Installation of Qualcomm module on hp dm4-1150 ca

Hi can some one upload picturesand intruction how to install Qualcomm Gobi gps module.
I just recently purchase  Qualcomm gobi  2000 hp un2420 wwan card 4. But i have no idea where to install it.

In order to use the switchable graphics feature of your notebook it will be necessary to use the AMD graphics driver software found at the download section of your notebook's web support portal. You can use the very same download for Windows 7 Professional (64-bit).
"Secondly, I created an HP image on a hard disc partition before new window installation, I can access that HP image folder and see an ATI folder which I clicked to restore to original location but nothing happens afterwards. "  That image is of no use to you in the current configuration of your notebook.
Your recovery disk set will install the operating system your notebook was delivered with (Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit) , not a different version (i.e. Windows 7 Professional). Put it aside in a safe place in case of an emergency.  The recovery disk set is of no use for the Windows 7 Professional operating system you have installed.

  • Bridge CC, unsuccessful manual installation for output module.

I have manually installed the Adobe Output Module for Bridge CC.  I followed EVERY STEP in the directions from http://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/install-output-module-bridge-cc.html
After installation, I am receiving the "I/O error".  I have googled this error, and it appears that many are having this same issue, and no one has a solution to fix the problem.  I am currently taking an online graphics course, and this first assignment should only take 1 hour...I am now up to 8 hours of trying to troubleshoot this and figure this out...and I'm wasting my Labor Day.  I'm so frustrated and almost to the point of canceling my Creative Cloud membership AND my online class since I'm already running into problems with Assignment #1.  I do have the CS3 program, but I do not want to go through this class with such an outdated program.
Does Adobe know if they are working to fix this problem, or if it will ever be fixed?  If they are in the process of fixing it, do they know approximately how long it will take?  Can someone please offer a solution or shine some light on the topic.  I am working on a MacBook Pro laptop, Mac OS X version 10.6.8.
    Thank you!

No, I can not get older versions.  I would have to pay $999 for CS6
This is not true, you should be able to download CS6 for free with your CC subscription:
    From the FAQ of CC:
Do Creative Cloud members have access to previous versions of Creative Cloud apps?
Yes. Creative Cloud paid members have access to a select set of archived versions of the desktop apps. Starting with CS6, select versions of each of the desktop creative apps will be archived and available for download. Archived versions are provided "as is" and are not updated to work with the latest hardware and software platforms.
You just have to dig a bit deeper in the Creative Cloud download center.
    Try this link:
    https://creative.adobe.com/products/photoshop
Or visit the Creative cloud page and look for the download center, select Photoshop icon and from this page you can select either CC or CS6

  • Crystal Report 2008 Installation Failed - Registering modules

    HI Folks
I'm trying to install Crystal Report 2008 on XP Pro SP2. The installation stop on Registering Modules, even if I click Cancel,
it does not do anything it just hang there. I have to kill the process in Task Manager. If I restarted the installation,
it says that I have already an installtion process running. So I have to reboot and then restart the installation,
now it says that it will continue a previous uncompleted installation. But it hangs again at Registering Modules.
It does not even stop at the same file. I have done this process several time with always the same result.
Each time it stops on a different file but always during the Registering Modules process.

As well as that make sure you are a local PC administrator or belong to that group. Also check Microsoft's site to make sure you have the latest Microsoft Installer. I believe there is a test tool to check your PC.
Do you know what version of CR 2008 you have? There should be a ProductId.txt file to confirm the version. SP 3 should fully support DEP so if you don't have it download it from this [link|https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100009989492010E/cr2008_sp3_fullbuild.zip].
Then it should get past Microsoft's security. If it's your Anti-V as Stratos suggests then only option is to disconnect from the network and disable it, install and the reconnect.
The other common registration issue is due to missing dependencies or possibly updated dependencies that CR found but can't use. Some of our dependencies are specific versions.
    Thank you

  • Xcelsius Enterprise Installation freezes at "Module Registration Phase"

    Hi,
I initially installed Xcelsius2008 SP2 on my system and it worked fine.
However, I then tried to install BOXI 3.1 server on the same system. The installation did not succeed and had to be aborted. Xcelius also did not start after that.
Then,I tried to repair Xcelsius using the setup, and it was again unsuccessful.
Next I cleaned the registry deleted the BusinessObjects directory from HKLM/Software.Also removed the folders from the program files.
When I tried to perform a fresh installation of Xcelsius 2008 SP2, It freezes when the " Registering Modules" phase starts.Upon aborting and retrying it asks for continuing with the suspended installation and agian stops at the same place.
I have tired this a number of times but still the installation does not complete.
Can  anyone figure out the solution to this?
    Thanks,
    Bharat

    Hi,
    Both are known errors.
LIBRFC32.DLL error can be resolved by installing the Remote Function Call Software Development Kit (RFC SDK), as described in SAPNote 27517. To this end, download the .sar file associated with the RFC SDK, unzip it, then place file LIBRFC32.dll in folder system32.
Register the LIBRFC32.DLL with the similar command but also provide the path.
For TCPDB Table take a look at SAPNote 15023 - Initializing table TCPDB (RSCP0004) (EBCDIC)
    Hope this resolves your issues.

running vmware-config-tools.pl again after making sure that gcc, binutils, make

  • I purchased standalone LR5 in December 2014 and installed on home computer.  I have a mobile home with a 2nd laptop and installed       on this one also.  However, I now get a message saying that the Develop module is disabled and I need to renew membersh

Can anyone help me understand why the Develop module on my 2nd laptop is disabled and asking me to renew membership to reactive.  I have a standalone LR5 which I purchased in December 2014 on the Windows platform.  My 2nd laptop is in a different location to my home laptop and is in my holiday home where I would like to work on my photos when I am away from home.

thanks for replying.  I purchased online from Adobe and they sent a confirmation email with order number and serial no along with the instructions for downloading. There was no indication at purchase that renewing membership was needed at any time and it's only 3 months since purchase. I have just returned home from my holiday home and checked my home laptop (primary and first installation) and all modules still enabled !!  As far as I understand I am able to install twice as long as not operating both at once. This would be impossible as holiday home with laptop no 2 is 60 miles away. When I installed on no 2, i opened the order email and was able to use the serial no again. Now however it is greyed out. I don't want the cloud version and hope this is not what I have.
UPDATE 1 April 2015-   I have checked the system info in Lightroom on my first laptop installation (home) and it is definitely a perpetual licence.  I downloaded what I thought was my 2nd allowed download on my holiday home laptop using the original email instructions and serial number.  I checked the system info on this download and it was it is a cloud version!!!!  This doesn't make sense - anyone out there - can I download to 2 laptops in 2 different locations with a perpetual licence??

  • VMware tools installation fails

    Hi,
I decided to try out Arch Linux in VMware Player before installing it on my system. The installation so far has gone well but I can't succeed in installing the VMware tools services. During installation I get several errors and warnings. These are the errors:
depmod: ERROR: Module 'hci_vhci' has devname (vhci) but lacks major and minor information. Igonring.
The above error seems not to be critical. But then I get another error when stopping Thinprint and VMware tools though all activities complete successfully:
    sh: : command not found
    sh: : command not found
Then I get the following errors at the end of the installation:
depmod: ERROR: Module 'hci_vhci' has devname (vhci) but lacks major and minor information. Igonring.
Warning: This script could not find mkinitrd or update-initramfs and cannot remake the initrd file!

I have Linux kernel 3.13.5-1-ARCH (x64) on VMware Player 6.0.1 build-1379776 running atop Debian 7 with kernel 3.12.0.bpo.1-amd64. I have also the latest version of VMware tools.

I uninstalled the VMware Tools that I had before. Then I installed wget and ran:
    wget https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/vm/vmware-tools/vmware-tools.tar.gz
    tar -xvzf vmware-tools.tar.gz
    cd vmware-tools
    makepkg -s --asroot
    pacman -U vmware-tools.pkg.tar.xz
    exit
    umount /mnt
    reboot
No errors were reported but unfortunately it doesn't work. If I run ifconfig, I can only see the loopback interface. VMware Player doesn't detect any version of VMware Tools installed.

  • PSE 9 Trial Installation Problems

I recently downloaded PSE 9 and am trying to install the trial version on my computer.  I run Windows 7 64 bit, on a Dell Studio XPS, Intel core duo P8700 @2.53 GHz, and 4 GB of RAM.  I have more than 150 GB free on my Hard Drive.
I have searched Google and the Adobe forums for a resolution to my problem, but with no luck.  The problem is as follows:
I start the downloaded installation program, and get to the screen where you either hit the "install" or "cancel" buttons.  Once I click "Install" the dialog box with the status bar comes up, however, from then on absolutely nothing happens.  The status bar does not change (even after waiting for more than an hour), the install will not cancel, and any attempt to switch windows, bring up the process dialog box, or any other action leads to a complete system crash.  The system does not blue screen, but becomes completely unresponsive.  The only way to recover, is to manually switch off the computer by holding down the power button. A manual check of the HD upon restart confirms that PSE did not install at all.
I have cleaned my temp folder, tried installation under a clean boot, uninstalled Dreamweaver, but still no luck.
Any help or insights into this issue would be greatly appreciated.  I don't want to buy the full version if I can't even get the trial version to install.  Thanks in advance.

Bill and Steve, thank you for taking the time to help me out.  I followed both of your recommendations - ran Advanced System Care cleaning out my Junk files and defragging my hard drive, and followed all the steps on the checklist.  I also did one additional thing related to problems people have encountered with Windows Installer which I found on another forum:
    http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r21766633-Windows-7-Installer-has-stopped-working
The Elements install now starts and the status bar advances.  However, when it is approximately 98% complete, it just stops and nothing happens (I waited more than 45 minutes with no change).  I was not able to cancel the Setup, could not end the process using the Windows Task manager, and had to forcefully quit the Setup application by restarting the computer.  Thankfully, this time I was able to restart using Windows, rather than manually with the power button.  Once the system restarted, Elements had not been installed.
    Edit:
OK, so I tried the installation again, but this time made the following changes first:  In the Microsoft Management Console (accessible from Task Manager -> Services Tab -> Services Button) I manually "Started" Windows Installer and Windows Modules Installer.  I also double-checked that all Anti-virus, Firewall (including Windows Firewall), and Anti-malware services were stopped.
These steps have seemed to work and PSE9 has sucessfully installed and also runs (so far)

  • Rc.conf and modules

    Hello gentlemen,
I recently re-installed Arch on my PC and noticed that the modules section in rc.conf is empty. My previous Arch installation rendered several modules that were automatically loaded which was reflected in the modules section. Did I miss something?
Everything works as a charm though and I manually added the modules I wanted to start.

    Mektub wrote:
    new2arch,
when you have MOD_AUTOLOAD="yes" in /etc/rc.conf, the needed modules should automatically load.
You can always explicitly load (or not) specific ones.
    F.e., I have:
    MODULES=(!snd-pcsp)
    Mektub
Mektub - I don't recall how that particular line in rc.conf looks like in my newly built system but I'll check it out later. I also don't remember if I had to explicitly change "AUTOLOAD=NO" into "YES" when I first installed Arch about a year ago, but on my laptop it says "yes" and there are a bunch of modules present.
I've disabled the system beeps in rc.conf, and also enabled fuse so I guess modules are autoloaded but by udev and those aren't being shown i rc.conf.

About a month ago, the Desk Manager app stopped recognizing that my blackberry was connected via usb so I decided to remove/reinstall the Blackberry Desktop 4.3 software. My the desktop manager currently will recognize my blackberry as long as I don't disconnect the blackberry before first powering off the laptop.  Any one have any ideas regarding this issue?

Perform clean uninstall of BlackBerry Desktop Software.
    Check for instruction: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02206
After that  go to here: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/

I recommend to download  BlackBerry Desktop Software without Media Manager.
Media manager is not necessary to transfer files to the device and vice versa.

I installed NI-RFSG, NI-RFSA, the Spectral Measurements Toolkit, and the Modulation Toolkit.  I have both LabVIEW 7.1 and 8.0 installed on my system.  I developed an application in LV 8.0 and now I need to revert it to LV 7.1.  The problem I am having is that add-on toolkits seem to only have been installed for LV 8.0 because there are several missing VIs and controls when I try to open the LV 7.1 version.  I tried re-installing the toolkits, but this is not fixing the problem.  How can I get the installer to install the toolkits for both versions of LabVIEW?
    Thanks for your help,
    Cherie

    Hello Cherie,
it's a know issue. You can read it in the modulation toolkit readme :
    Two Versions of LabVIEW Installed
The installer supports installation of the Modulation Toolkit into a single
version of LabVIEW; installation of the Toolkit into multiple separate
installations of LabVIEW (for instance LabVIEW 7.0 and LabVIEW 7.1 installed
on the same PC and in separate directories) is not supported or recommended.
An unsupported means of doing so though involves manually copying files from
one LabVIEW installation to another. To do so, you can install the
Modulation Toolkit to the home directory of one LabVIEW installation, and
then manually copy the installed files to the other LabVIEW installation.
The following list includes pertinent directories and files. Copy all files
from these directories, including any subdirectories, using the equivalent
relative paths to the LabVIEW home directory for the target.
    <LabVIEW Home>\vi.lib\AddOns\Modulation\*.*
    <LabVIEW Home>\vi.lib\AddOns\NISML\*.*
    <LabVIEW Home>\examples\Modulation\*.*
    <LabVIEW Home>\resource\objmgr\NIMTAttribs.rc
    <LabVIEW Home>\resource\objmgr\NIMTAttribs.rch
    <LabVIEW Home>\help\lvmod.txt
    <LabVIEW Home>\help\lvmod.chm
    <LabVIEW Home>\help\lvdmt.txt
    <LabVIEW Home>\help\lvdmt.chm
Note that this listing does not include all installed files. Also, copying
files in this manner is not equivalent to a full installation into the
alternative version of LabVIEW. Most notably error text unique to the
Modulation Toolkit will not be updated and the Example Finder listings will
not show the Modulation Toolkit examples.
