    Hi SSISJoost,
After installing some update such as MS09-62 (KB970896), the "DTS.dll" and "MsDtsSrvrUtil.dll" may be unregistered. In this issue, the error may occur if the two DLL files are not registered. Here, please register both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions of the
DTS.dll and MsDtsSrvrUtil.dll files, and check the issue again.
    Hope this helps.

  • Captive runtime -target bundle does not create the package fails after creating a .tmp folder

    Hi Adobe Team, Experts,
I cannot create a captive runtime package successfully on windows.
This is the command I am using to create a captive runtime package for windows
adt -package -keystore CodeSigning.pfx -storetype pkcs12 -storepass password -target bundle TestPackage Test-app.xml Test.swf
The issue is the above command creates a .tmp directory "adt5072057577475387637.tmp" but does not create a directory by name "TestPackage" .
Another observation is the above command works in-consistently it seems to create the directory sometimes but fails for the most.
Funny enough !! It worked when I was creating a POC but  now when I am trying to release it stops working on me.
It is the same machine I did POC on.
    The application descriptor has
    <supportedProfiles>desktop extendedDesktop</supportedProfiles>
    I have also tried
adt -package -keystore CodeSigning.pfx -storetype pkcs12 -storepass password -target bundle TestPackage.exe Test-app.xml Test.swf
    as mentioned here -  http://www.riaspace.com/2011/08/bundling-air-3-runtime-in-air-desktop-applications/
    Flex SDK version - 4.6.0
    AIR SDK version - 3.1
    JDK version - jdk1.6.0_18
Please advise as to how to fix this issue.
    Thanks,
    vshare

    Hi vshare,
did you ever find a solution to this? I'm running into the same problem with no apparent solution.
    Thanks!

  • CC 2014 - Packaging fail : nothing happen further the instruction windows

    Hi,

    Hi,
I solve my problem by erasing InDesign preferences (Library > Prefrences > InDesign).

  • AIR 15.0 for OSX - ADT: Packaging failed. Packager internal error

Packaging a SWF to AIR with captive runtime and native installer (using "-package bundle"), building on PC worked perfectly fine.  After making all of the requisite changes to make it work for Mac, I'm now running into the "Packaging failed. Packager internal error" when building using adt through the command line.  My .command script is as follows:
    cd [directory]
    adt -package -storetype pkcs12 -keystore ../cert/key.p12 -storepass pw -target bundle Bundle ../App.xml App.swf -extdir ../lib icons/16.png icons/32.png icons/128.png
What can cause this vague "Packger interal error" error? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Steve
I have same problem with apple Developer Id Application certificate (downloaded from apple), got past the chain error message by including intermediate and root certificates when I exported from keychain, but got the package error referenced here. Also when I sign on windows machine with my code signing certificate (selecting windows installer) all publishes ok, but the certificate is not attached, says 'unknown developer' when I down load and try and run installer on windows machine. I sent the exe to Comodo (the guys I got the code signing certificate from) and they say the exe is not signed.
Finally I get 'The digital certificate is invalid'  error when I try and use 'Developer Id Installer' certificate (downloaded from apple).
I think there must be several problems here with Air SDK.
Stopping me from publishing and I have a very upset Customer. Can someone from Adobe please advise asap.

  • Install script is not executed during installation of homemade package

I'm working on my first PKGBUILD for the AUR, trying to create a package to install dphys-swapfile on Arch.
Here are the files that I'm using to create this package:
    PKGBUILD
    dphys-swapfile.install
    dphys-swapfile.service
The installation of dphys-swapfile as specified in the PKGBUILD works perfectly, i.e. it is actually installed to the right location and you can use it without any problems at all.
The systemd unit file is copied to the right location as well and you can enable and start the service with systemctl.
The problem arises with the install script. I wrote dphys-swapfile.install so that the service would be automatically enabled and started right after the installation of the package, but this is not working, i.e. the service is neither being enabled not being started, and I don't know what is causing this issue.
Any insight on what could be failing, as well as general tips on how to improve this package, will be very much appreciated.

It looks like presets are the appropriate way to do this:
systemctl preset is used by the post install scriptlets of RPM packages (or other OS package formats), to enable/disable specific units by default on package installation...

  • DTEXEC does not fail when SSIS package fails

I need to run my SSIS 2012 packages through the catalog with DTEXEC. This works very well, except that if my SSIS package fails, DTEXEC does not fail. I need DTEXEC to fail, so my scheduler knows that there is an error.
    I use the following command:
    dtexec /ISServer "\SSISDB\MyFolder\MyProject\MyPackage.dtsx" /Ser MyServer /Par $Package::Partition;201412 /Env 5
When I check the status of the run in the Catalog, it is failed.
When I used SSIS 2008, I had no problem getting DTEXEC to fail when the packages failed.

I've had the same problem, and come up with the following prototype for a SQL Script which I run in our JAMS Enterprise Scheduler. It uses SSISDB stored procedures to start the SSIS package and polls every 5 seconds to report any messages, and final
status code of the package. JAMS parameters are delimited by << >> symbols, and will need to be changed for your scheduler/batch process. I guess the script could be converted to a stored procedure. I'm also hoping it will work with SQL High
Availability groups to ensure the SSIS package runs on the server that's hosting the active database.

  • Scheduling SSIS package fails

    Hi,
I've successfully created a SSIS package and I can execute it manually. Now I am trying to schedule it as a job to run daily at certain time. For this, I tried to create a job through 'SQL Server Agent' in Sql Server Management Studio. But when I configured
the Step properties and clicked 'Ok' it is throwing this error.
    TITLE: SSIS Execution Properties
The package failed to load due to error 0xC0010014 "One or more error occurred. There should be more specific errors preceding this one that explains the details of the errors. This message is used as a return value from functions that encounter errors.".
    This occurs when CPackage::LoadFromXML fails.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The package failed to load due to error 0xC0010014 "One or more error occurred. There should be more specific errors preceding this one that explains the details of the errors. This message is used as a return value from functions that encounter errors.".
    This occurs when CPackage::LoadFromXML fails.
I am using Visual Studio 2010 for creating package and SQL Server 2008 R2. Also, I gave my credentials in the package's connection string. And I am trying to schedule the job with the same package credentials as the job owner.
The Protection Level in Visual Studio was set to 'EncryptSensitiveWithUserKey'.
What am I doing wrong to create a job step?
    Thanks for any help!

    Hi CRMProgrammer,
Based on my research, the error “The package failed to load due to error 0xC0010014 "One or more error occurred. There should be more specific errors preceding this one that explains the details of the errors. This message is used as a return value
from functions that encounter errors.". This occurs when CPackage::LoadFromXML fails.” always occurs when you open or deploy a higher version SSIS in a lower version SQL Server.
Based on your description, it seems that the package is created in SSIS 2012, while you trying to schedule it in SQL Server 2008 R2. SSIS versions are not backwards compatible. Please notice that once a package is upgraded from SSIS 2008 R2 package schema
to SSIS 2012 package schema, the package cannot be downgraded. So we cannot schedule the SSIS 2012 packages in SQL Server 2008 R2 anymore.
To work around this, we should recreate the package in SSIS 2008R2 or schedule the package in SQL Server 2012.
    Thanks,
