I am trying to install NW2004s with SP9 (Java Trail Version) , that's failing Phase 14 of 32 in CreateDatabaseInstance failing.

    I have downloaded the trail version SAP Netweaver 2004s  java  almost 3 months ago. now  i have installed it on my pc , when i start the instance in SAP MMC , it is showing that server has stopped due to " Licence Check Failure " and turns into RED colour.
    what does it mean? please advise me .

    Temporary license valid upto 1month only.
    If so, after 30 days, license expires. Check for getting permanent license.
    Otherwise......set your os date to the date on which date ( 1month you installed)

  • JAI extension automatic installation fail with Java Plug-in 1.4.1_01

    Hi everyone,
    i have a html page with an applet that use the JAI (Java Advanced imaging) extension. I used to run it with java plug-in 1.3.1_03.
    When the JAI extension was not installed, it was automatically downloaded and installed. I use the sun "Signed Auto Installation for browsers" jar available on the JAI download page.
    But with Java Plug-in 1.4.1_01, it seems to have a security problem. Is the "Signed Auto Installation for browsers" only java plug-in 1.3 compatible or is there a way to install it with 1.4.
    If anyone has encountered the same problem with another extension, it could help me to know how to have it installed automatically with java Plug-in 1.4.
    I tested on IE 4 and 6 on Windows NT4 & IE 6 on Windows 2000, and i have the same results.

    I think the installer finds some remenance of the old SMS_MP. When looking i found some remains in IIS . I tried to remove the remains but still have the same error when installing the client. I uninstalled IIS completly. Can someone tell me where the client
    installer looks for the MP version? Would it help if i installed an SCCM MP on that server and the uninstalled it (Upgrade the MP)?

    Their must be something remaining that ccmclean can't find or can' access so i ran ccmclean /mp. This did some stuff and told me the system was clean again. I reran the client setup.

    I have try turn on / off other options in the response file but have no luck.
    The database is running using ASM and the ASM disks is using SAN as it storage. All the disks were successfully created. And I have verified that all the ASM disks are with correct permissions.

    Hi Mike,
    did you install all required rpm's? You could check this with my open source project which is also using silent installation method. Furthermore also ASM setup is included. ;)

    I got the following error when I try to install Web Application Server Java 6.40  SP9 on my laptop using the CD that comes with the Book 'Java Programming with the SAP Web Application Server'. I'm currently using window XP.
    The installation failed on the 3rd step 'SAP System Installation'.
    I logged on my laptop as my own userid, but I should have the administrator's rights.

    Hi There !
    Run SDM RemoteGui.
    Log in.
    Go to deployment tab.
    Find sap.comtcdtr~dbschema.sda in root directory under SDM.
    Adjust deployment configuration to Update deployed SDAs/SCAs that have any version.
    Complete the wizard.
    this works !

  • Java Error by installation of NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version

    If i try to install "New SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version" on Windows XP SP2 in 3 seconds after start I get this errormassage : Java.lang.noclassdeffounderror: run Exception in thread "main" and then is installer dawn. What is to do? Plaese help !!!

    i'm meet the same problem install the Netwear 7.0.1 ABAP trail version several times. first time used jdk1.5,second times with jdk1.6. and then pick up your sugssion i used with j2sdk-1_4_2_19,since i have't find j2sdk-1_4_2_16 (this is not big deal?) but still same problem occured .  my detail information as below :
    1. Windows XP pack 3. 1.128 GB ROM. enough space .
    2. enabled MS LoopBack Adapter and make the hosts entry
    3. x86 operation system .
    4. even i can't see last installtion page let me click next "start application server" ,but after then i get I:\SAP\NSP\log.txt same as you .

    Appreciate any help to resolve the following installation error on my Windows Vista system with JDK1.602
    Pop-up Error Message:
    The installer is unable to run graphical mode. Please check the value of the DISPLAY environment varibale.

    JSE8.1 (based on NetBeans 5.0) is not supported on Vista. You may want to consider using the latest NetBeans 5.5.1. (NetBeans is where all future development is planned for).

    From the release notes of NB551:
    # Issue #85361: NetBeans 5.5 installer does not start on Windows Vista.
        Description: On systems running Windows Vista, the NetBeans 5.5 installer fails to start
    and a message suggesting running with the "silent" or "console" flag appears.
        Workaround: To correct this, run the installer on JDK 6.0 build 96 or newer.
        If you encounter further difficulties, disable Compatibility Mode manually. You can do
    this by right-clicking the .exe installer file and choosing Properties from the pop-up menu,
    then deselecting Compatibility Mode in the Compatibility tab of the File Properties dialog.
    Note that if Compatibility Mode was turned on automatically, it is necessary to disable it
    for both the current user AND all users. To do so, click the "Show Settings for All Users"
    button, then deselect the Compatibility Mode checkbox in the "Compatibility for All Users"
    dialog.You can try the same workaround for installing jse8.1, to see if that works. But, it is an older version that is not supported on vista and hence my suggestion to consider a later version of NB.

    probably you allread have a sapdb installation in your PC. please make sure, that you did uninstall anything before.

  • Installation error NW2004s ABAP Trial Version

    Hi, i am getting constantly the following error(see the log file) while installing. My platform XP-SP2. I have ried many times with registry cleaning and a neat deinstallation(manual) etc., but of no avail! Can anybody please let me know what's wrong with my version. I also got CRC error while unRARing of the part1 RAR-zipped. I have dowloaded the trial version from the SDN. My log file is shown below:

    Hello,
    the extracted archive is not complete - some files are missing.
    I think it has something to do with the CRC errors you have already mentioned.
    So please try to re-download the archive from SAP.
    In the following thread you will also find download links for FTP --> [link|;
    Some other users had more luck with it than with the http download.

    I've just solved the problem. The problem was, our Listener was not configured correctly.
    I've adjusted the listener.ora, tnsnames.ora to the correct hostname - cause, we had a hostname-switch last month and I had forgotten to adapt the Listener...
    now the Listener is running as well:
