Installation error of InDesign on CC

Hello, when I try and download InDesign App on CC it errors at about 40% of the download and says "Installation failed, unable to extract to temp directory"does anyone know what I need to do in order to sort this issue? I have previously downloaded Adobe Illustrator without a problem.

Sarah then you probably have insufficient file permissions under your current User account. I would recommend verifying your installed security software is not blocking saving and extracting files in the temporary directory. I would also recommend you verify you have correct file permissions for the temp directory. When starting InDesignCS2 received new error message -- InDesign is missing required system fonts or

We are not able to start Indesign CS2 without getting the error message: <<InDesign is missing required system fonts or CMap files. Please reinstall InDesign.>> This is on WinXP. Recently I installed Creative Suite CS4. It took almost a day to install. The installation kept on stopping. Each time we were able to install one more program. After checking all of the programs we discovered that Firefox would not start due to a possible font error. After reading many posts I decided to uninstall a lot of fonts since I did not know which one was the culprit. However now I am missing a font (at least I hope that this is caused by a missing font and not anything else) that should be there and I don't know which one it should be. I did uninstall a <lot> of fonts and don't remember which ones. WE did uninstall all CS2 programs and then reinstalled only the necessary three. However that did not make any difference. Any ideas and suggestions would be welcome Thanks Pia Pehtla

How can I resolve installation errors DF024 & DF037 for CS5.5 on Mac?

Please help. I've gone through the forum posts, as well as searched the Internet, and find the matter daunting. Have tried to implement a solution and may have caused more problems. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.
PROBLEM:
I am unable to uninstall or reinstall both Dreamweaver 5.5 and CS 5.5.

BACKGROUND (History appears chronologically in 4 parts.):
CS 5.5 was already installed and functioning fine, then upgraded from OS 10.6 to 10.7. Noticed issues with elements not appearing in DISPLAY VIEW of Dreamweaver, but was correct in CODE VIEW and BROWSER PREVIEW.
Tried to reinstall and uninstall Dreamweaver 5.5 several times using the CS 5.5 installation disk. Consistently got DF024 errors. NOTE: After first attempt. installer marked Dreamweaver as already installed, but not the others. Using the Finder, the Dreamweaver directory appears to be empty unless the files are now hidden. Nothing regarding the application can be seen in the Trash. Also unable to launch any other Adobe CS apps.

SLConfig.xml appeared to be an alias pointing to a file of the same name in the Mac version. Went to original file, made a new alias and replaced the corrupted file.
Then rebooted system and relaunched CSS5.5 Installer with all apps selected. Program started and ran for about 15 min before reporting more errors, now with error DF037 as well. Did this again with the same results except the DF037 error did not reappear. It appears the the problems are mostly in two directories:
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/CameraProfiles/
and
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/ssc/DesignSuitePremium-CS5.5-Win-GM/
but I am not sure how to best resolve this.

Thank you for your reply.
Since my initial posting here, I've attempted a few more installations. Each time a file from /Library/Application Support/Adobe/ssc/ would appear with the same error DF024, and it was always an alias. So each time I would replace the old alias with a new manually created alias pointing to the same original as the old alias. Sure enough, when I relaunched the installer, error DF024 with the old alias no longer appeared, but a new error DF042 with another alias from the same directory did appear. Then I manually replaced all aliases found in the /Library/Application Support/Adobe/ssc/ directory with new ones I created.
Upon rebooting and relaunching the installer program, the program did not stop at around 12% as consistently it did up until now. Instead, it progressed to 80% before it stopped and reported a huge number of new errors. Most of them pertain to the inability to roll back the installation it had attempted. No files from /Library/Application Support/Adobe/ssc/ appeared in the new log report.
To gain a better understanding of the logs, I downloaded AdobeSupportAdvisor and tried using it, but it referred me to online solutions that weren't relevant to my situation (i.e., one mentions Photoshop CS4 and I've never installed CS4).
I also tried following the articles from the Adobe knowledgebase:
cspid_84451: Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6
which is fine if you only have a few errors, and
cspid_83481: Installation, launch log errors | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CCM
which doesn't list error DF024.
At this point I've decided to not not make anymore attempts without some expert guidance.
The log file seem too large to post here. If you would like review the log, I can perhaps post it on www.pastebin.com unless you can suggest a better way. Please let me know.

CS4, ERROR 5, InDesign, Mac OSX 10.9.3 Fix?

I apologize if this was posted before. I don't have time (busy mom) to read a thousand forums, 99% of which have no resolution. Just wonder if anyone can fix the issue: ERROR 5, all other programs will open except InDesign.
Hard drive was wiped clean. Reinstalled CS4 and now this one won't open.
Live chat was no help, matter of fact he sent me to a link that basically trashed Adobe support techs and said they still had no answer after holding for hours. Pretty ironic.
I'm sure this must be simple. Thank you so much for any help in advance.

CS4 is not supported on OS 10.9.x, so you're mostly on your own. If that's an installer error rather than a document error, I recall a thread that discussed it a year or two ago. I think Matthew Laun had an actual answer at the time, though it may not be relevant in the new OS. Google searches work better than the forum search, so look for InDesign "error code 5" Laun.

Installation error EX11

When trying to install InDesign CC on my Windows 7 machine I keep getting the installation error EX11 (Error upon extracting to the temporary folder.) I've already tried two different folders (on my C and my D drive), each with plenty available space.
Any help would be much appreciated!
(I've already tried to ask Adobe support, but it's impossible to get in touch with them. - the links on their website are circular, probably to evade annoying questions from potential clients.)

Please enable the hidden administrator (Enable the (Hidden) Administrator Account on Windows 7, 8, or Vista) & then try to install, or try creating another user profile & install from there.

I have a problem when installing any Adobe CC application from the Creative Cloud panel (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator). After each installation is completed, I get the following error message:

Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Restributable Packages were correctly installed before and the Adobe applications work properly. But the installation error is permanently displayed in the CC panel and prevents me from accessing the settings and updates. Does anyone have a solution to this issue?

In this case I suggest you to repair your Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x8B) and try re installing the products
To repair

Open control panel, then open programs > programs and features window
Right click onMicrosoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x86) select change, then choose repair ( Some times you need to restart the computer to perform the repair.)
Once repair completed restart the computer and try installing the products

I think I've tried this re-installation process about 12 times now. Seriously. I've been at this for more than 8 hours. I've been reading through forums, trying to find and delete various Adobe files, and I've had no luck.
Doing a clean OS install is really not an option. There are just too many pieces of software I'd have to re-install. But I'm at a loss as to what to try next. Any thoughts?

I am trying to install Creative MediaSource Player/Organizer 5.0.38 ([size="2" color="#3300ff">CMS5_PCAPP_LB_5_0_38.exe) for a Zen Micro?on a friends computer, having downloaded it from Creative whever I run the program it all extracts but once the install starts I get the "Error code 5002". I have also tried to install from the net with the same error, not surprisingly. I have also tried to install while in safe mode it gets further but then obviously doesn't see the player so then won't let me go further. Any ideas anybody, please?

Yeah I have seen that thread, but the difference here is I am not trying to open files on an existing and functioning version of indesign: I am trying to install a brand new version of indesign CS5 and the rest of the CS5 suite onto my laptop. I am getting error code 5 as an installation error, not a file reading error or file corruption error.

How do I resolve install error U44M1P7 InDesign CC

How do I resolve an installation error U44M1P7 associated with a problem with updating InDesign CC.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program on a number of occasions. This updown error means I can no longer use the program.
I have deleted the Adobe Folder from the Program folder of my computer and downloaded the Adobe Support Advisor, which fails to identify an error.
Keen for any support I can receive.

Navigate to the log files in one of the following folders:
      • Windows 32 bit (XP, Vista, 7): \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\
      • Windows 64 bit (XP, Vista, 7): \Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers
      • Mac OS: /Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers/
     The log filename includes the product name and install date, followed by ".log.gz." The extension .gz indicates a compressed format.
     Use a decompression utility such as Winzip or StuffIt to decompress the .gz file. Once uncompressed, the log file is a plain text file.

How so I overcome an update installation error: (U44M1P34)?

I have repeatedly received an installation error U44M1P34 for Indesign CC. I use Windows 7 Ultimate on a PC laptop. All other application updates go smoothly.
