Installation Error Report:cpsid_82829s1: "A restart is pending," bootstrapper error has occurred.
When installing DW CS6 I am getting the above error message. I have tried to restart my computer twice as advised to no avail. I then completed the suggested Registry Edit to no avail. The last action was to delete the InProgress Key which was not there.
I am working with Win 7 64 bit with IE10.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can complete the loading of the program?
Thanks,
Cuda Man
Have you ran Windows Update and applied all relevant updates which are available?

This just started today. Everything seems fine. I just push the popup off to the side and continue to use the browser. If I were to click on the, "Send Error Report" or the "Don't Send" buttons then Firefox just closes!
Strangest thing yet, trying to figure it out!
Oh, I tried the reboot without add-ons! Even did the reinstall, still the same???Just got back online, still working on things, BUT ???
I went back and dumped Norton's which I get for free from Comcast. I downloaded the AVG scanner. Went through all the bells & whistles and things seem ok ???? But I haven't done the reboot yet, so will do that soon. But I wanted to drop a line here and let you all know what is happening.
And Thanks Fred, the funny thing was it did seem to have something to do with their update??? I do like Norton's but my son uses this AVG and he said it was better, lol!!! But again, everyone has their favorite!
Mine is Norton's so once I confirm that everything is good, I'm going to try redoing Norton's and I'll try your suggestions, if they don't fix it!!
Thanks again, and will let you know if this is the fixed!!! -
Firefox constantly crashes and sends error reports
Hello,
I've installed the latest version of firefox on my new computer (which uses Windows 8) but it constantly crashes and sends error reports. Often when I send the error report and restart firefox, it just crashes again before the pages can even restore. I've reset firefox but this hasn't sorted the problem. I even tried completely uninstalling firefox and reinstalling it but this hasn't helped either. I've tried running it with no addons too but this hasn't helped either!
I'd be really grateful if someone could help me. Thanks in advance. If you installed Firefox 19, it has a known issue with certain graphics cards on Windows 8. Try installing Firefox 18.0.2 over your existing installation (no need to uninstall Firefox 19 first).

Hi All,
I pasted the error report info below that the most recent error brought up. My MacBook Pro will, on occasion, freeze up on me and usually turn the monitor completely black. This also happens occasionally when trying to boot up from a Standby mode, the system just never recovers and the monitor stays black. A couple times the monitor has stayed up displaying the last screen before the freeze and the system will just be frozen. The keyboard stays lit up however. I end up having to hard power down the laptop (by holding the power button for 4 seconds) and booting it back up.
I'm assuming it's a hardware issue, if the below info has any indicators as to what might actually be the problem it would be greatly appreciated if you could share that with me =)
Thanks!
Adam

I am currently working on setting up ACH process for a client using the SAP's standard IDOC process. Once the bank receives the ACH Idoc, if there any errors such as vendor account number missing, they send an edi error file back. Client is asking if there a way to set up SAP to automatically reverse the payment for that particular vendor upon receiving the error file from the bank.
Please advice if anybody has experience with this scenario.user3045615 wrote:
Returns: Error report - Connection reset by peer: socket write error when executing SQL script in an Oracle 12.1.0.2.0 Enterprise Edition database (residing on a remote Microsoft Windows x86 64-bit) user schema (datamart).
Initially, the error occured when the script attempted to compile a PL/SQL package body (1125 lines of code). Another script successfully compiled 4 larger PL/SQL package bodies (all exceed 1125 lines of code) in a different user schema (staging).
Now, the error occurs in staging user schema when calling a PL/SQL package.

I am not convinced that your error has much, if anything, to do with Oracle.
In the future use COPY & PASTE so we can really see what you actually do & what the complete response is. -
Hi,
I used validation in the transformation and pointed to PASS and FAIL. The fail should generate an error report, but where will i find the error report?
Is it in the management console?
Appreciate your help.
Thanks,
ArunHi Arun,
If I understood your design, youu2019re using a Validation transform and redirecting the u2018FAILSu2019 to another target. Is that right?
Well, the statistics for that can be found in the MC, under Data Validation area. But the statistics will be collected only if you set the u2018Collect data validation statisticsu2019 under the u2018Validation Transform optionu2019 found inside the Validation transform (Validation, validation, validation!). This data is collected only for failures.
Try that and let us know if you manage to find what you need.

TestLog Not Displayed in Error Reports
Hello,
when I run a load test and errors are produced I am not seeing the "Test Log" in the details section of the error report, I see it occasionally for some errors but not for all the errors.
Has anyone seen this issue before?
ThanksBy default only the logs of the first 200 failing tests are stored. See the "Maximum test logs" property of the run settings.
Clicking on the top of the details column should sort the test details on that column and so bring all the test logs to the top (or bottom, so click again) of the list.

Ok, so I'm a regular person, and don't have a clue what injecting a line means.
The story starts here. During a System Restore my computer crashed after my dog stepped on my surge protector.
I had to roll back my computer just prior to the 8.1 Update thru the other options menu...
My computer was shy of some of my recent updates, so I started a: Search for Updates; Then started my updating.
This is when I got the 800700A1 error, then followed by a 80070490 error report as well.
I could use some good coaching hear for a regular Mom with windows experience & not programing experience.user3045615 wrote:

We are loading data using SQLLDR.
The data which is not loaded to oracle table is written to the Bad file
and the error description of the error is written to the log file.
There are situations when data is written to the bad file for more than
one error.
For Example
ORA-00001 Unique Constraint...
ORA-01722 Invalid Number
What we want to do is extract data from the bad file specific to each
error.
Taking above example we want data from bad file for all the ORA-00001
errors listed in the log.
Basically we want to separate bad data fro each unique error listed in the log file.
Has anyone done this before and has some script or utility to do this.
I can clarify this further if needed, I know it is confusing.
Thanks.

Unable Install Bootcamp 2.0 OS X 10.5 - Error "A system restart is pending"
We are using Bootcamp Beta 1.4 on a Macbook Pro with Windows Vista installed without any problems. We have succesfully upgraded to OS X 10.5 and tried to upgrade the Windows drivers. This fails with the message
"A system restart is pending. Complete the restart and then retry this installation."
Rebooting does not make any difference.
Starting the install process with logging enabled via
msiexec /i Bootcamp.msi /l*v c:\Bootcamp.log
does not give more clues (at least for us). An error code 1603 ("Fatal Installer Error" is generated.I had the same problem with Vista Business 32bit. Fixed it by removing the data in PendingFileRenameOperations registry key:
1. Start -> execute "regedit"
2. Search through keys to find the string "PendingFileRenameOperations"
3. Double click on the registry key and remove everything that is in there
Then run cmd.exe from explorer as administrator (right click -> run as administrator) and manually start the msi from that commandline.
Apple has been on my sh*tlist for quite a while now, and things are getting worse. I had to buy Leopard just to obtain the current bootcamp drivers, after having spent a premium to purchase their hardware. Turns out the trackpad is still not properly supported in Windows.
I'm back to Thinkpads, even if it's Lenovo now. The quality is even better than MacBooks, they run windows natively and I don't have to deal with nonexistent customer support.
