Installation issue with Weblogic610sp1_sol.bin for solaris platform?

Hi,
I have downloaded weblogic610sp1_sol.bin file for solaris platform and when i try to install, its is preparing to install & executing the file but suddenly throws an error saying
" error: can't find libjava.so."
Even i tried with other versions of weblogic also...
But same problem.....
I have installed jdk1.3.1 for solaris. I am able to install other java related programs & it is running successfully.
Any idea...
Thanks,
Dinesh.

Hi.
Can you verify that the size of the file you downloaded is 90,941,843? Also post the checksum of the file. What version of Solaris are you installing on? Most folks having this problem
have a corrupted bin file.
Thanks,
Michael

  • Installation Issues with Win XP

Hi, how are all of you? I am having installation issues with
Windows XP. Every time I double click the Adobe Air installer, it
says, "Installer encounters an error and need to be close"
I have tried on three different PC. All giving same error. I
downloaded the installer many time from adobe site but nothing
    works.
    Windows XP SP2
    512MB RAM
    Pentium IV 2.4 GHz Processor
Any suggestion or help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,

Hello Tzeng, thank you for your reply. I could not get to the

  • OpenSSH 4.4p1 packages with PAM support for Solaris 9, 10

As mentioned in a previous post* , I've compiled OpenSSH packages with PAM support for Solaris 9 and 10. They've since been updated to version 4.4p1, and are compiled against a static zlib (1.2.3) and OpenSSL (0.9.8c). You can find them here:
    http://firewallworks.com/downloads/unsupported/Solaris-sparc/
    Regards,
    Greg
    * http://forum.sun.com/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=103378&tstart=105

Yes, zlib 1.2.3 is a requirement. In facts, zlib mentions a 2005 vulnerability fix but I found no matching patch in sunsolve. See
    http://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/id/JGEI-6E7RC3
I have been wandering whether to replace the official zlib. Linking statically is probably a better idea. Thanks

  • I have an issue with disappearing option for 1920x1080 in Preferences / Displays.

Recently updated to 10.9 - have all updates installed - Mid 2010 iMac 21.5.
I have an issue with disappearing option for 1920x1080 in Preferences / Displays. - After overnight shutdown, my iMac woke up and the screen resolution of my 2nd was set at 800 x 600 - the display a Samsung S22B150 was previously working properly at 1920 x 1080.  This option is no longer available in the system preferences - highest resolution available 1600 x 1200.
I use my mMac for Photography and use the second monitor for the interface, leaving the iMac screen as a full work area for the photos.
    I have tried:
    Power down Monitor & restart
    Shutdown & restart
Shutdown & restart in Safe Boot Mode (options same in Prefs)
Power down Monitor & restart in Safe Boot Mode
Ran Disc Utility - Repaired Permissions, verified both HDD & Mac OSX
    Udated Pram
I am now at a loss, I guess I could try a recovery, and download/install  Mavericks again, but do not wish to do this if I can help it.
I have searched the net to see if there are any Terminal commands to enable the resolution, but can find nothing.
Anyone out there have any ideas, please.

Back up all data. Quit System Preferences if it's running.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it, then copy the text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:
    ~/Library/Preferences/ByHost
    In the Finder, select
    Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar. Paste into the box that opens (command-V), then press return. A folder should open. If it does, look for a file with a long name that begins "com.apple.preference.displays2". There may be several such files. Move them to the Trash.
    Test.

  • Issue with Visibility Settings for Backgrounds and Layers

I am using Acrobat Pro XI 11.0.10 (Windows) and having an issue with visibility settings for layers and backgrounds. I am attempting to get backgrounds to appear while viewing in Adobe Reader and Acrobat Pro but not be printed and so far have had no success.
When using a background the Appearance Options dialogue has "Show when printing" unchecked, but "Show when displaying on screen" is checked. This results in the background not showing on the screen, and the background will only appear once the box for "Show when printing" is checked. It looks like the option for printing is dictating whether or not the background is able to appear.
Using layers has not worked either. The background layer is set to "Never Prints", but will still show up when printed.
I was wondering if anyone else has run into this and has a solution, or has any recommendations.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi setrev2012,
How are you adding the backgroud?
The only way I can think to accomplish this is via a watermark.
    The basics...
Open PDF in Acrobat. Choose Pages > Watermark > Add Watermark.
Select a jpg or PDF of your background and adjust scaling options as desired.
Then click the Appearance Options.. and uncheck the Show When Printing option.
In this image the PDF is a blank page with the word "Test" on it. The watermark is the stamp and impression (a stock photo jpg).
If you want a solid color background, just create a flat image of the background color for use as the watermark.
If you have already followed the steps and still facing the issue then please share the file with me at [email protected] so that i can have a look.
    Regards,
    Rave

  • Is ODI available for Solaris platform?

    Hi,
I would like to know is there ODI available for Sun Solaris platform. I found in the installation document it says it is compatible with Sun Solaris. But I dont find any downloadbles available sun Solaris Platform.
In the Installation Document i found like
    Minimum System Requirements:
This configuration is typically for 2 Oracle Data Profiling/Quality users and an overnight data
    quality processing load.
     2 GB RAM
Disk space depends on the data processes, we recommend 1,5 GB plus 2 to 5 times the size
    of the data sources.
     Operating Systems:
    UNIX:
     AIX 5L (v5.1, 5.2, and 5.3)
     Solaris 8, 9 or 10
     HP-UX 11.i V1 (PA RISC), HP-UX 11.i V2 (IA64)
Linux Red Hat Enterprise Linux 2.1 and above
    Windows:
Windows: Windows 2000 Server with SP 3
Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition with SP 1 (32 bit)ux Suse Version 9.2 Professional and above
so can I install ODI for unix in Solaris

    Hi-
You can use below manual installation proceeds as follows :
Step 1. Download a setup for Windows and run it on a Windows machine.
Step 2. Once the setup is finished, FTP all the following files and folders from your Windows machine to you Sun Solaris server :
the entire 'bin' folder (excepting the '.bat' files) - ASCII transfer mode
the entire 'lib' folder - BINARY transfer mode
the entire 'drivers' folder - BINARY transfer mode
Step 3. Once you have transferred all the files, do not forget to configure the odiparams.sh file according to your environment. Also add the appropriate files, used by ODI to connect to your technologies, to the 'drivers' folder.
    Does it helpful?

  • Issues with Creative Cloud for teams deployment workflow

The Adobe Creative Cloud for teams IT Deployment Guide lists out steps for IT admins to deploy the CS6 applications and then have their end-users license the trial software with their Adobe IDs once they have been invited to the team. There are two major issues with this document.
First, the media that is on the FTP is not for North American English. We are working to get that posted on the FTP site ASAP. In the meantime, you can find the CS6 MC media from: http://www.adobe.com/downloads/
[Note: Getting media from that page requires the use of the Adobe Download Assistant which is very consumer focused. Sorry about that.]
Second, in order to have the ability to login properly with a Creative Cloud for Teams account the system needs to have the latest copy of Adobe Application Manager installed. If you do not do this step the end user will be prompted for a serial number.
Unfortunately the Adobe Application Manager can’t be packaged with AAMEE nor is it a native installer. I know, I know! Here are the links to the Adobe Application Manager installers:
    Windows: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4773
    Mac: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4774
It can be installed from command line by:
    Win: <Path to Setup.exe>Set-up.exe –mode=silent –action=install
    Mac: <path to ASU> /ASU/Install.app/Contents/MacOS/Install –mode=silent –action=install
Jody Rodgers | Sr. Product Manager | Creative Cloud for Enterprise | Adobe Systems

    Hi Boncker,
I see that you have an active Subscription under your account . Please launch any of the installed product and when you get the trial prompt , please click on License this software and then Enter the Adobe Id & Password for the account that you have accepted the invite .
Please do let us know if that worked for you or not .

  • Bootcamp windows 8.0 pro installation issue with early 2015 Macbook Pro

I am having this issue with installing Windows 8.0 pro (and 8.1 pro) on my early 2015 MacBook pro vs. Bootcamp. I have tried different method for  multiple times and all failed. Any help is appreciated.
Hardware: (1) early 2015 MacBook Pro with 128GB (13 inches) , (2) Sony USB DVD burner. (3) Two 16 gb flash drive 2.0 version from two different manufactures
Software: (1) 8.0 Pro ISO on flash drive from Microsoft (I have two copies) (2) 8.1 Pro downloaded from Microsoft website.
Note -  I was able to download the bootcamp supporting files successfully and copy to a USB flash drive.
Method 1 - Create the installation disk from ISO on flash drive and also tried copying ISO on hard drive (desktop)- failed.
    I have a 16 GB flash drive (2.0V) connected
ISO is a valid 8.0 pro copy from Microsoft came on a flash drive.
I have the windows 8.0 pro ISO on a flash drive and plugged in.
Issue -  It gets to around 50% of "Copying Windows files..." and then doesn't go any further.  8 hours later, still stuck at around 50%.  I also tried to do the copy ISO from desktop. failed as well.
Method 2 - I repeat the above steps with Windows 8.1 ISO downloaded Microsoft website - failed. Stuck at 50% copying windows file for 9 hours.
Method 3 - I burned the Windows 8.0 pro ISO to a DVD and try to do the installation through a DVD instead.  DVD was successfully created.
I was able to perform the partition.  When the computer reboots, it starts the window installation. However, it got stuck at 7% forever. I tried this multiple times and failed.
Method 4 - I download a 8.1 Pro ISO from Microsoft website, I burned it to a DVD. Repeat method 3,  Again, windows installation stuck at 7%.
Method 5 - I called Apple. - What they told me is pretty much repeat the above steps. Still failed.

The ISO file(s) being downloaded seem to be corrupted. Can you use Microsoft FCIV tool - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/841290?wa=wsignin1.0 ?
The DVDs should be burnt at the recommended rate for the physical media. DU should be used for burning the DVDs.

  • Any Invalid Serial Number Installation Issue With PSE 12 - PE 12 Windows or Mac ?

    http://forums.adobe.com/message/5711110#5711110
Today I went from Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 tryouts to the purchased boxed versions that came with two installation discs. One of the discs was for Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 Windows and the other for these versions on Mac.
On Windows 7 Professional SP1 64 bit desktop computer, I was hit with Invalid Serial Number for the installation of Photoshop Elements 12 which I did first. Tried 4X, double and triple checking to make sure this was not "user error". It was not. On the 5th try, the purchased serial number was accepted and the installation went to a successful completion.
Tonight a friend alerted me to reports of similar happening for a lot of Photoshop Elements 12 Mac users. See the link posted at the top of my post.
At no time did I see this problem with Premiere Elements 12 installation from the same disc as for Photoshop Elements 12 installation.
Afterward, I installed these programs with the same installation disc on my laptop computer Windows 8 64 bit, I did not have any problems with either installation.
At this time, I do not know if this Invalid Serial Number is elusive to Photoshop Elements 12 or not.
If anyone is experiencing this problem with Premiere Elements, please let us know.
From the link above, it would appear that Adobe is working on the issue.
    Thanks.

    shikha
    Thanks for the reply.
In my case, I had the network firewalls and anti-virus disabled when I did the installs of Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 on Windows 7 64 bit as well as Windows 8 64 bit.
I was fortunate in that a 5th try of the serial number entry for the Photoshop Elements 12 install on Windows 7 64 bit was successful, so I did not have to do the computer restart and retry of the install with the purchased serial number. But, good to keep in mind, just in case.
It is ironic...last time around I got caught up in the Shared Technologies issues with Photoshop Elements 11 and Premiere Elements 11 on Windows 8 64 bit, not Windows 7 64 bit. But, in that case, I did find my way eventually to a successful install on Windows 8 64 bit. This time around it was Windows 7 64 bit where the glitch occurred, but, for me, only for Photoshop Elements 12.
But, could you clarify...are you generalizing that Photoshop Elements 12 Mac Invalid Serial Number is due to server issues and Invalid Serial Number encountered by Photoshop Elements 12 Windows is  "online - due to some firewall or network issues"?
Just getting prepared for if and when more questions on Invalid Serial Number might pop up in this forum.
    Thanks.

  • A weird installer issue with xcode

This is a new macbookpro i bought only a few weeks ago. I installed xcode on it, then removed it due to the fact that i needed to put some really huge hd video files, which needed all the hard disk space i could muster. After moving the videos from my mbp to my external hd, i tried to install xcode again. However, xcode's mpkg won't open, no matter how many times i open it with installer. Other mpkgs and pkgs work fine. What's the problem?

Hi rhonnywhoop, and welcome to the Dev Forum!

There's no such thing as a weird issue with Xcode after an uninstall-install again cycle. Almost anything can go wrong and weird is the rule, not the exception. But yes, most of the strange problems show up after the installation (e.g., Xcode won't open, Xcode starts up but gcc always fails, Interface builder won't read nib files, etc., etc.). If I needed disk space for a video, I'd probably get another drive before I'd uninstall Xcode, but then I use Xcode all the time. Plus it's too late for that advice, so I'll try my best to point you in the right direction.
    A few questions:
    1) Was there any message when the mpkg failed to open? Please post any such message for us;
    2) Did you install from the DVD that came with your MacBook, or did you download a dmg from the Mac or iPhone Dev Center? If you haven't tried downloading the latest Xcode version yet, that might be worth trying;
    3) Did you uninstall from Terminal, using the command given in the Xcode doc (e.g. /Developer/"About Xcode Tools.pdf"? If not, how did you uninstall the prior Dev Tools?
    4) Is any entry made in one of your logs at the time of the failure? E.g., open Console.app (in /Applications/Utilities) and look for the most recent entries in install.log and system.log. If you find anything like that, please post it for us;
    5) Have you tried any additional cleanup besides the recommended uninstall (question 3, above)? Based on case histories in this and other forums, the most powerful trick is to rename /Developer (e.g. to /OldDev). Other tips will be found by searching on terms like "uninstall" or "clean" in this forum.
In general, we can assume that since your previous installation was successful, the game is to restore your system to its past condition. This may seem like a no-brainer, but it might help to rule out irrelevant conditions as you try one thing after another. In fact, some developers have cleaned up by re-installing the entire system (needless to say, be sure to try restarting your system before resorting to anything that drastic!). On the other hand, some developers have reported that installing a more recent version of the Dev Tools (if any), can clean up a problem when repeated installs of the same system fail.
I hope something above will lead you to a solution. Several other developers who regularly contribute to this forum know much more than I do about installation problems. For example, if etresoft joins this thread, be sure to follow his instructions completely and before any others.

  • Grid installation issue with GNS - 12c on oel6

I am trying to install the Grid (CW) for 12c on oel 6, on 2 nodes, using *static configuration*, for a flex cluster.
My nodes are all running dnsmasq as DNS, and the /etc/hosts file is edited to be the same on them. The public/private/VIP/scan addresses are all resolvable (I have checked them all using 'nslookup'). I do *NOT* have DHCP (as I am going with static configuration).
The grid installation wizard fails, once running root scripts, and trying to start ora.gns service:
    PRCR-1079 : Failed to start resource ora.gns
    CRS-2674: Start of 'ora.gns' on 'ol6-121-rac1' failed
CRS-2632: There are no more servers to try to place resource 'ora.gns' on that would satisfy its placement policy
    2015/02/16 19:45:20 CLSRSC-107: Start of GNS failed
    2015/02/16 19:45:21 CLSRSC-287: FirstNode configuration failed
I am using the following settings, in the installation wizard, for the GNS:
    > Custer name:        ol6-121-cluster
    > SCAN Name:        ol6-121-scan
    > GNS VIP Address:        ol6-121-rac1-vip
    > GNS Sub Domain:        ol6-121.localdomain
and here is the contents of /etc/hosts is as following: (public and private addresses are already assigned to different NICs on each machine, and the machines can ping each other's public/private addresses successfully):
    # Public
    192.168.56.101   ol6-121-rac1.localdomain        ol6-121-rac1
    192.168.56.102   ol6-121-rac2.localdomain        ol6-121-rac2
    # Private
    192.168.1.101   ol6-121-rac1-priv.localdomain   ol6-121-rac1-priv
    192.168.1.102   ol6-121-rac2-priv.localdomain   ol6-121-rac2-priv
    # Virtual
    192.168.56.103   ol6-121-rac1-vip.localdomain    ol6-121-rac1-vip
    192.168.56.104   ol6-121-rac2-vip.localdomain    ol6-121-rac2-vip
    # SCAN
    192.168.56.105   ol6-121-scan.localdomain ol6-121-scan
    192.168.56.106   ol6-121-scan.localdomain ol6-121-scan
    192.168.56.107   ol6-121-scan.localdomain ol6-121-scan
I am just wondering what could be missing here which causes the problem ?
    - Do I need to start/set anything specific for VIP or SCAN addresses ? (As with the static configuration, domain delegation is not happening to CW).
    - Or is there anything wrong/missing with the cluster name or GNS sub domain ?
Any help or hint would be highly appreciated.

  • Installation issues with PrE 9 require OS restore!!!

I have run into two issues when attempting to install the trail versoin of PrE 9.  One of the issues is severe enough that it required a system restore.
    1) PrE cannot complete installation because MSXML 6 fails to install.
    2) PrE rolls back the installation and this causes a corruption of all installed installations.
...1) the issue seems to be for those of us who already have MSXML 6 service pack 2 installed.  PrE should not be attempting to downgrade MSXML from service pack 2 -- which it apparently is trying to do.  MSXML is system protected in XP SP3 and actually can't even be un-installed.  MSXML was installed as part of Microsoft's Visual Studio application.  I'm not sure when the service pack was installed but you can see more by looking into Microsoft KB954459.
...2) When the rollback begins, I start getting dialogs asking me to 'configure' an application.  The dialogs disappear and reappear multiple times.  This behavior continues when the rollback is completed.  You cannot shut down the computer with these dialogs on the screen as the system prevents a shutdown.  I tried to cancel after watching the screen for 30 minutes.  Finally, I started to kill applications.  I was able to reboot.
When the system came back up, the configuration dialog appeard every time I would run a new application.  For most of the applications, the configuration would complete and the dialog would not appear again when the program is re-launched.  However, several applications were corrupted (probably because I was killing the tasks to configure them to get my system to reboot).
I made a backup of my complete system prior to installing PrE.  I was able to restore to a state prior to installing PrE without issue (thank you Acronis!)
I realize there are millions of different system configurations.  You may want to take some extra precautions if you do have KB954459 installed on your system!
I'm looking forward to a resolution of this issue and will provide any additional information as required.
In the end, I would like to install a 'real' version on my video editing workstation which is running Vista and may not have this issue.  However, I would really like to take it for a test drive on my other system first as it is far easier to 'protoect' a 80 GB hard drive than a system with multiple (and larger) drives.

Ouch. You should file a bug report with Adobe asap. Adobe - Feature Request/Bug Report Form

  • [SOLVED] Post installation issues with KDE 4.7.0

I reinstalled my machine (DELL Studio 540 PC) with Arch Linux 64 bit. I did an install using LVM2 and RAID (have 2 500 GB drives in my machine). Everything went fine with the installation and bootloader (grub2) but I'm having a few issues with KDE and grub2.
    1. When booting my machine grub2 gives an error saying "error: fd0 not found" (twice). My machine does not have a floppy drive and has never had one. There is no option in the BIOS to turn floppy off. So why is grub2 complaining about it?
    2. With KDE 4.7.0 thumbnails of pdf files are not generated anymore, they were with previous versions of KDE4. Anybody else have that issue with 4.7?
    3. I have and Brother DCP-7045n printer in my network and when try to print from a KDE program (Koffice, Kate, Kwrite, Kile etc.), the margins are completely messed up. The print preview on the screens looks right but the actual print everything shift upwards to the right. So things on top of a page are cut off for example. Printing from Gnome/GTK apps (Acrobat Reader, Libreoffice etc.) do not show this behaviour. I 've had this issue with KDE4 since KDE 4.3. Here is the original ustream bug:
    https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=196590
Anybody got an idea how to fix this?
    4. Skype is crashing on me on startup constantly several times before it finally runs. I've had this problem since the 2.2.x series got released? Anybody got a fix for that. I was hoping a reinstall would fix that problem (same with the printing issue) but no luck.
    5. I'm using KDE's microblogging plasma app to check my twitter account but I can't get to remember my password. Everytime I log into I have to manually login to my twitter and kdewallet is running and has my password stored and everything. This one really pusles me.
    6. The final issue I having and issue was also the  reason why I wanted to reinstall my machine in the first place. I originally used KDEmod as my desktop but they stopped making KDEmod some time ago when they started working on Chakra. So I removed KDEmod and installed KDE from Arch directly. A nice feature of KDE4 is its ability to generate previews on folders containing images and videos. When I switched to KDE that feature stopped working. So I was expecting that with a fresh install that this work and it does except for folders containing jpeg files. If I have a folder containing only jpeg files no previews/thumbnails are generated on the folder but previews the jpeg files themselves are generated. Does anybody else have that problem with jpegs and folder previews?
Hope somebody can help me with these few issues...

Have you installed grub2 with that --no-floppy flag as described in:
    https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Grub2#BIOS_systems?

Nope. Is it selected in dolphin>settings>general>previews.
fettouhi wrote:5. I'm using KDE's microblogging plasma app to check my twitter account but I can't get to remember my password.
Well that won't be a solution, but you might use choqok instead - at least it stores the password.
To answer your first answer, yes I installed grub2 with the --no-floppy option as mentioned in the wiki. Regarding 2 I don't understand why that works for you then? I have all things turned on under previews (folder, video, jpeg etc.) but as mentioned in my first post I have no previews with pdf files and jpegs do generate on folder previews. Finally regarding 5 the microblogging plasma app worked fine on my old installation even after I updated to KDE 4.7.0. The password issue I'm having is on my fresh install.

  • 3rd party app Installation issues with Leopard

I recently purchased a new MacBook Pro with Leopard installed. I have been trying to install (from original media) a number of applications (such as Office:mac 2004) that install and run well on my old G4 running Tiger. On Leopard the installer won't even open the package. I have checked permissions, am in an admin account, etc but nothing seems out of place. I also recognize that these installation packages are pre-Leopard but I can't imagine all my software is now obsolete. Anyone have any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Doug

Yes I have checked selected applications that I am having issues with. Office:mac 2004 is being used by others on Leopard and Intel based platforms. Not sure if 100% of these users migrated the installation from a prior machine or were upgrading the OS so already had it installed but that is highly unlikely. A demo copy of this even came with my machine. Per advice from other discussion groups this was completely removed prior to trying to install my bought copy of the software. I had believed that Rosetta would allow most (all) apps that ran on a PowerPC under Tiger to work. Since I can't get the installer to even run, I can't tell if the app itself will work.
BTW, I am about to go back and reinstall Leopard to see if that solves the problem.
