Après analyse de mon système, un message d'erreur : "Lightroom 5.3 ne peut être installé sur ce disque. Une erreur est intervenuependant l'évaluation javascript pour le pacquet"

A user deleting a NECESSARY OS file is NOT (repeat: NOT) an Adobe problem. I've seen about a hundred people post in the Apple Forums this week that they did the EXACT same thing: deleted the Mach Kernel file, and it screwed up their entire OS. Apple f'ed up their 10.8.5 update to allow it to be visible, but that doesn't place ANY burden on anyone here.
Kinda reminds me of my earliest days at AOL when people would call in because they deleted "rundll32" from their Windows 98 and then couldn't reboot.
I hope everyone has learned, "If you DON'T KNOW what it does, leave it alone till you've researched it"

Make sure you have it set to "show hidden files"
Check BOTH places and you have to restart Finder
Press "Quit This" and then go to the Finder Dock icon and right click it
Select "Open"
Open TIme Machine
Go back to September 28 or earlier.
You'll see the mach_kernel file in the Mac HD directory
(I can't show it in the TM because screenshots don't work while it's open but here it is in my MAc HD)
Right click it and select "Restore to"
Then, when it goes back to Finder, choose the Mac HD directory and click OK.
It will place the mach_kernel back where it was and you can install software again
DON'T FORGET to go back and hide your files (and restart Finder) again, or you'll have a mess with the clutter of hidden files everywhere. -
What program do you use to open the installer file for mac?!
for some reason it wants to use matlab. i know how to fix this problem myself if i knew what program to use to open the installer... but i cannot find that information anywhere. can someone please help me. what program do you use to open the java installer file for mac!?

I get an error stating cc cookies dir: cannot make folder / cookies: Permission denied (error 13) when I attempted to download the creative cloud installer on my Mac. Can anyone help with similar pop up window? I'm trying to get a trial version of CS5.
You do not need to involve Creative Cloud to install/try the trial version of CS5...
You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

i purchase Lightroom 6 upgrade and during installation the product won't download using the serial number provided. It then asks for serial number of previous installation (lightroom5) but does not recognise it once inserted. Please help!

I bought PSE9 this summer (2011). According to the seller would PSE9 work to install for both Mac and PC. I installed on my pc which worked fine but now when I should install on my new Imac I discover that there are no installation cd for mac? Is there any change to install it from adobe and refer to my serienumber?
I bought it from one of the largest media store in Sweden called Onoff. Unfortunately, Onoff was bankrupt this summer so I can not go back.
If I look at the installation cd there are a windows logotype on it. Maybee this "PSE9 box" I bought is only for windows and the seller in the store didn't know. -

I don't intend to risk at that… seriously, the problem is many software licenses allow for installation on two computers (one "at home" and the other "at work", for instance) - at least all my recent purchases, mostly music production software such as Finale, Logic, Line 6 stuff and Live. That's why I thought Apple might have been a little more generous at that…

My work requires that when I create prints for artists I must replicate all the prints exactly everytime. It worked perfectly from PSE2, PSE3 and PSE4 but now......
I am unable to replicate quality of printing on MACOSX PSE6. it works great on PSE4. I mailed some printed images on art paper to adobe in amsterdam and a cd with the same images. After weeks of discussions phone, email and after testing using their work flow....they came back with some answers.
Finally a couple of replies from Adobe re colour problems and they have accepted that they are double managing the image and that I should use printer management to do the colour conversion.. here are their two replies and the comment that they will now drop me until???????

After consulting with my colleagues about the issue you raised, I can let you know the following: The issue is both on our as well as the driver software side and the workaround we have given is the best available at this time. This issue is affecting all printers, not just Epson or Canon. The soft proofing effect that you are seeing in the print preview is indeed an attempt at soft proofing. However since Photoshop Elements managed prints are incorrectly double colour managed it is not as useful as it was initially designed. As to the exact details of why this occurred, we have no official information. We believe that this will resolve the issues you are experiencing, however, should the reply not help solve the problem, please contact us again, quoting the case number given above, and we will re-open the case.

The Photoshop Elements team are aware of the problem and are working with Apple and the printer manufacturers to get this to work correctly. In the meantime, the only workaround is to switch off colour management in Photoshop Elements and let the printer handle the colour management. Unfortunately we can not make an estimation as to when a fix will be provided. We will close the case for the time being as there really is nothing more we can do about this issue besides offering the suggested workaround. Closing this case does not mean that the research will stop however and the engineers are working on a solution to this.finally fixed With PSE9
