  • Intel HD Graphics 4400 driver update problem.

    Hi!
I have an Inspiron 3537 157813. I tried to update to the recommended driver (10.18.10.3316, A02), downloaded from DELL Support, for Intel HD Graphics 4400. But it shows an error message: "The driver being installed is not validated for this computer.  Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer."
    What could I do?

sorry I do not have an answer, I do have the same problem with this graphics and noticed you had no reply so I thought if I add to it we might get a response from Dell or someone in the forum. I cannot update intel 4400 it is stuck with 10.18.10.3282  (26/08/2013) it won't update to the latest iris even though it goes through the full installation without error, it's the same with any previous update since the one installed, there is always issues with either intel 4400 or AMD 8870m dedicated, any update after 2013 and the AMD is recognised as R9 M270X which it clearly isn't , it doesn't matter if I download the graphics drivers from here or from Intel website itself it just doesn't update, updated chipset and bios and all other hardware and software updates ok Intel 4400 just stays at version 10.18.10.3282, any info would be appreciated ... cheers

  • Intel HD Graphics 4400 for Photoshop CC

    Hi
I am just curious how the latest generation of Intel integrated video performs in Photoshop, Intel HD Graphics 4400 specifically? Does it support Photoshop acceleration, OpenCL etc?
How many graphic memory can it handle? Who is better performer, Intel HD Graphics 4400 or Radeon 6600M?

The real key to the GPU is having an up to date driver.  OpenCL is a little tricky, but should do fine with OpenGL.

  • Lenovo B570e Intel HD Graphics - nVidia Display Driver

    Hi Guys
Iv got a small problem, and I'm struggling to get my head around it! Im installing Windows 7 pro 64Bit from scratch. I normally do chipset drivers first, then i move on to the others and finnish of by doing a windows update.
My problem is when i come to install the nVidia Optimus Display Driver the install appears to fail, windows message pops up towards the end and says something like "hasn't installed propley would you like to try reinstall the recommended way"
Am i right in thinking the nVidia Optimus Display Driver should install the intel drivers too?
My Next step was to try install the Intel HD Graphics (Integrated) from the lenovo site, after installing the machine wont boot back into windows. Had to remove the driver package with safemode.
Iv tried all kinds of combinations and driver packages with the same result.
Anyone else come across this, i welcome as much help as possible.
    Many Thanks
    Giles.

  • Upgrade from intel hd graphics to video card

i have hp g72 b54nr laptop,i want to upgrade from intel hd graphis to video card so whether my sys supports,if not how can i improve my graphic performance for gaming.
sys consist of 4gb ddr3 ram, intel pentium p6100 processor has 2 ghz speed.....
so pls suggest or guide to upgrade or to improve graphic performance......
    reply me soon..:-)

There is no internal upgrading for your notebook's graphics. There is no MXM or miniPCIe slot inside. The only improvement you can make to your gaming graphics without an expensive external graphics upgrade solution is to run the games at as low a resolution as possible.
Sorry to have to bear bad news.

Hi Guys, Is there a way to delete a graphoic driver and video driver from prompt? Thanks

Why do you need to do it from command prompt?

  • Video driver update fails

Envy desktop Win 8 64 bit. I wanty to update my NVIDIA driver, but the installation fails. I've downloaded the file from Nvidia's pages. I downloaded the file the NVIDIA program suggested, so it should be correct. Anyway I downloaded another copy as well, but it didnt work either.
I start the file, the program saves files to a fodler on my disc. Then the system compatability check turns green and I accept the terms. I click next and it tries to install the driver for some time and then fails. "Driver not installed".
I've had the problem before. Then I used the recovery option to reinastall windows. Then the update worked, but I cant keep reeinstalling windows everytime I want a new driver.
    What can I do?

    I did find this: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=cp-116965-1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en...
    Is that the one?
While not specific in what I have found in the past, but if HP issues an update, then it is usually means that is designed for that particular equipment and is different from the NVidia driver found on the NVidia site.  From the pictures of the card, it would appear to be a true NVidia card but that model also has an i7 processor.  The two together may give way to the update.

  • T43 video driver instal fails

I've tryed to get the driver for my T43 laptop from this page:
    http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-61503
My  machine type is 1871-A32 and in this page it says:
     - *2 Machine Types 18xx of ThinkPad T43 family are not supported. Please get the correct package for them. A link is provided below.
But when I look the drivers for the 18xx models I don't fine any.
Anyway I've downloaded this driver, but when I try to install it, the installer tellsme that I need to install Net Framework 2.0, but my thinkpad already has it (indeed it has Net Framework 1.1, 2.0 Service Pack 2, 3.0 Service Pack 2 and 3.5 SP1). After try to install the Net Framework 2 it ask me to restart, but when I start again the installer, it ask me again to install the framework.
Checking the contents of the driver installation folder (C:\DRIVERS\WIN\DISPLAY) I notice a folder NET32 which has the Net Framework installer (dotnetfx.exe). I try to install it manually and I get the error "Setup cannot continue because this version of the .NET Framework is incompatible with a previously installed one." and that's because my framework version is SP2, but the installer fails to detect it and stops all the installation process.
I want yor help to get a link to download the correct driver and/or get this driver installed.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Flash player 11 (released version) - s/w only in Intel HD graphics...

    FYI
My away3d which worked before is not not being 3d accelerated with released flash 11:
    Its a newish dell i7 laptop 2011:
    Graphics Specs:
I went to dell and made sure the latest intel driver is installed,  Dell seconds sources these you cant get one from intel directly, if that matters)...
The sytem tray util reports this as whats installed,
      intel hd graphics core i5
      driver version 8.15.10.2104
      win7 serv pack 1
      video bios 2026.1
      graphics memory 32mb
intel r hd graphics - acceleration in use
(but now not in just released flash-11)
Flash 11 3d accelerated checkbox is checked.  (same speed with it checked or not-checked, so my only conclusion is that I am running s/w only without 3d acc) - 3fps on the flex-away3d code I am working on.
Also perhaps of note.  I tried the Stage 3 video test from developer connection (and unsurprizingly is said stage video = false when playing big-bunny)
Hopefully there is some config change/patch I can apply to make this go else I cannot proceed with my new development until this is 'fixed'...
    TIA gregh

    Hi Carl.
Perhaps this is the root issue here  (but, I cant get driver directly from Intel as they redirect me to the 'dell - video drivers site' from their video drivers page) and it wont install directly from intel.
The latest Certified dell - intel driver from dell support, which I have installed, is at version:  8.15.10.2104
Not sure there is any way to override this behavior(s) and install a later (better driver) and I dont want to smoke my laptop 'video' in the process)
Hopefully a path will unfold here to straighten this out for one and all.  Cheers //GH
PS:  Charbs09 -- just sent you the outputs from DxDiag as requested.

Intel has a new driver  - driver version 15.17.19.64.2869 (8.15.10.2869) for Intel® integrated graphics.
Your driver list only has orinal driver - new drive came out on 11/16/2012 .
I am getting a failure - driver out of date when loading game - world of warcraft...
Cannot get driver from intel - they said to get it from you... How or where do i get current driver?

    Mallen01, welcome to the forum.
HP has their motherboards made to their specs.  Therefore, retail versions of a driver will not work with them.  This is why the driver from Intel won't work.
The computer is over 4 years old.  I don't believe that HP will make a new driver for Integrated Video.  It is a very involved process.

  • Windows 8.1 Screen Tearing Intel HD4000 Graphics

I have the latest graphics driver from Intel for the HD4000 video driver and all Windows Updates applied in Windows 8.1.  I am experiencing screen tearing on my TV as a monitor when watching videos. I have tried adjusting the Intel configuration settings
for vertical sync to every permutation and the refresh rate - with no success.  Specifically, I have turned V-Sync On. This *should address the issue - but does not.  It appears the OS does not respect this driver setting. The screen tearing was
not present in Windows 8 with the same hardware.  I know that Microsoft made architectural changes to support adaptive refresh in WDDM 1.3. However I fear that the focus on enhancements for tablets' displays has been at the cost of regressions for
desktop users. I hope that since the issue is easily reproducible and occurring frequently, that someone at MS can start a ticket to work on this. Please help!

    Can you rollback the
graphics driver or install a win8 driver for a test?  please also update BIOS and Chipset drivers for your machine.

  • Windows Update for Intel HD Graphics 3000 gives error 80070103

I have a Windows 7 x64 machine that has an Intel HD Graphics card. Driver details:
    Intel Corporation
    1/29/2014
    9.17.10.3347
This month's Windows Updates shows an optional update for me to update the Intel HD Graphics card. It says released by Intel January 2015 and released by Microsoft 3/12/2015. It looks like a more up to date driver but it will not install, instead I get that
    error 80070103.
I googled the error and it seems to indicate that the version of my driver is more recent than the version Windows Update wants to give me. I don't think that's right though, based on the dates. In the Device Manager when I click on the display adapter and
update driver it says the driver is already the most recent version. But it's not.
    Any ideas?

    Hi popchoc,
You may follow the suggestions provided by S.Sengupta.
Besides, regarding error 80070103, the below is the article talking about it:
    Windows Update error 80070103
If you receive Windows Update error 80070103 while installing updates, you might be trying to install a driver that is already installed on your computer or a driver that might be less compatible than one you already have installed. To find more information
or to get help, try these options:
If you want to install the latest driver for a specific device, program, or game, try manually updating the driver instead of using Windows Update. For more information, see
Update a driver for hardware that isn't working properly.
    Go to the
Discussions in Windows Update website to see if someone else has found a solution or to request help from other Windows users.
    Go to  the
Microsoft Community website to try to find more information about the error code.
Hide the update so it's not offered again.

  • Freezes, lockups and displays the following malf: Display Drive AMD failed.

I own a HP HPE-410f w/AMD Phenom(tm) processor 2.70Ghz, 8. GB RAM, 64-bit OS, Ed W7.  It is about 10 mos old.  It frequently locks up both on and off the Internet.  When this happens, we have to wait about 30secs for it to recover.  Now, it is under warranty and and has an extended warranty for a full replacement.  Is this a problem that has history with this product which can be corrected with a simple download, or should I just take it back for full replacement.

    Hi,
It appears from the message that you are receiving indicates that the video driver has failed.
You can try updating the driver off the AMD web site.
If you have a discrete video card such as the ATI HD 5570 then you might want to check for dust inside your PC.  Use a can of compressed air to blow the dust out PC, CPU heat sink and the fan on the video card.  You try reseating the video card.
If you still are having the issue and your PC has the discrete video card then you can remove the video card and use the on board video. The video ports on the motherboard on the back of the PC might have black caps on them.

  • X1 Carbon 3rd.gen Chrome crashes on Youtube videos after Intel HD Graphics Driver 10.18.14.42 update

    Hi!
Chrome crashes at Youtube videos after Intel HD Graphics Driver 10.18.14.4206 update on Lenovo X1 Carbon 3rd.gen. Since the driver update yesterday, laptop starts suddenly to overheat enormously and become super-noisy as soon as I try to open a Youtube video , no matter on Youtube page, or a external provider with embded youtube video. Chrome becomes unresponsible and has to be terminated. Laptop continues to use fan at extreme level for abot 20 more seconds and then cools down. IE plays youtube videos without problem and all the other videos from Facebook i.e. are playing. Tried original and also Beta version of Chrome, which doesn't help.
    Kind regards,Daniil

Hey guys, T450s user here. I think I found an even better workaround for this issue without having to disable hardware acceleration and lower the performance of Chrome as a whole. After long trial and error I found the that driver-related issue is generally narrowed-down to HTML5 acceleration for video playback. By installing the following Chrome Extension I was able to revert YouTube back to the old Flash-based YouTube player and now even 4K playback is absolutely stellar on my T450s running the latest .4222 driver directly from Intel's site! https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24964/Intel-Iris-Iris-Pro-and-HD-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-8-1-64-bit This is of course by no means a fix of any kind but I think it is the best workaround that we have to this date without having to sacrifice performance in Chrome as a whole. Try it out guys! https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/disable-youtube-html5-pla/enmofgaijnbjpblfljopnpdogpldapoc?utm_source=chrome-app-launcher-info-dialog
