Installation Failure for Mac 10.5.8 & Safari 5.0.6
I uninstalled the older Flash Player and downloaded the "Install_Flash_player_10_osx.dmg. Once the installation begins at about the 16% point a message pops up saying the installation failed. This is the error message:

Another member (sisko8989) has had the same problem and he followed the recommendations of those who replied. I have done the same ... to no avail.
Might deleting a Preferences file help? Not sure which to delete.

I bought PSE9 this summer (2011). According to the seller would PSE9 work to install for both Mac and PC. I installed on my pc which worked fine but now when I should install on my new Imac I discover that there are no installation cd for mac? Is there any change to install it from adobe and refer to my serienumber?
I bought it from one of the largest media store in Sweden called Onoff. Unfortunately, Onoff was bankrupt this summer so I can not go back.
If I look at the installation cd there are a windows logotype on it. Maybee this "PSE9 box" I bought is only for windows and the seller in the store didn't know. -
Photoshop CS4 Installer File for Mac
Hello,
I bought CS4 for mac (student edition, I am not sure if that matters) a couple of years ago and have since misplaced my disks, though I still have the serial numbers. Does anybody have the .dmg installer file for CS4? The file name MAY be photoshop_11_ls1.dmg. I realize this is a big file, so I am not sure the best way to get it to me, but I do have dropbox, or could it be possible to post it to this forum or mail me a dvd with the file on it? Thank you so much. I am desperately in need!!

Opening Safari for Mac Web Archives in Safari for Windows???
I need to open Safari for Mac Web Archives (saved html web pages on a Mac) on my Windows PC at work. Does anyone know how I can accomplish this? The original Web Pages are no longer available and the data in the Archives is the only set left.
I've tried opening the files with Safari for Windows but that doesn't work. I've also tried renaming the web archives from file.webarchive to file.html and that doesn't work either.
Does anyone out there have any suggestions for accomplishing this task??? Thanks in advance for your help!
YVIf you can move your archives to a Mac I think you can convert them to folders with Webarchive Folderizer and then move back to your pc:

I have a MacBook Pro running OS X 10.5.7, and an iPad 2 running iOS 6.1.3.
On the MAC, I have Firefox for MAC v 19.0.2 and Safari 6.0.3
On the iPad, I have only Safari for iPad. I always use Firefox as my browser for the MacBook, but there is no Firefox app for the iPad.
My Safari bookmarks automatically update from the MacBook to the iPad, but not from Firefox to the iPad. Is it possible for the automatic update to be made from Firefox instead of Safari to the iPad Safari.app? If not, is there an easy way on the MacBook to keep the Safari bookmarks up to date with the Firefox bookmarks, so that the iPad shares my Firefox bookmarks?
If not possible now, are you planning to make this possible for MAC users who also have an iPad?See:

CS6 installation failure for some applications
Windows 7.
After the installation process was complete I was notified that some of the applications failed to install:
Ps; Ai; Fl; Id.
An error list was provided with many cryptic reasons for failure, such as:
ERROR: DF037: Unable to delete directory "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw". Error 145 The directory is not empty.(Seq 956)
These are interesting, no doubt, but useless for helping me to solve the problems.
My question is: how can I get Adobe to help me with what seems to be an inadequate installation process?Hi Mylenium,

After connecting a Hanns.G HL269 monitor to my MacBook air I entered the disc for the Installation Guide for windows 7 that came with the monitor. Where canI obtain the installation guide for a Mac?
Those are two Q&A steps from the manufacturer's website. The first one indicating that the "driver" CD is not necessary. The second one is worth following to make sure the monitor is behaving properly. In addition you can go into System Preferences > Displays and then the Arrangement tab to see if the monitor responses from there.

CS3 Master Collection Installation Tips for Mac G4?
Hi,
I just acquired a copy of CS3 Master Collection, and I'm wondering if I should be aware of any concerns/trouble before installing InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat on my 400MHz PowerPC G4, OS X 10.4.11, 512 MB SDRAM.
I don't currently use the other programs in the collection, like Flash and DreamWeaver. At least, not at the moment.
Let me know your thoughts.

Platform: Mac Pro
OS: OS X 10.6.8
Browsers: Safari 5.1.1 and Firefox
The installation of Flash Player 12.0.0.44 fails at 95%, there is no error message of failure, the installation just stalls (Ihave left it for up to two hours). I have uninstalled the previous version of Flash Player and now tried twelve times downloading and installing with exactly the same results. USB Modem software installation failure on MAC OS X 10.8.5
i have a USB Modem Device ( Tata Photon+) manufactured by Huawei .One fine day it failed to connect to the net (citing a need t. on my MacBook pro mid 2012 model(OS X 10.8.5). I then o contact the service provider)the device did work on windows 7. i then uninstalled the software and tried reinstalling the software but installation failed.
The next day after i boot my mac it flashed a message saying that "Insecure startup item disabled" /Library/Startupitems/HwPortDetect and HwNetMgr
To which i 1st Moved all the data present in startupitems directory into trash repaired disk permissions and then restarted it.I moved those deleted elements back to startupitems. I restarted the machine but the message still persist on boot up. Finally i just deleted the items in startupitems folder and restarted the machine. The message stopped comming but still i am unable to install the software of my usb modem. please helpAnd I also tried to download the trial version, again with no luck.
