Get installer error on CS6 upgrade

With CS5.5 when trying to install the upgrade to 6 it tells me there is an installer error and I should uninstall 5.5 then use cleaner. Can I just put on CS6 upgrade instead?

YEs, you do not need to have CS5.5 installed to install CS6. You only need to have the serial number from CS5.5 so that you can confirm the upgrade requirement is met.

This is a known issue, The workaround for the same is to create a folder 'Favorites' at
>'<Windows drive>:\Users\Public\Favorites\
Then try installing PS again it should work.

Error message CS6 trial installation

after the installation and the long extraction, now there is an error message:
"the setup file cannot be located (error 103)
It tells me to go to the folder and install myself, but there is nothing in the folder...

Installation errors for CS6

Ipourchased and installed CS6 design and web premium after uninstalling the down loaded trial version. I am receiving the following errors:
Display requirements not met
Error 1310: error writing to file c:\config.msi
DF012: File folder does not exist
Payload errors
Acrobat professional install failed
Can anyone tell me how to resolve these and will they effect my trying to use the software with these errors?

Yepp, it is. It will never work, I'm afraid. Evben if iit installed, the programs would not launch or not be usable because they cannot display the license agreement, certain panels and large fiel dialogs... Since this is a laptop obviously, you may have an option by plugging on an external monitor and making it the primary one. That way the installer would see it instead of the internal screen, but as I said, you may still have problems getting anything to work properly once you switch back to the built-in screen...

Hi, i am getting constantly the following error(see the log file) while installing. My platform XP-SP2. I have ried many times with registry cleaning and a neat deinstallation(manual) etc., but of no avail! Can anybody please let me know what's wrong with my version. Hello,
the extracted archive is not complete - some files are missing.
I think it has something to do with the CRC errors you have already mentioned.
So please try to re-download the archive from SAP.
In the following thread you will also find download links for FTP --> [link|;
Some other users had more luck with it than with the http download.

109 error with CS6 trial

I keep getting a 109 error message, when I tried to download the trial version of CS6. I also tried to download into a different location on my computer. But I still get the same error message. Could someone tell how to make this work?

Installation error Photoshop Cs6 Extended and Maverick

I have a brand new iMac which is operating with Maverick. I have just purchased Adobe Photoshop Extended and tried to install but I get an error straight away saying 'the following disk images could not be opened. Image - Photoshop_13_LS16.dr and the reason is input/output error.
I have already installed the program using this same disc on my Mac laptop which I have upgraded to Maverick but I had no issues.
Can anyone help me with what to do?

Everytime I have tried to install the Photoshop CS6 trial, it says that my installation has failed and that it has encountered errors. Below is what my error report says.

So, I'm not understanding what the error is.
I know I meet the system requirements because I'm running:

4 GB RAM
585 GBs of Hard Drive.
It says 86x bit? I think?
I'm pretty sure that I have those met.
Other than that, I'm just not understanding why this isn't working.
Adobe Download Assist is installed just fine.

Did you have the Photoshop Beta installed? If yes, then you need to uninstall that one before you can install the trial.
Does your account have sufficient privileges? If not, you might need to log in as Admin.
Run the install again.
If the error recurs, then run CS Cleaner Tool and remove all products.
Reinstalling after that, should resolve the problem. Get the Cleaner tool here: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

Indesign CS6 Trial Installation Error

I Tried to install the indesign cs6 trial, but everytime I try it stops and says it failed the Genuine Product Test. I downloaded the program straight from the Adobe website so it should be genuine, what should I do?

It still would indicate that you had a corruption of the install files. Did you utilize the Adobe Download Assistant or a direct download? Adobe After Effects Cs6 Installation Error. HELP!

When i do my installation of Adobe After effects cs6, i install as trial version, because i want to see what it is like, and i do everything like everyone says, and then it stops at 2 percent saying Installation Failed and it comes up with these solutions, and i did them all about 5 times and it STILL wont work! Okay, so I'm trying to install CS6 Trial to see if we want to update our office's CS5.
However when I try to install it, I have done this many times, redownloaded the installer many times, ran the cleaner so many times I have the key sequence memorized, (e, y, 1, 1, enter...) as well as restarted many times over the passed 5 hours, I get exit code 15, but 0 fatal, 0 errors, and 0 warnings... I am also running it as admin with full privilages and have tried compatibility mode for win xp sp3...

Done both Even booted into safe mode and tried to install, same issue.
My account is a local admin with full privelages, even tried to run the installer through an admin command prompt after CD'ing to the folder.
Still no dice
Edit: Okay so I just did, Another clean boot with the full hidden admin account and tried again, and no luck. Exact same error, exact same 2% on the installer.
So I tried to use AAMEE to rebuild it, then ran it with msiexec.exe /i CS6.MSI /qn ,
Which looked like it was going to work (watching task manager) It opened 3 copies of the msiexec process, and then adobe's setup.exe process, but then all 4 processes promptly closed.
I'm at a total loss here, and after 2 days of trying, still Cannot install CS6's Trial!!

After effects cs6 trial install errors

Hello,
I am trying to install the trial version of After effects cs6. I installed the entire cs6 master suite and everything worked except after effects. I tried again from the master suite and then with a separate after effects only installer(all from adobe's site) always getting the same results
here is the error summary:
I am trying to install on a new macbook retina, I had installed the CC trial but it has run out. maybe I need to uninstall Creative cloud, but all the other programs installed with no problems so i am not sure why its just after effects.

Thanks so much for your help, but i am encountering some issues with the log. In the link you posted I was directed to look for the log in library>logs>adobe>installers and that the file would consist of the product name/install date and end in .log.gz
However I can't find and file that meets this description or even an installers folder inside the adobe folder
^this is all that is in the adobe folder, and both these folders are empty.
There is another folder called adobe downloads which contains these files
which still don't really fit the description provided.
am i doing something wrong? or should i look somewhere else?
