Installation Failed The download appears corrupted

I have been trying to download photoshop CC for 5 days. It always fails. with the exact same message: "Installation Failed the Download appears corrupted. Please try again after a few minutes. (-60).
I have chatted two to two help agents and spoke on the phone to another. Everything they have tried has failed. Then they tell me that they are going to escalate the problem and no one calls me back. When I call I get the same low level agent, who can't solve my problem and gets fed up with me only to tell me that they will "escalate" my problem. Escalate apparently means send me to a black hole.
Tonight agent, "Dashmip" told me that I could install Photoshop Cs6 and it would magically heal to CC. When this did not work, he told me that he would 'escalate'  problem. Why am I paying so much per month for a program that I can't install!
Can anyone out there help me?

    I have tried to install at different times over three different days with the same result each time. My version of Bridge now no longer shows DNG files except as an icon. The update is supposed to install Camera Raw version 9.

    I had the 204 version of your error using the direct download links proved on this thread solved my problem.. hope you have same success... had to log off/in cloud manager before it showed all apps updated

  • Photoshop CS6 will not install: "The download appears corrupt... (-60)."

    I've tried multiple times, but continue to get the same error.  I've been able to download and install Dreamweaver, InDesign, and Premiere Pro with any problems.

    I am experiencing the same problems on Mac OSX 10.7.3. I did have the CS6 Photoshop Beta installed prior to subscribing to the Creative Cloud, but uninstalled it per request of the Adobe Application Manager (Creative Cloud Client?). First few attempts of installing PS CS6, ended with "The download appears corrupt... (-60)". All of the other software programs that I needed installed fine.  Numerous restarts did nothing to help. I then ran the CS Cleaner Tool and removed all of CS6 and also CS5 from the computer, and rebooted. The next attempt resulted in an error code -4. After another reboot, I am back at "The download appears corrupt... (-60)". Restarting the computer does nothing to help.

    This only happens with Photoshop, all other applications downloaded fine. Ironically this is the one i need the most and tried to download/install first.
    I found that someone had the same issue a few month back. This person found a workaround:
    I think I found a workaround for it. I downloaded the trial version of Photoshop CS6 from the Adobe website, and installed it as a trial. At some point during the installation it did use my AdobeID. After the installation, it appears to be activated. The option to deactivate the software appears under the help menu. When clicking on this, it seems to have recognized my cloud subscription, and gives me the choice to deactivate. So, it appears to work. The Adobe Application Manager recognizes Photoshop as being installed, and all of the other programs I needed downloaded and installed just fine afterwards.
    However, that does not work for me either. The install of the trial version freezes.
    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    navigate to Disk utility->Preferences. Uncheck "verify checksums".

    Please see attached screen caps.  If I try as a trial I get an invalid checksum warning.  I also got a 102 yet I still have 200 gigs left on my drive.  When trying to download through adobe installer I get a corrupted file (-60) error.  What gives? I've been at this all afternoon. Same problems with Flash Builder.  Every other app installed fine, but I really need Premiere.

    I'm trying to download a few Adobe programs (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc) onto my new computer, and each time it fails, with a message saying that the download appears corrupted and to try again in a few minutes. I've tried uninstalling CC, reinstalling CC, restarting my computer, etc. Nothing is working. Is there a glitch somewhere? Any advice?

    Creative Cloud update fails with "the download appears to be corrupted" when tried through our company's firewall, but succeeds if the computer is taken outside the firewall. The IT guys have opened up the ports and URL's specified in the Adobe documentation.  I have also captured the network traffic of both the failed and successful downloads for IT to examine (using Little Snitch), however they can find nothing to account for the problem.  Adobe just seems to "give up and die" after about 2-3 minutes.  Why is this?  How can I or IT fix this?
    Can I send the above log files to someone familiar with these issues for examination?

    Thanks Jeff! So, it totally appears as if it was a network issue. The corporate network where I work is quite likely the culprit. Where I was thrown off is that since I have admin rights on my computer, I can install software. But using Adobe Application Manager to install Adobe software wasn't working. And to make matters worse, there didn't appear to be any way to install Acrobat Pro for Mac without using AAM. The workaround that I used previously was to install the trial versions of Adobe software, and then just register them using my username and password. But the workaround for being able to install everything using AAM was to bring my computer home and download from my home network.

    I have tried to install Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign onto 1 Windows XP computer and 2 Windows 7 computers and in every instance I have received the message "download appears corrupt.  U43M1D207 error.  I have combed the FAQ's and a lot of other mostly MAC users are receiving the same errors. 
    I have downloaded the Creative Suite cleaner and have used it multiple times on all the computers with the same failure over and over again. 
    I have also gone to Adobe Downloads and ran the patched Adobe Application Manager and still no luck. 
    In one FAQ a tech tells people to go to the trial versions and download those and then sign in and the subscription will appear.  On 3 of the computers this worked, but on the third computer I started today, the subscription box never showed up even though I logged on with the employee's cloud subscription ID. I downloaded three of the applications only to have to go back and un-install the applications because it asked to either run in trial or supply a serial number.
    On my fourth computer running Windows XP I downloaded Photoshop extended just fine and Illustrator, but there's no selection for InDesign, so I can't download it.
    Last night I sat on a chat session for 30 minutes only to find out that there were no tech's on duty only customer support and she said that I would need to call in on Mon-Fri.  I can't wait until Mon-Fri as I need to do this off hours.
    I'm at the end of my rope with aggravation and I have 7 more computers to go and they are scattered around the USA. 
    If anyone has any idea what may fix my dilemma I would surely appreciate it!  Thank you in advance.
    Update:  After getting away from the problem for awhile, I decided to clear the cache on both problem computers, run CCleaner and reboot.  I then went back to the Trial Download page and everything worked perfectly.  I could see InDesign on the Windows XP computer and on the Windows 7 computer the subscription box appeared.  I had my answer and everything appears to work properly now.
    I still don't understand why downloading from the Cloud site doesn't work especially since many of the problems I have been reading about in other threads were started back in May, 2012.
    Also I don't understand why when so many techs like myself have to work after hours and on weekends there are no Adobe techs on the chat line.  My company spent a lot of money on the new subscription and will continue to do so in the future and all I can find is work arounds instead of the Cloud download site actually being repaired.

    It's been many, many years since I don't do dual boot anymore. Don't find the reason to do it, either. Different kinds of virtualization should be enough. Anyway...
