest, was to get the BI features enabled, which took me on the journey of adding the Report Services, then I got the error.
Then when I read this about installing the BI features

Is Reporting Services different or in addition to the BI Feature (PowerPivot)?
Have I missed a step?

I have configured the PATH variable (Windows 2000) and "javac" works. I cannot, however, get my programs to run because of the error every time I type "java". Also, I did not install my JDK / SDK to the directory in which the computer is looking for the "java" cammand (ie. it is not in 'Program Files'...). we want to install Reporting Services in a 2-Tier Architecture. The Servers are the following:
SERVER1: Windows Server 2012 and SQL Server 2012
SERVER2: SharePoint 2013 (WFE)
Reporting Server is installed on SERVER1 and running. On SERVER2 the registration of the service through Powershell was done but it does not start. An Error when starting the Service on the server occurs with the message:
"Installation Error: Could not find SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\110 registry key."
I have found the following in msdn stating that a minimal of the same SharePoint Installation must exist on the Reporting Server. The article is for SQL Server 2008 R2 and SharePoint 2010. Is this the case also for SQL Server 2012 and SharePoint 2013 and

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to install Reporting Services in a 2-Tier Architecture.
As the article
say, if you use Two-Computer Deployment, the first computer hosts an instance of a SharePoint product. The Reporting Services Add-in is installed on this computer. The second computer hosts SQL Server Reporting Services and the Database Engine.
The steps to install in a two-tier environment are very similar to a standalone environment hence you can go to refer to the ' Install Reporting Services SharePoint Mode for SharePoint 2013' article at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj219068(v=sql.110).aspx

Error could not determine video format
Hi,
I am trying to get my media working via plex but I get a message on my apple tv and my mac saying error could not determine video format.
OI am really puzzled by the fact that one day ago all worked fine! I haven't (as far as I am aware) made any changes to my system so I was wondering if anyone had this message before and knows what to do or try!

I am getting below Error while doing an ETL full load (Informatica 901) on the task DATAWAREHOUSE.DATAWAREHOUSE.SILOS.SIL_APTransactionFact_DiffManLoad.
My source system is EBS R12 and Target is OBI Datawarehouse (7.9.6.3)

Below is the file system specification of my server.

I could also see that my 'Cache' folder from '/BI/infohome/server/infa_shared/' is increasing upto 190 GB and throwing an error. Is this normal that the data cache to increase up to 190 GB for a EBS source system which has only 500 GB data in total. And i am doing only load for Financial Analytics.

I checked out "SIL_APTransactionFact_DiffManLoad" workflow in Workflow manager and unchecked "Lookup Cache() function".
However, I still see the cache files created on <<INFA_HOME>>/9.0.1/server/infa_shared/Cache folder.
Since it was set not to use cache, can it be possible not to have these files cache files generated.

I already tried everything in customizing (IMG->Financial Accounting->Lease Accounting-> Specifications for Controlling Processing->Financing Classification) to fix this error, but the error always remains. Can anyone help?I don't know where to customize the check sequences. I already checked customizing under "Value Determination Using Substitution", "Financing classification", and "Validation", but the error always remains.
Are there no Lease Accounting experts at all who can help me? -

I setup SharePoint for 3 tiers, WFE, APP + DB Server.
I installed SQL 2014 reporting service Add-in on APP Server and already enable sql reporting service in DB Server. DB Server can do report server.
I follow the step : https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj219068(v=sql.120).aspx but I stuck in no.2, I cannot start the services, in picture below.
I checked the SSRS provision is disabled not online

According to your description, when you register and start the Reporting Services SharePoint Service, the error: Could not find SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\120 registry key is thrown out.
As this
article say, if you use three-computer deployment, the first computer hosts an instance of a SharePoint product. The Reporting Services Add-in is installed on this computer. The second computer hosts SQL Server Reporting Services and the third computer
hosts an instance of the Database Engine.
Regarding the error message, it could cause by the Reporting Services – SharePoint feature and Reporting Services Add-in for SharePoint Products haven’t been installed. Please refer to articles:

Installation Error - Could not open key.............Please help
Still trying to install iTunes and QuickTime, but have an error,
Could not open key:
HKEY_LOCALMACHINE\Software\Classes\QuickTimePlayerApp\CLSID.
Verify that you have suffcient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.
Any help would be most welcome, as I am desperate to use my new Nano my wife just bought me for my Birthday. In plain English if you can.+My next problem is, that whenever I plug my iPod Nano, 3rd Gen into my PC, it shuts down and reboots. Any ideas on this one?+
Do you also get that if you try playing a movie using QuickTime?
Are you getting any sort of blue screen when the PC shuts down? if so, what numerical and text codes are you getting with it? (ie 0x{zeros/letters/numbers} CAPSANDUNDERSCORES)
If the blue screen mentions a specific file, let us know what that is called too. (Exact spelling, please.)

ITunes 10.7 installation error: "Could Not Open Key," etc. & Privileges error
When attempting to download iTunes 10.7.0.021 (latest version for iOS 6 compatibility with my new iPhone5) I get the following error:
"Could not open key: UNKNOWN\Components\DA42BC89BF25F5BD0AF18C3B91A1EE8\7E577B2224C65CF4E801A9E52375 DB49."
This error pops up in the middle of my iTunes installation; After hitting okay, the installation proceeds and then another error message reading:
"Apple Mobile Devices Failed To Start. Please make sure you have sufficient privleges... etc."
I don't know what to do about both of these errors, so if you find a solution please e-mail me: [email protected]try with this one
uninstall all the apple application S/w like Quicktime, Bonjour,
apple Device Support, Apple Auto update, Itunes etc from your pc,
Reboot it
Now download a fresh itunes from apple and try installing
Reboot it
If you are having Problem in uninstalling any of the apple application
try 'revo uninstaller' and uninstall all the apple applications

Can't install Adobe flash player since updating to Yosemite
