Installation of adobe e-learning suite error 16

Hi,
I have tried to install the adobe e-learnig suite(trial Version) on my PC ( windows 7). the installation seems to be successfull buy when I launch one of the adobe software a window with error 16 contact adobe suppert comes out. Can you help me?

Please help! I uninstalled the corrupt version X before this installation attempt.
I also still have Acrobat Pro 9 on my machine as backup (for this precise reason) but don't believe this is the problem as they have co-existed without a problem for near a month now. The corruption in version X occured after this morning's failed update from Adobe.

Thank you! That did indeed do the trick
Must have been a font or something causing the problems, as opening in safe mode allowed the software to install correctly.

CS6 Installation Failure - Adobe Genuine Software Verification Error

I am trying to install CS6 as a trial version on my Windows8 laptop but keep being told that my software is counterfeit (" Installation Failure - Adobe Genuine Software Verification Error").
I have uninstalled and re-downloaded it with no success, and the only forum post i can see on this suggests checking the date/time on the PC are correct (which they are).
Any further ideas?

Thanks very much for replying Mylenium - i found this before but it only contains a link to photoshopCC rather than CS6 unless I have missed it??. I have bought a licence for the student/teacher edition of CS6 (which I am still waiting for) so presume that downloading photoshop CC wont work.
I have also tried the 'troubleshoot' link provided but couldnt find anything specific to this error.
Has anyone successfully resolved this problem for CS6?

Adobe E Learning Suite -Roundtripping

Why do you make it so we have to pick up the Elearning suite to get the roundtripping features?
I have Master Collection - I then pick up Captivate 5.....but I do not get roundtripping features unless I pay for addiotnal suite? Why would I want to pay for a suite where I already have all the other programs?
Is it me, or does this not seem right? Am I missing something?

Hi All,
I'm going to be buying this soon, now I am in the UK and prices are about £1800 inc VAT, yet in the US the price is $1800 so with the exchange rate is makes more sense to buy from the US and pay bit extra in shipping. Is there any reason I can't do this? Do I have to buy a UK version?
Also, I have access to an older Mac but am I better to use a PC or a Mac with this software?

E-Learning Streaming - Error

Hi,
I am facing a problem, while to run elearning sessions from SDN. The media control shows the following error
<i>"Windows Media Player cannot find the specified file. Be sure the path is typed correctly. If it is, the file does not exist at the specified location, or the computer where the file is stored is offline."</i>
This probably is a localized error, however after a weeks effort I have been unable to resolve it. I have made all updates on windows and media player, confirmed that the configuration is correct and that all protocols are allowed.
The same effect shows up when I try to launch an elearning from some colleagues machine. The first page of the presenation shows up but the session does not play.
Can you help me out in resolving this issue.

Restored computer back and I now get an error when trying to run any cs6 program it is a configuration error and it says to uninstall and reinstall.Won't uninstall says I have an error 1. Adobe Illustrator CS3: Fatal error during installation

Hello,
I just bought the AI CS3. It installed OK on my friend's laptop (windows). However, when I clicked the big button in the installation:
"Install Adobe Illustrator CS3"
A window showed:
Initializing Adobe Illustrator...
Then I got a message:
"Setup has encountered an error and cannot continue. Contact Adobe customer Support for assistance. Fatal error during installation".
I've tried several times. My computer meets all the requirements (it's a really new and faster PC). And there's no old versions of AI on it yet.

Do you have any other Adobe products on your computer? When I installed CS3 on my Mac, I kept getting failures. After contacting Adobe, they told me I had to delete ALL other Adobe products -- including Flash and Adobe Reader. Plus, I had to do searches and delete any support files associated with them. It took hours!

I want to do a clean install of Windows 7 Pro on my computer and my installation of Adobe Design Premium CS3 is not functioning. I cannot start it to get in and deactivate the Creative Suite installation.

I need help with deactivation.
I want to do a clean install of Windows 7 Pro on my computer and my installation of Adobe Design Premium CS3 is not functioning. I cannot start it to get in and deactivate the Creative Suite installation.

if you're using the same computer hardware to reinstall your cs3, you don't need to deactivate first.

NOT RESOLVED
It seems to be a problem with my windows installation. I will re-install at a later date since installing PDF viewing programs the only issue.
Problem:
While installing Adobe Reader XI using the install_reader11_en_mssd_aaa_aih.exe from Adobe Reader Install for all versions and AdbeRdr11000_en_US.msi from a forum post on here. Error 1935 occurs using both installers and causes the setup to fail and initiate rollback.
Additional information:
In Programs & Features list there is no adobe reader as you can see:
This is pretty much a clean install of windows on which I have installed: Adobe Flash Player (16), Steam + some games, Chrome, Skype and some Visual C++ Redistributables, .NET Framwork, Drivers for GPU, CPU, Motherboard and USB devices.

Windows 7 x64 - installed on a SSD.
Motherboard: ASRock Z97 Extreme 4

RAM: 16GB Kingston Hyper X (8x2)
Steps taken:
1. I have cleared the transaction log using command prompt with the following command:
fsutil resource setautoreset true C:\
Restarting the computer and trying to install Adobe Reader 11 results in the same error.
2. Restarting the computer, disabling Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and installing Adobe Reader 11 results in the same error.
3. Chrome has "allow all sites to run JavaScript" checked.

I have attempted to install an earlier version (10.1.4) of Adobe Reader - Same error occurs.

These alternative programs are failing to install as well. Multiple errors, I now assume the issue is with my windows installation.

Buy the Snow Leopard retail installer (http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A?fnode=MTY1NDAzOA).
That will take you to 10.6.3.
If required you can then use the combo updater to get to the latest version, 10.6.8 (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399)

We run Windows 7 Ent 64 bit OS in our company and recently we have started getting the following error "Installation is forbidden by system policy - Error: 1625" when installing Adobe Products even though i am logged in as an Administrator.
We do not have any policies configured in our enviroment to restrict installations.

Possible Causes
You're not logged in as an administrator.
Your Windows Installer system policy prevents you from installing digitally-signed software updates.
Solutions
Log on to your computer with administrative rights, and then install (or update) TurboTax.
If that doesn't work, you will need to enable installation of digitally-signed software updates:
Windows 7, 8 or Vista
Hold down the Windows key and press R to bring up the Run window.
On the Run window, type gpedit.msc, and then click OK.
On the Local Group Policy window, navigate to Local Computer Policy, then Computer Configuration, then Administrative Templates, then Windows Components, and then Windows Installer.
