Installation error : Installing CE 7.11 SP1_SDN-Preview

Hello all,
When I tried to install CE 7.11 in my system, I am getting the following error,
+Connection to SAPinst refused with the following message:+
+Connection to SAPinst could not be established, see following messages.+
+Could not connect to host localhost on port 21200.+
+java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect+
+java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect+
  +Please correct the error condition and restart.+
I have installed "JDK 1_5_0_17" version too. I have configured Microsoft Loopback adapter too. Please let me know how to resolve this.

    So I go back to the web page and read the instructions that says download 'Adobe Download Assistant', in order to get my CSDP5.5 up and running....That ended up being a total waste.
    If I change my preferences so I can download from 'anywhere', wouldn't that be opening up my computer to virus? An IT person at my company said that Mac's can get virus' just like PC's but Apple just doesn't care.
    Can I download CSDP5.5 for my desktop from the App Store?

  • Installation error Install Failed: Error Domain=PKInstallErrorDomain Code=112

    Trying to install an application or "whatever", from a mounted dmg image installer gives this error:
    Install Failed: Error Domain=PKInstallErrorDomain Code=112.
    A developer I contacted suggested a workaround by disabling/enabling checkmark of "Ignore ownership on this volume".
    Is there anyone knowing the reason for this issue and final solution?
    PS I already have verified/repaired permissions on boot disk.

    Steps to do
    1) /etc/hosts now reads:
    127.0.0.1     localhost
    192.168.56.101 demo.us.oracle.com oracle-pc
    2) updated java in path /usr/java from 1.5 to the latest version (1.6.0_27) by rpm-deinstalling the old version first and
    then rpm-installing the new version.
    3) Don't do a simple install.
    Instead u installed WebLogic Server 10.3.5 first, than do the Repository creation with RCU, followed by the BI Server software only install
    and finally the BI Server configuration.

  • Installation error installing pc suite

    Hi All,
    am getting a specific error when trying to install pc suite, and am hoping someone can help!
    am using winxp home edition with sp1, have the nokia 6630
    have tried to install using the disk that cam with the phone which is version 4.8 (i think) and also tried the newest version off the website. I even tried the disk that came with my partners 6680, but all are giving the same error....
    error reads:

    ive successfully installed this software on my works pc, using the disk, cable etc, but need to put it on my home pc too.....my home pc is a mirror of the works one, so i cant see what the problem is.....any help much appreciated!

    saracen, if you copypast the error message to goole, you will get loads of links that handle similar problems, I suggest you read those and try to figure out what is identical to your setup and find a solution from there.

    I cannot get my install to go past the MaxDB Server Installation step.  I continually get the following message:

    I am also experiencing this problem. I went about it in a different way; I created a system checkpoint in Windows XP before I initiated the install. Upon installation step 3 (install of MaxDB), I got the error:
    "An error occured while processing service SAP Netweaver 04 Support Release 1>"
    I did a system restore 2X - same...
    I did uninstall - same...
    Anyone out there that may be able to help me? We have done several other installs on similar machines with NO PROBLEMS. It looks like its a problem related to the local machine I am doing the install on....??????

    When Installing Exchange 2013 on server 2012 I get the following error during Step 1 of 8 of Transport Service. I have installed and unistalled Exchange a few times, restarted the machine manually and removed exchange from AD, etc. to no avail.

    I installed Adobe Creative Suite 6 through Adobe Creative Cloud.  All of the applications seemed to install correctly, except Adobe Edge Preview, for which the following message was given.
    Installation completed though some optional components failed to install correctly.  More details.

    Installation retry also failed and gave the same error.
    What is the solution to fixing this error?

    Thanks. The link you provided is to a PPT and WMA presentation about the DirectX 11 technology update. I downloaded http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35, instead, installed it, and then ran the installation retry in Adobe Application Manager. Installation worked. Success.

  • Installation error when installing CS6 on Mac?

    I keep getting an installation error when I try to install CS6 on my Macbook Pro. It says "installer failed to initialize, this could be due to a missing file".     I believe that I had to install the jre in order to get the installation to run,  but this was when I was installing the SP4 version.  Maybe you do need to do it, but I am confused as to why it is not in the instructions.  Anyway, lets go that route and see what happens.
    Download and install the jdk, this will also have the jre(java runtime envirnoment.
    J2SE SDK version 1.4.2_08 or 1.4.2_09 (Sun JDK 1.5 not tested). You can download this from Sun Microsystems at http://java.sun.com/products/archive/j2se/1.4.2_09/index.html. Please note that version 1.4.2_10 may cause installation problems.
    Once installed,  we need to create a envirnoment variable.
    Right-click on My computer, properties, click advanced, enviornment varibles,  under "System Variables", click new,  name the variable as SAPINST_JRE_HOME, make the value as C:\j2sdk1.4.2_09\jre 
    The path above will be the directory that the jdk is installed to,  so check the file path.
    In my case, i have jdk 1.4.2_09,  if you use 08, then you need to make that adjustment.
    Next, reboot, and try the installation again.

    I´m new in this techology but I had the same problem and it was due to my master password was not valid ( the first password I tried was 'j2eemaster') but when I changed it with 'j2eemas' this error log was solved.

    right click on mycomputer then click manage->services and application->services
    check here wehter any maxdb services are running, if so stop them.

    On the computer, we will want to click on Start > Control Panel. In Control Panel, we will click the "Uninstall a program" link.

    Then if you see other iTunes entries on the list, we'll want to remove them the same way.

    I tried that but unfortunately, it isn't working. I still get that same message with error code 2324.

    This error code is not something that I am finding in my sources, Samia. So there is a chance that it is being caused with the Windows computer itself.
