I would like to ask, is it possible to download CS4 files from server, if disc get corrupted?

ConfigMgr 2012 Agent Installation permanently failed with Error 1603

We have some clients, where the agent must be reinstalled. But it fails permanently with Error 1603. I have tried the following steps allready:
Delete the CCMSETUP and CCM Folder and start from scratch
Repair WMI by deleting root\ccm
Recreated the WMI Repository
Register all *.dll and *.mof in WBEM
Cleaned up with the ccmclean Tool
We use SCCM 2012 SP1 CU3
The error happens on Vista and Windows 7
From the logs, it looks that something went wrong with the ccmexec service, but I'm not sure. In the Eventlogs are some entries from the Search Service that the Service unexpectly stopped. But not much more.

CCMClean.exe is not supported for ConfigMgr 2012, but I guess that you know that :)
Have you tried 'ccmsetup.exe /uninstall', wait for it to complete and then install again?

PSE10 installation from disc 2 fails.

Each time I attempt to install PSE10 from disc 2 I get an error message saying "This application package could not be opened. Contact the vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package."

I’m using Windows 7, so I tried to install Photoshop 10 using Disc 2. Anyway, the problem was resolved. When the Photoshop install failed I decided to try to install Premiere. That worked flawlessly so I tried again to install Photoshop and it also installed without a hitch. The solution seems to be to install Premiere 10 first!

Based on the Java trouble shooting guide 'error 2150' indicates that a core service failed to start. http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/TechTSG/(JSTTSG)(Kernel)ExitCodes. Based on the threads below it could be Oracle listener related.

Hi all!
How can I exit from director with specifyed error code by
using lingo or JavaScript syntax?
I want to catch its error code in batch file for example to
do something special.
Sample batch file I want to use:
myprojector.exe
if %ERRORLEVEL% == 10 goto GO_TO_SOMETHING_WRONG
But now, by default director quit with error code 0.

I don't know of any way to do that, but you could get the
projector to
create a (zero byte) file if there's an error and in the
batch file check
for the existence of that file. (Not forgetting to delete
that file, if it
exists, when the projector starts.)

CS5.5 installation from disc, error(20), Windows 8.1

I am trying to install CS 5.5 from the installation disc on my new laptop (running Windows 8.1) but I keep getting the following error message: "The Setup encountered an error(20) during install. Please restart the machine and try again."
Restarting the machine multiple times has had no effect. Other forum discussions indicate that error(20) usually means that the downloaded files were not downloaded or extracted properly, but this is directly from the CD (which I successfully used on my old computer), so I don't know what the deal is.

CS4 Design Standard, installation from disc fails

Installation disc spins after clicking autorun, the nothing happens. While "nothing" happens, 25% of CPU is takenup with this activity.
Windows 7 on brand new Vaio Z laptop, plenty of space, plenty of muscle. I have previously installed (and removed) on PC with no problems.
Suggestions?

Copy contents to hard drive, or install after the copy is done and setup is started?
I will GUESS that a Windows Explorer of everything on a DVD to a hard drive location should take no more than 15-20 minutes... maybe less, if you have a fast DVD drive or maybe more if you have an old, slow drive
2 hours to install from DVD may be a bit long... but again, not knowing the speed of your drive, there is no way to tell if that "estimate" is going to be accurate or not
Installing from a hard drive location, after the copy from DVD is done, will be "somewhat" faster than directly from a DVD, due to the faster read speed of a hard drive... but do remember there is a LOT going on to install a large program
Also, the installer "estimate" is just that... an estimate... so if you really care, write down the start time and then the end time and come back to let us know the actual amount of time and a list of everything you installed

Installation from Windows with a'n closed Display

Hi, i have a big problem.
On my Macbook pro ist the display broken and i must install windows with an extern TFT. Under Mac OSX is that not a Problem, it switch to the extern display.
The installation-procedure from Windows activate the internal display (that was at me broken).
Is there any hints or tips, so that i can install Windows with bootcamp on an externeal display?

I doubt this is possible, and even if it was, it would not be advisable to use an OS that was installed on one computer, then move the installation to a computer with a different processor architecture. Doing that is asking for trouble.

Windows Server 2012R2 fails to get update from WSUS with error code 80072ee6

I've deployed WSUS role on a Windows Server 2012R2 machine. WSUS listen on port 8530. Now I'm trying a test server (this machine runs WIndows Server 2012R2 too). I've configured a GPO but when I try to check for updates I get the errore in the subject.

Image from drive with errors?

My MBA has taken a nose dive. The file system cannot be repaired according to the DU, and I am left with only being able to create a adisk image to recover my files.
Will a drive image also make copies of errors in the file system? In other words, am I just chasing my tail doing this?

It's a block copy of the source volume, so yes, the errors will be copied, but you may be able to recover missing files using specialied software such as Disk Warrior. If possible, make a file backup using the Finder or a third-party tool such as "Super Duper" or "Carbon Copy Cloner." Erase or replace the drive, then reinstall OS X and restore from that backup.

HT201413 My iphone shut down, I started the restore process as detailed by various other users. However the Iphone shuts down while restoring and when it switches back on I get message from Itunes with error 21. I now can't access the Iphone at all.

My Iphone started shutting down and switching back on by itself. After researching problem, lots of results pointed towards restoring phone. I commenced the process and all was going well until the phone shut down during the restore and Itunes then flagged up an error 21 code. I now am stuck as the phone is in restore mode but I can't stop it switching off during the process.

iTunes error code 21 is a security software conflict and the recommended knowledge base article for troubleshooting is: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3125 Check through that and see if it helps. If nothing works you may need to visit the Apple genius bar and have one of those people help clear it.

Disc with errors

If i click on "repare the disc" the installed programs are going to be deleted?

I assume that you are in Disk Utility>First Aid>Verify/Repair. User data will NOT be deleted.
