Installation on personal computer

Hi everyone!
I need to learn ABAP development and thus I need to install it my personal laptop, but I could not find "minisap" on website.
My system has i5 processor + 8 GB Ram + windows 7 +500 HDD .
Could anybody let me know how to install minisap?
I tried with sap 7.02 it was asking for some host name and somthing port .

That is basic installation in production is different eg.
put CRS_HOME in place where root is owner of parent directory, apply patchset after every component eg. install crs and then patch crs, instal asm then patch asm ....
you have to patch crs because of UNKNOWN statuses

Can adobe software be shared across more than 1 persons computer?

I was wanting to know if I buy the complete package can it be shared with more than 1 persons computer, possibly up to 3 people?

If I read your intentions correctly, the answer would be no. A single user license/subscription allows for working installations on two machines, only one of which can be in use at a given time. It is not intended to be shared by a group.

Installation Problem Personal Oracle 8.0.4 on Windows 2000

When trying to install Personal Oracle 8.0.4 on a Windows 2000 machine, i get an Error:
"Unable to delete the NT Service for the SQL *Net V2 Listener".
No previous installation of Personal Oracle is present on this machine as it's a newly installed OS.
Any Help would be appreciated

I tried installing Oracle 8i Personal Edition in Windows 2000. The installer loads and it start installing the files, except when it goes half way through the installation, it quits. I don't know if this is a bug in 8i Personal Edition or not. Because I am unable to install the software on my machine.

Which one of the above CD I have to use .
And also I want to install in the same computer the form builder (32 – bit) that is
Forms [32 Bit] Version 6.0.8.23.2 (Production)
And also I want to install in the same computer the REPORT BUILDER (32- BIT) that is
Report Builder 6.0.8.23.0
How can I do that what is the setting for the TNSNAMES.ORA.
Please in details, and with example if it is possible.

I have install oracle9I release 1 (9.0.1) in my PC ,so I was able to connect oracle through SQL PLUS ,
It means that tnsname.ora file is configured properly as for as the database is concerned
But when I try to connect through the developer form to the database I got this message
ORA-12203: TNS UNABLE TO CONNECT TO DISTINATION
The oracle database have been install in D:\ORACLE and the developer have been installed in
C:\ORACLE
I have copied the tnsname.ora from D:\ORACLE to c:\oracle\net80\admin, but still I got this message ORA-12203: TNS UNABLE TO CONNECT TO DISTINATION

You can create a single-node RAC. However, you still need the infrastructure - shared disk, multiple network cards, and so on.

"An Office 2003 installation on your computer is corrupted and setup cannot continue" error on Office 2010 Pro install

I am currently trying to install Office 2010 Pro Plus onto my machine that has Access 97 and Access 2003, Visio 2003, Excel 2003, PowerPoint 2003, and Word 2003 installed. I need to keep the previous versions of Office installed as they are used for development
work. When I try installing Office 2010 I've stopped with the following error message: "An Office installation on your computer is corrupted and setup cannot continue. Remove or repair the Office 2003 product and re-run setup." I can't remove and
repair doesn't seem to do anything. Most posts suggest removing previous office versions or deleting/altering the MS Office registry keys (which would damage the previous versions of Office). Is there a solution to install Office 2010 independently of any
other version of Office installed?

I figured out a method to finally install Office 2010 bypassing the error stated in the title, by manually removing all the keys that included the term "Office 2003" from the Windows registry.

Please note that you need to be very careful when manually editing the Windows registry as it may cause problems to your operating system and even cause a massive failure requiring you to re-format your disk.

Definition of "a personal computer" for CS Student and Teacher?

I understand , that a Creative Suite (SC5 in my case) can only be used on a personal computer. Now I'm wondering, whether a computer I have recieved from my scientific institute for work and personal use (I do manage the computer myself) does qualify as being personal?

Sir, I want to ask some more question.
I have installed the Database 9i in the Server (name: SORA1) & installed Oracle Developer 10g in the Other Server (name:SDEV1).
When I built the form (e.g:emp) at Machine SDEV1. It run on the SDEV1 smoothly on Browser with the below URL.
http://SDEV1.abc.com:8889/forms/frmservlet
My Question is:
How can I run the emp form into the client side personal computer (name: PC2) on the browser?
I have already installed jinit in PC2.
Note: abc.com= local domain

Note: the clients Machine on Local Area Network(LAN).
It run smoothly on Application Server Machine (SDEV1) when I click on the "Form Bulider" toolbox Run command. It give the URL on browser just like this http://SDEV1.abc.com:8889/forms/frmservlet
