Installation indesigne cs6 cloud

Bonsoir,
lors du téléchargement et installation de indesign cs6 cloud, je reçois un message me disant que imageready.exe à 42% du téléchargement est présent alors que je ne le trouve pas, le téléchargement est donc bloqué...... Que faire?

    It happens after I open a file and try do just about anything, modify a photo, add text, move an object, the most basic tasks on simple one-page documents. I've tried all the recommendations I can find including verifying fonts, deleting preferences, checking for updates, etc. and though I've tried all those things, InDesign still won't allow me to do anything. I've spent all day trying to troubleshoot and I have I'm desperate to get it working. I have two major deadlines. Any help you can provide would be extremely appreciated!

  • How to fix InDesign CS6 cloud crashes while exporting to pdf?

    Hi My InDesign CS6 cloud crashes when exporting to pdf.
    It's a Mac Book Pro, OS X 10.7.4. It shows a blank warning, and then there is a long report, here is part of it. Even all my old files can't be exported to pdf. Can any one help?

    Indeed. To be more specific, typically program execution begins in a main() function, which calls some other function (say, to handle menu selections), which calls some other function (whatever menu function the user chose), which calls some other function, etc., etc., perhaps 30 or 40 functions deep.
    Because of the way C++ calling conventions work, the history of which function called which other function is preserved in a data structure known as the stack. (The stack also does other things). Under normal circumstances, this "stack trace" is reconstructed to form the crash report.
    There is one stack trace for each thread (parallel execution components of the program), but the thread that crashed is usually the only one of interest.
    In this case, thread 0 crashed. Its stack trace is meaningless. It contains two stack frames (e.g. functions). At the top, the most recent function is called _XHNDL_trapback_instruction, which is a pseudo address that basically tells us nothing, other than there was some sort of fault.
    But typically we will see what function called that top function; and the function that called that; etc., etc.
    In your case we do not. Allegedly the crashing code was called from the address 4294967295, or in hexadecimal 0xffffffff. And that is the largest number that a 32-bit word can hold. It is, sadly, garbage.
    So your stack trace tell us zilch

  • Silent Installation InDesign CS6 mit Retail Key

    ich versuche schon seit etlichen Stunden, Adobe InDesign CS6 mit einem Retail Key im Hintergrund zu installieren.
    Der Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition ist für das Erstellen eines MSI Pakets leider nicht geeignet, da es sich hier um einen Retail Key handelt und nicht um eine Volumenlizenz.
    Bisher habe ich alle CS4 und CS5 /CS5.5 Produkte über die Setup.exe bzw Set-up.exe lautlos installieren können.
    Bei CS6 Produkten scheint dies nicht mehr möglich.
    Ich rufe die Set-up.exe mit folgenden Parametern auf:
    set-up.exe --mode=silent --deploymentFile="%_deploymentFile%" --overrideFile="%_application_xml_override%"
    Wobei für die Variable %_deploymentFile% der vollständige und richtige Pfad zur install.xml beinhaltet und %_application_xml_override% den vollständigen Pfad zur application.xml.override Datei.
    Der Inhalt der application.xml.override Datei sieht folgendermaßen aus (Lizenzschlüssel mit X unerkenntlich gemacht)

    Dass Problem ist jetzt, dass die Installation nicht serialisiert wird, das heißt die Seriennnummer wird nicht verwendet, stattdessen wird der Trial Key benutzt und InDesign startet in der 30Tage Testversion.
    Die application.override.xml Datei wird aber vom Setup richtig erkannt und die Einstellungen wie Unterdrückung der EULA, Registrierungs, Updates funktioniert auch prima.
    Auch in der cache.db wird die Retail Seriennummer sauber aufgenommen.
    Mir ist bewusst, dass man sich beim ersten Start der Anwendung, sich mit der Adobe-ID anmelden muss, die Seriennummer sollte er sich doch aber aus der cache.db bzw. aus der application.xml im Ordner "\Adobe Indesign CS6\AMT" holen.
    Somit, muss ich nochmal die Seriennummer eingeben + mich mit der Adobe-ID anmelden.
    Hat jemand schon Erfahrung mit der lautlosen Installation von InDesign CS6 mit einem Retail Key gemacht?
    Ich könnte wirklich Hilfe benötigen. Danke.

  • "Can not Save file name " InDesign CS6 - Cloud---WTF!

    Hello anyone
    This new Cloud Adobe CS6 is SO buggy.
    not my first issue with it...
    I am using
    Cloud version of - but locally installed
    Trial version of CS6 InDesign.
    iMac - mountain lion 10.8.1
    i7/12Gig RAM. SSD, and 1 T platter drive.
    Anyway-
    After many HOURS of InDesign work.
    Many pages, lots of stuff.
    I exported my work as PDF to send to my boss. Worked fine.
    But I can't save the working file.
    All Save menu items are grayed out.
    The astericks is there in the window title.
    When I just close the file- I am prompted to Save the file or lose my work.
    I hit Save and get window
    "can not save filename"
    with no error code.
    NOTHING!
    This has happened twice. First time not a lot had been done to the file.
    So I just re-started the iMac
    This time I stand to lose some real work here.
    Does this happen if I just use the free version!?!?!?!?
    I will happily pay after my trial but if this is what the new CS6 has in store, then screw Adobe.
    Can anyone help me???

    There's no difference in fuctionality between paid and free versions.
    There are two things worth trying, if you haven't already closed and lost the file. The first is to export to .idml, open that and see if you can save it with a new name: Remove minor corruption by exporting
    The second is riskier as it depends on ID's amazing file recovery after a crash. If the method above fails you haven't got a lot to lose, though, so here here's the next thing I would try:
    Force Quit Indesign. See Replace Your Preferences and use the manual method to replace the InDesign Defaults and InDesign SavedData files (and while you're at it, make a backup copy of the InDesign Recovery folder). Also see Adobe Forums: InDesign crashes at startup and delete the additional files in John's post. If you need to delete or copy hidden files and don't know how to access them, see Access hidden user library files | Mac OS 10.7 Lion
    When all that is done, restart InDesign. With luck, autorecovery will open the file again with not much missing and you can try to save it.

  • In InDesign CS6/Cloud, is it possible to link selected text on one page to a separate page, or even to an object on a separate page?

    I have an InDesign layout with multiple pages. The layout involves text and images, and there are text references for those images, that end up a page or two behind the image itself. What I'd like to know is if I can select certain text (for example, I want to select the number 3 in the text "Image 1 on page 3") and link it to a specific page, or to the actual placed image for "Image 1", so that if I have to re-paginate the layout later, the number 3 in the text will automatically change to a 2 or a 4, much like the functionality of page numbers. Let me know if my question isn't clear enough. Thanks!

    This will work if you all use the file syncing of the Creative Cloud desktop application and then you use the Collaborate option for the folder containing all the files. Then it will work on each of your desktops.
    Links to files will not work in the browser when viewing the InDesign document from https://creative.adobe.com/files.

    While updating Indesign I keep getting: "The download appears corrupted. Press Cancel, wait a few minutes & try again (U43M1D205) but it never works, this is going on for months now, I am running a Macbook Pro 10.8.2

    Fontbook --> Status prüfen. Verdächtige Fonts werden markiert. Ansonsten eben einfach alles rausschmeißen, was aktuell nicht gebraucht wird und nur die Minimalbesetzung aus Betriebssystemfonts, dann Stück für Stück selektiv wieder neue Schriften hinzu.

  • Can only open .indd files within InDesign CS6

    I am using InDesign CS6 (cloud version) on Windows XP. I can only open .indd files by opening InDesign CS6, doing File>Open, and then browsing for the file.
    If I try to go to the folder where the .indd file is located (without opening InDesign CS6), and double-click on it, it acts like it doesn't know what kinf of file it is.
    Another co-worker of mine is experiencing the same thing on Windows 7.
    Does anyone have suggestions on what to try to fix this?

    Uninstall, run the clean tool (CS Cleaner Tool for installation problems | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3), and reinstall. The symptoms you describe are typical if the icon handler .dll file is damaged.
    Try turning off your anti-virus and spyware scanners, and anthing else not required to run the system before you reinstall.

  • Indesign cs6, smart guides on, transform not proportional

    i use my smart guides a lot. i have found that when i go to transform an image using the direct select tool, and the cmd+shift function, the percentage of the scale is not consistant on teh x and y axis (they should be the same). i do have the "constrain proportions" active. i have tested without them being active. it seems, so far, the only time i can recreate the issue is when the smart guides are active.
    -osx 10.8.3
    -indesign cs6 (cloud subscription)
    -smart guides on
    -transform window open
    -constrain proportions active
    -direct select tool
    -select image within a frame with direct select tool (white arrow tool)
    -use shift+cmd and drag and scale, repeat (small and large areas)
    -repeat a few times and watch the horizontal and vertical percentages in the transform window. percentages will not be consistent after a few tries
    does anyone else have this issue?
    can anyone else recreate this issue?
    does anyone have any suggestions on a fix (other than turning off the smart guides)?

    okay, i finally figured this bad boy out! here is the solve in case you guys come across the problem
    -indesign cs6, go to preferences>guides and pasteboard
    -go to "smart guide options"
    -turn OFF "smart dimensions" and "smart spacing"
    all is well with the world, and i can sleep peacefully once again

    I've uninstalled InDesign CS6 (cloud membership)... downloaded reinstalled through the cloud app, installed without errors, but i'm missing menu items/windows and its driving me crazy.... do i need to reinstall again?
    missing stroke, but it can get to the weight by the contextual menu
    missing the object text box menu item (forget what its actually caused)
    little things like that

         created a new user account everything was there...
         logged back in as my own account manually removed Adobe folders (and files) in Application Support, Saved Application State, & Prefs for the User...
         restarted and launched, everything is back
         I tried ditching each one at a time and that didn't work, had to trash everything at once, so somewhere it was picking up somethat that wasn't right.
    p.s. Edit>Menus where all turned on, resetting the workspaces didn't make a difference either... weird

  • Plantage d'InDesign (CS6 et CC) au démarrage - Quelqu'un pour me sortir de cette horreur ?

      Je me permets de poster un topic sur ce forum (pour la première fois) car j'ai un gros problème urgent (je dois rendre un travail mardi soir au plus tard) auquel je ne trouve pas de solution depuis 2 jours.
      Je bossais sur InDesign CS6 depuis quelques mois, tout allait bien puis avant-hier, plantage pendant que je travaillais sur un document. Message d'erreur : "Adobe InDesign a cessé de fonctionner". Je tente de relancer le fichier, idem. Plantage au démarrage. Je réinstalle InDesign CS6, aucun changement.
      J'apprends alors qu'Adobe a sorti une nouvelle version : InDesign CC. Je télécharge la version d'essai et essaie d'ouvrir différents fichiers, idem ! "Adobe InDesign a cessé de fonctionner" >____<
      Après moult recherches (car a priori, je ne suis pas le seul dans ce cas), j'apprends que ça pourrait provenir :
    - de polices ajoutées qui auraient des noms étranges : il n'en est rien et au cas où, j'ai même formaté mon Windows aujourd'hui... dans le vent :/
    - d'histoires d'autorisations et de préférences : je n'ai pas trop compris ce truc-là, si quelqu'un a des infos et une procédure à suivre, je suis preneur
    - de plugins à ajouter à partir d'un lien sur le site officiel (avec un fichier nommé CopyPlugins.vbs) : l'opération d'installation se déroule sans encombre mais aucun changement malheureusement
    - du logiciel InDesign CC qui ne serait pas à jour : ce n'était pas mon cas.
      Pour info, voici ce que j'ai fait jusqu'à aujourd'hui (en plus de ce qui est cité ci-dessus) :
    - j'ai essayé d'ouvrir mes différents fichiers (créés sous CS6) sur un InDesign CC d'essai installé sur un autre ordinateur (celui de ma chérie) --> idem, plantage au démarrage
    - voyant que mon fichier était assez lourd (presque 1 Go), j'ai essayé avec un autre plus léger --> idem, plantage au démarrage
    - j'ai transféré mon fichier à un ami qui est sous InDesign CS5.5 pour qu'il essaie de l'ouvrir --> on lui demande d'actualiser sa version du logiciel...
      Ma config' PC pour information :
    - OS : Windows 8 pro
    - RAM : 6 Go
    - DD : SSD 256Go + 2x2To
    - CM : X58A-UD3R de Gigabyte
    - CG : Geforce GTX460
      J'espère que quelqu'un pourra me venir en aide car je ne sais vraiment plus quoi faire et suis sûr que cette nuit, je vais être hanté par cette phrase : "Adobe InDesign a cessé de fonctionner"... J'ai même commencé à regarder sur internet s'il y avait des salles sur Paris où on peut travailler sur InDesign -____-

    ok, si tu as essayé le restore de préférences par la commande au démarrage : Cmd+shift+ctrl+alt et que tu as eu la fenêtre de restaure de tes préférences et que rien n'y fait...
    Une soluce à fonctionné pour moi pour recupérer mon indesing cs6 (photoshop et illustration, audio étaient tous en place nickel). Je n'ai pas récupéré mon indesign CC 2014... mais déjà c'est pas mal

    1 - sur ton finder tu ouvres une fenêtre ou un dossier / tu va dans le menu du haut “aller“ ou commande + shift+ g et copier coller : ~/library
    quand tu y est tu repère le dossier “PRÉFÉRENCES“ PAS UN AUTRE, tu dois avoir "pref panes" juste avant.., là c'est juste préférences.
    accèdes aux informations par click droit/lire les infos ou commande “i“ .
    2 - sur la nouvelle fenêtre qui c'est ouverte et que vous connaissez bien :
    on déverrouille le cadenas en bas à droite. on rentre ses identifiant OSX.
    S'il n'y a pas d'admin... clicker sur le petit plus en bas à gauche et rajoutez-le - ULTRA IMPORTANT
    mettez tous les 3 : admin, staff et everyone sur lecture et écriture et ensuite tu referme ton cadenas en bas à droite.
    3 - tu revient sur ton Finder et ré-ouvre un dossier quelconque / tu va dans le menu du haut “aller“ ou commande + shift+ g et copier coller : ~/library/Application support
    tu fais la même que plus haut (2) : déverrouilles, change les permissions, referme ton cadenas
    4 - dernière étape :

  • After buying Adobe Premiere from the cloud, installation by (Adobe service), my InDesign CS6 quits on startup. Need help, Adobe doesn't want to fix this.

    If you buy a cloud application while you have a totally legal Creative Suite Premium 6 it might stop working. Adobe made the installation by taking control of my computer. The girl did not seemed totally well trained... my opinion and right after that my InDesign stopped working!!! Now my If I call to get help they send you here because they don't want to spend money fixing that problem. So, I wonder if it's a good idea  to buy a new application from the cloud if you already are a good customer. It's probably safer to buy other CS6 or CS5 versions if you already have some. Otherwise you might be stuck to buy the entire package through the cloud even if you don't need the last versions. To solved my problem, I erased the applications with all the preferences on the second time around, reinstalled everything and InDesign still quits on startup. I have the same setup at home but this one does work.

  • Can't Install Illustrator CS6 or InDesign CS6 - Installation Failed

    Since I joinded Adobe Creative Cloud, I've been trying to install some of the app available on the Adobe Application Manager.
    I've had a lot of trouble with installs especially wiht AI CS6 and InDesign CS6.
    Both won't install after downloading.

    I contacted Adobe Live help without any success.
    They said to try to reinstall with a new user on my computer (which I did) and as I expected it didn't work.
    I also red on the forum about maybe trying to download the Trials and that my Adobe ID would update those to full version but the installs also failed there.
    I'm running OSX 10.7.3.
    I used to have CS5 installed on my computer.
    Now only Adobe Photoshop CS6 and Dreamweaver CS6 got installed.
    Anyone have an idea what's happenning?

    Hi batdelfuego,
    Try the below solution and check if you are able to install the software without the error.
    Navigate to: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/PDFL/10.9/Fonts/
    To find Library open Finder click on Go > Go to Folder and type in /Library and click on OK.
    Delete the Font by the name AdobeFanHeitiStd-Bold.otf
    Next open Font Book.
    To open Fonts Book do a search in Spot Light for Fonts Book
    Check if AdobeFanHeitiStd-Bold.otf is present, if it is present delete it from Fonts Book too.
    Once you do that try installing the software.
    Hope it works.

  • Trouble Downloading Indesign CS6 etc through Creative Cloud

    I was wondering if anyone could help me out.
    I have a creative cloud account and have downloaded previous pieces of software including Indesign CS6. I was having launch issues with Indesign (on OS Mountian Lion) so deleted the package via app zapper. Now within the files and apps creative download/upload section I am unable to download any apps. Has anyone else had this problem? Unfortunately in Adobe Applications Manager it see Indesign as installed.
    The other problem is that I've just noticed my Adobe Application Manager appears to longer be installed. It looks like Adobe Download Assistant has overwritten it? Maybe?

    We really apologize for all the inconvinience you have faced.
    There seems to leftover data remaining in different places on you system which is not allowing the applications to reinstall on the pc.
    I would suggest please follow the manual cleanup steps & Run the Adobe CS Cleaner Tool given in the knowledgebase document below:
