os: Windows 2003 Server. Ram > 1GB
Any advice?
Thanks

Your system is very similar to me. Please try to uninstall the whole system including MaxDB. Before next reinstallation, I recommend you to change Regional setting and language to Germany. The most important thing is to change timezone to GMT+1 with daylight saving.
Anyway, it might be helpful if you can post error message in your log file (Click on 'View Log').

  • Installation hangs at step 18-Load Java Database Content

    Hi,
I am trying to install NW04s WAS. No matter, how many times I uninstall & reinstall(after properly clearing registry entries by running supplied cleaner.exe, stop the Xserver services if running), the installation just doesn't progress at step 18- 'Load Java Database Content'.
    Here is what I did:
I read other threads and checked from the SAP Management Console if the DB is online. It is online and the DB is not full. But the log and Data states are shown as 0%.
Next, according to some threads I  removed the JDK 1.4.2_15 and installed 1.4.2_12 version. No use.
I couldn't find any other threads with suggestions which could be of help to my issue.
I am using windows vista home premium.I get some errors during installation but not during step 18. so I am not sure whether to consider those errors for this issue.

Hi Raja and Anatoliy Misyura  ,
Thanks a lot for taking time to reply to my issue.
1)I completely unistalled the previous version by running clearner.exe and stopping the services, removing sapdb folder etc.,
    2)Then I disabled my antivirus,firewall etc.,
3)Installed jdk 1.4.2_11(after removed the previously tried version 1.4.2_12
    4)Ran the SAPInst installer
But unfortunately still the installer stops at the same step!
    Don't know what's going wrong.....
Raja- Can you tell me what is the windows OS version you have? Mine is home premium.
    Thanks
    Karthik
Can you guys let me know if you have any other suggestions

Yes, you need to download the new installer or you need to change your system setting timezone settings to GMT+1. I faced this problem too but once you are in the middle of installing it, there will be something somewhere missing. The best thing to do is to uninstall the application and unmount the database instance. Uninstall utility 'UNINSTSAP.EXE' is available in the "C:\usr\sap\J2E\JC00" location.
Look at the steps mentioned in the following post by Prakash Gowda.

  • Load Java Database Content

    Hi all,
    the step
    Load Java database content
during the installation of the SneakPreview SP11 takes now more than 1 hour. Is this the normal duration?
Is there any logfile or something to check the progress?
    All comments are appreciated.

I have run into a similar problem while installing the Java Edition. The install process stops at the 18th step which is "Load Java Database Content" with an error message. The error text is:
"An error occurred while processing service SAP NetWeaver Sneak Preview 04 Support Release 1> Migration - Target System Installation."
I have tried the installation about 6 times on different systems and it stops at the same step.

As part of system refresh activities,we are doing Java Export from our Production system(PE1) & we will use that export to import it in our Qulaity system(QE1).So while doing Java Export, the export gets stucks/hangs at 'Export Java Database Content" phase which is the last phase in Java Export steps. We have been doing this task since many years  & we did not encounter this kind of issue ever. There are no errors or at least warnings in the logs like sapinst_dev.log,jload.log,jload.java.log,sapinst.log etc.Our environment details are as below
    EP -6.0
    OS - AIX 5.3,64 BIT
    DB - DB2 UDB
    SAPINST version - 642
    Java version is below
    pe1adm> java -fullversion
    java full version "J2RE 1.4.2 IBM AIX 5L for PowerPC (64 bit JVM) build caix64142ifx-20100918 (SR13 FP6)"
Please note with the SAPINST we are using currently, the exports of remaining systems in EP & other solutions like ECC,CR,SRM,XI,BI are successfull. We are having this issue only in PE1.Looks like some bug in code.So request the experts in this forum to please take a look at it & provide me with solution if any of you have faced the similar situation.
    Thanks & regards,
    Nagendra.

Thank you for your reply Subhash. The below is the last entry in jload.log.It is at EP_ATTR_HEADERS.While doing the Java export,we asked our DBA to monitor to find out any errors at DB side.He monitored and said that no deadlocks or no infinite loops are found. Also he said that he cannot create index for that too because it is trying to do select *.In our first 2 or 3 attempts it used to hang at CA_PRODUCTS meta data exported,CA_PROPERTY meta data exported. Now here. Our DBA said that EP_ATTR_HEADERS has 1.4M rows.We tried to bounce the entire system also, but no luck.We have the same issue.Peculiar thing is we dont see any errors or warnings in the logs.
    23.06.11 09:54:21 com.sap.inst.jload.Jload dbExport
    INFO: EP_ATTR_DEFS exported (6 rows)
    23.06.11 09:54:21 com.sap.inst.jload.Jload dbExport
    INFO: EP_ATTR_HEADERS meta data exported
Please let me know if you need any further info in resolving this issue.
    Thanks & regards,

  • SOlution Manager Installation, LOAD JAVA DUMP

    Hello Guys,
I just have had the same problem on HP-UX 11.11 with SAP-DB. Installation stuck on at LOAD JAVA DUMP.
    Solution:
Use JAVA SDK Version 1.4.2.09 AND NOT version 1.4.2.10 !!!

  • Problem installing SAP NetWeaver 04 - Full Java Edition SP15 - Step 22

    Hi SDN Members,
I try to install the SAP NetWeaver 04 - Full Java Edition SP15 on my System (AMD Athlon X2 3800+ Dual Core with 1 GByte RAM). I've tried it several times but the Installation does not continue after Step 22 - Load Java Database Content. In the Logfile C:\Programme\sapinst_instdir\NW04SR1\WEBAS_COPY\ONE_HOST\jload.log I see this:
    31.12.05 14:25:34 com.sap.inst.jload.Jload dbImport
INFO: trying to create table J2EE_CONFIG
    31.12.05 14:25:35 com.sap.inst.jload.Jload dbImport
    INFO: table J2EE_CONFIG created
    31.12.05 14:25:45 com.sap.inst.jload.Jload dbImport
    INFO: J2EE_CONFIG loaded (13144 rows)
    31.12.05 14:25:45 com.sap.inst.jload.Jload dbImport
INFO: trying to create table J2EE_CONFIGENTRY
    31.12.05 14:25:45 com.sap.inst.jload.Jload dbImport
    INFO: table J2EE_CONFIGENTRY created
This are the last entries. After this step java.exe uses still 50 % of CPU but nothing happens in kernel.exe. I let the installation run 22 hours but nothing changed.
Is there anyone out there with the same problem and a solution?

  • The Java load in database SID / hostname has not been configured yet. You cannot run an installation from the System Copy folder with this load

    Dear Gurus,
We are facing the below issue when performing a homogeneous system copy of NW 7.0 system using backup/restore method for DB6 system.
The Java load in database <SID>/<hostname> has not been configured yet. You cannot run an installation from the System Copy folder with this load.
We went through the SAP Note http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2049842, and followed the same but no luck.
We updated the Kernel to the latest, but still no luck.
Request for your quick help as we have to complete it by EOD today.
    Thanks a lot in advance.

  • CRM 2007 The Java load in database SID/hostname has already been configured.

I had an CRM 2007 system on windows server 2008R2. I had an issue in CI system and reinstall it. But I got a problem when the java already configured in database. My database is very important so I can remove schema. I chose CRM2007>Oracle>ABAP+JAVA>HA system>Central Instance in the sapinst.
CJS-30109  The Java load in database GOL/crmdb has already been configured. SOLUTION: Remove the schema and load it with a new load before you run this installation.

  • "Attempted to load Java content, but Java is unavailable or not installed"

Got a weird error message "[web window name] attempted to load Java content, but Java is unavailable or not installed". This came when -immediately after having done a shutdown and restart- Safari tried to open a web page that had never caused any problems before.
    What worked for me was:
Make sure that an alias named "JavaPluginCocoa.bundle" was located in [StartupDisk]/Library/Internet Plug-ins.
That alias should link to its original file by that exact same name located in [StartupDisk]/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/A/Resources.
The version of the JavaPluginCocoa.bundle should be 12.3.0 - that is: when using OSX 10.5.7 and Safari 4.0.2. (Check the version number by selecting that file and Get Info / press Cmd-I.)
That 12.3.0 version comes, as I understand it, as part of either the Safari 4, or of the Java update that came out simultaneously (I think it was Java 5.2 but don't recall the exact version number).
From other web posts I understand that older versions of the JavaPluginCocoa.bundle may sometimes be left around in various other locations after the Safari 4.0.2 and Java updates, and may cause Safari to get confused about which one it should use. Anyway, the JavaPluginCocoa.bundle setup I mentioned above should be the correct one.

Other threads have suggested to update Java. There is now an update "6".
    http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/application_updates/javaformacosx105 update6.html
I already had this. The notes for Update 6 mentions " J2SE 1.4.2 is no longer being updated to fix bugs or security issues and is therefore disabled by default in this update. "
    I went into /applications/utilities/Java Preferences.app and:
    1) turned 1.4.2 back on.
    2) made 1.4.2 first (by dragging to top)
    3) I also switched Run applets to Within the browser process (which should be the Default but was not set)
I am not sure which of these are needed, but doing all of them made it work. On the web page in question.

  • Call EJB From Oracle Stored proc or Database loaded Java?

Are there any examples of calling an EJB, residing in the OC4J on a machine separate from the DB server,
from an Oracle PL/SQL stored proc.
The Stored proc can call java loaded into the DB. That java makes the intial bean context. Or another way if suggested.
The reason is that I need to use some drivers that I have so far been unable to load directly into the DB using
loadjava util. I plan on using the driver in the EJB, located on a different machine. But I'd like so know if its possible to
make the IntialContext call to the EJB container from PL/SQL. Are the OC4J drivers loadable to be
able to be called from a database loaded java class? ( I might be a little off on my terminology)

    [email protected]

    Hi Bob,
Your question has been previously asked on this forum many times already.
You can probably find the relevant postings by doing a search of the
    forum archives.
To summarize those posts, as I understand it, the latest version of OC4J
    (version 9.0.3) contains a "oc4jclient.jar" file (I think that's the name
of the file), that can be loaded into the Oracle database (using the
"loadjava" utility), and which allows a java stored procedure to invoke
methods on an EJB residing in OC4J.
Please note that I have not tried any of the above -- I am only summarizing
for you what has already been posted. And like I said before, a search
of the forum archives will probably give you more details.
    Good Luck,
    Avi.
