Installation of Adobe Premiere Pro CS6

Hi, I recently bought my Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 online and tried to follow the guide. However, I am unable to install and get pass the 'install a trial' page. Followed the steps below but stuck at step 3. Please help me as soon as possible!
Follow the steps and your installation will be done within 5 minutes!
1. Disconnect from Internet (important!)
2. Click on the "Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.dmg" file and open the installation inside
3. When installer opens, click "Install a trial (I want to try Adobe Premiere Pro CS 6 Family for a limited time"
4. Click "Accept" > "Install" (Choose only Adobe Premiere Pro CS6)
5. After installing, go to your applications and open up Adobe Premiere Pro CS 6.
6. The Premiere Pro application will open together with a pop up window, click "Start Trial"
7. Choose a new project, and once Premiere Pro has been opened, close the application
8. Go to "Mac Patch (MILK Design Studio)" folder, right click and copy "amtlib.framework"
9. Go to your "Applications" (side tab under finder), click on "Adobe Premiere Pro CS6", and right click on "AdobePremiere Pro CS6" and select "Show Package Contents"
10. Click on "Contents" > "Frameworks" and paste the file. Select "Replace".

    I'm trying to install Adobe Premiere Pro on my new iMac. Operating system version is OS X 10.8.2 (12C3103).
    However, soon after starting installation program, that gives an error message (translated from Finnish): "We encountered the following problems. The installation program was not possible to start. Load Adobe Support Advisor program and try to find the fault."
    After running Support Advisor program, that gives the following message: "Inspection could not identify any issues. Please contact Adobe Support for further assistance."
    What is wrong???

    There are no log files related to Premiere Pro :-( in folder /Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers/

    Thanks for posting on forum. Windows Vista is not a supported platform for Adobe Premiere pro CS6 but, you can try the installation on Vista and check if it gets installed on it. Also, if it gets installed you might face further issues while using the product.

    I was wondering if there are any silent uninstall string for Adobe Premiere Pro CS6?
    In the registry, the standard uninstall string is
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\core\PDApp.exe" --appletID="DWA_UI" --appletVersion="2.0" --mode="Uninstall" --mediaSignature="{7176B973-6011-43C1-AEBC-2D73FE7C6982}"
    I tried a few common switches such as --silent --mode="silent" --quiet , etc.
    Also, I tried running msiexec /X{7176B973-6011-43C1-AEBC-2D73FE7C6982} but receive an installer error mentioning this command is only usable for installed products.
    I have no issues when the application is installed with a package from AAMEE, as there is an extra MSI entry in the registry, but can't seem to find a solution for set-up based installation.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Second: I cant install adobe premiere pro cs6... this message appear: Installer has not been able to be initialized. Download adobe support advisor to detect the problem.
    when i run adobe support advisor, this message appear: Instector could not identify any issies. Please contact adobe support for futher assistance.... but i cant find any help for this problem.

    I am currently renting Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 through the creative cloud.  What all would I have to do to switch to Adobe Premiere Pro CC.  Is there anyway to just switch from my current subscription with Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 to Adobe Premiere Pro CC.  Or would I have to buy a whole new subscription to upgrade to Adobe Premiere Pro CC?

    the acrobat dc installer will uninstall your acrobat pro xi.  you'll see a warning when you start the installation.
    i don't know if there's a migration issue but dc seemed to pickup my acrobat x signature and my recently opened pdfs.  here's more info, https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/faq.html

    No. Adobe programs only create shortcuts in teh start menu, not the desktop. If for some reson that's not the case and you have problems, you need to provide more info about your system and otehr relevant details.

Vous pourrez aussi vérifier que votre configuration répond bien aux critères non pas minimums, mais plutôt recommandés.

  • "Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 has stopped working" but was working fine a week ago...

    On my desktop (Dell XPS 8300), I keep getting the error message "Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 has stopped working" when openng up a previously created project or trying to create a new one in Premiere Pro CS6.
    On my laptop (MS Surface Pro 2), I can load projects and edit them, but I cannot export media.  When I try, it just sits there and does nothing.  I've also tried sending it to Media Encoder, but that doesn't help either.  Sometimes, it crashes too.
    I'm running Windows 8.1 on both with the latest updates installed.
    Oddly, this started roughly around the same time on both computers.
    I've tried uninstalling and re-installing, but that didn't help.
    I've run the Windows troubleshooter and that didn't help either.
    I've tried running as an administrator, and running the program in compatibility mode for Windows 8, 7 and Vista - that doesn't solve the issue either.
    At this point, I can't do any work and am even considering paying for CC even though I just dropped $700 on CS6 last year, but I'm wondering if that would even solve the issue, or if the CC version would also not work...

    I open Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. I import a .mov file. I move the .mov file into the next box and a message pops up saying "Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 has stopped working"
    Then Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 closes.

    This was patch week for Microsoft... if you let Windows update, you MAY need to check your graphics adapter driver
    •What is your exact brand/model graphics adapter (ATI or nVidia or ???)
    •What is your exact graphics adapter driver version?
    •Have you gone to the vendor web site to check for a newer driver?
    •For Windows, do NOT rely on Windows Update to have current driver information
    •-you need to go direct to the vendor web site and check updates for yourself

  • Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 classroom in a book lesson files "file format not supported" error message

    Hey y'all. I have the creative Suite cloud membership and am learning Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and have the latest update. I have an iMac, version 10.8.2 and have been going through the lessons 1-8 so far from the 'Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 Classroom in a book' with no problems. So far so good. Then, when I opened Lesson 9 project today, I realized that certain media was off line (see pic below-videos and maps) even though I had been able to open the project. I tried to see if it was a link issue but was unable to select the 'Link Media' option and the system did not give me the option to link media when opening a new project. The strange thing is that I am now able to open some lessons with everything working fine but when I try to open other lessons such as lesson 9 or 10 or 11 I notice media files offline after getting the "file format not supported" pop-up error message when attempting to open a project. It's random as some lessons I had opened previously now give this error message of file format not supported when they didn't in the past whilst others work. I have deleted all the lesson files from my hard drive and reinstalled them from the cd onto my hardrive but the issue persists. Any idea as to why all of a sudden Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 is giving the error message "File format not supported"??? when opening the lessons. I have not changed any preferences. I've included some screenshots though I don't know how much help they will be... Is anyone else running into this issue??? Can anyone help???
    NEVERMIND. I FOUND OUT ON MY OWN WHAT THE ISSUE WAS AND IS NOW FIXED. YAY!

    Why were you trying to link a file in the project to the project file itself? Shouldn't it be a video file or something? Like .mov .wav .avi .mp4 and not .prproj

  • Adobe Premiere pro cs6 Crashing on Laucher.  No error message

    OHHH my head hurts, Adobe Premiere pro cs6 no longer works.  I was working on a project and i accidentally shut off my computer, upon rebooting i found myself unable to turn on Adobe Premiere.  It brings up the laucher, it does not load any codecs, fonts, etc.  you know what i mean the really fast list that goes by.  My gpu is supported, i have did the cuda core trick, i have deleted my properites, and reinstalled, nothing.  I even cleaned my entire computer of adobe folders and the what not, used the cleaner tool to uninstall everything to do with adobe, and reinstalled it all.  Still no luck.  I installed the trial of photoshop to see if it worked and it worked perfectly fine.  Adobe encore, and encoder also do not work.  I have checked my graphics drivers, they are fine and not on a beta driver.  I also did not make any changes to my system before trying to open it.  I have system restored back before it happened by and day, still no luck.  I have opened it about 50 times to make sure that it didnt need to black list or anything.  I have even ran the license repair tool, I REALLY need help, i was working on a large project with a deadline.  Please for the love of everything holy throw whatever suggestion you got at me besides a system reformat, which is my last option and i want to make sure i have tried everything before i do that

    2nd question... HOW did you shut off your computer?
    For Windows (I don't do Mac) there is generally a "graceful" shut down when you push the power button, since the power button on modern computers is not DIRECTLY connected to the power supply, it goes through a motherboard control circuit that tells the power supply to shut down only AFTER all open programs are closed
    If you hit some kine of external power switch (rocker switch on a surge protector, for instance) so power was ABRUPTLY cut off... you very likely have a corrupted Windows System Registry... and that would require a complete hard drive formatting and reinstall of everything to fix the problem
