Installation option from Ovti to 5800 ?

I wanted to download a calculator from Ovti and install it on my 5800 memory card .   The link was sent to my phone and after being connected I said Yes to download and install .    I never got the option as to where to install .   I usally get this option .
How can I download something from Ovti but have the option where to install it .
Thanks
Solved!
Go to Solution.

When you have downloaded cancel the installation. When you go to Settings>Application Manager>Installation Files, the installers you downloaded are there and would install where you choose. However, there is a setting for Ovi Store wherein it installs directly to memory card which the most advisable thing to do. It would only install on the phone the files that are required to be installed on the phone, like Ovi Maps.

  • Missing "Native Installer" option from Export Release Build for AIR app

Just wondering if anyone else has run up against this. No matter what type of AIR app I'm working on all I get is the Export to file option. I'm up to date, using Flex 4.1 SDK with AIR 2.5 SDK on a current Vista 64 setup.

    Sure.
    Version: 4.0.0.272416
Sorry, but I can't figure out a way to attach files so here's the log en clair:

  • Installation option missing from nw04s installation master

    Hi ,
Did anybody encounter with missing installation option from new latest NW04S installation master for windows ia32 or solution manager 7.0?
I tried all ways .. but still i cannot get the way to choose the right option.

    Juan,
Firstly .. thanks for the reponse.
I download  NW04S installation master or Solution Manager Installation Master from service.sap.com latestly. And  tried  to install a new sap system from the downloaded instmast .. but couldnt find any option to install.
Here is the exact place where i face the problem.
1.Open the Installation master for NW04S or Solution Manster Instalaltion Master
2.Expand any of the relevant product section on the installation master like "SAP NETWEAVER  2004s Support Release X"
2.1 <no Entry for option called "SAP Systens">
        2.2 Standalone Engine
        2.3 Optional Standalone Uints
2.4 Additional Software Life Ccyle Tasks
Except the first option , all other options exists.
This was same casw with even Solution Manager 7 Installation master too.
If you want to see the same problem, download the latest Installation Master from marketplace and check.
    Thanks,

  • I think I chose the wrong Installation Option - Now what???

I installed Leopard right when it came out and love the new OS. But, at the time I did not know what the various installation options meant or implicated. So, I chose the first/default "Upgrade OSX" option.
Now, I have not been having any specific problems, but I think my computer should be faster when loading certain apps and toggling around between spaces, dashboard, and multitasking. The more I read about the installation options, I feel that my mac would run better if I reinstalled Leopard using another installation option, like Archive and Install.
Is this a true concern? Should I reinstall using another option to operate at full potential? How do I go about doing that... same as before? Any help or suggestions is appreciated.
    Phil

    Hi Phil Mutz;
So far I have used Upgrade to install Leopard on five Macs, two of my own and three for friends. So far all of them are all operating just as they were with Tiger. From my experiences with Leopard, I suspect that your problem is elsewhere on your system rather then how you installed Leopard.

  • Re: Satellite L40 PSL48E: Can I create a installation disk from Vista partition

    Hi,
my Satellite L40 PSL48E came with a Vista recovery partition.
As I despise Vista I bought a replacement drive and installed a new hard-drive and installed XP pro.
I retained the original drive in case i ever had to claim under warranty.
I now find that due to work commitments I have to occsionally use the despised Vista rubbish and wonder if it is possible to create a Installation disk from the partition on the original drive so tha ti can create a dual boot system on my new drive.
I am very reluctant to BUY a new Vista CD since I already have a fully legal copy on a drive which I am not using and I will only use it VERY rarely for this one work commitment.
    Any information gratefully received
    Thanks Ron

    OK and thanks.
My next problem is this. I have XP on the main partition and WinRE on the hidden partition. How the heck do I get at the hidden partition. I don't have any boot disks ( none were provided with the machine when I bought it new. Pressing F8 only takes me the the normal XP options Safe boot boot as normal etc.
I've tried f10 and f12 and f11 tas I've seen these suggested on a few newsgroup posts. Anyone got any ideas please.
Toshiba Recovery Disc creatoe seems to be the key from what i read but if this is not present how do i get to the hidden partition and run it?
HELP please. How i hate the fact that manufacturers don't provide a proper CD or DVD anymore it is a right PITA.

  • Is there a repair installation option?

If this was a PC I'd say that I had corrupted my Windows Registry. All I get when I boot up is a flashing folder with a question mark and the "Mac face". Is there a way to repair the OS without deleting all ythe data already o nthe Hard Drive? Sort of the Mac equivalent of using Windows XP Setup's "Repair" function?

    Welcome To  Discussions DarkPhoenixe!
    "...repair installation option?"
From your one of your other Topics, I think that you have Tiger 10.4.x installed. Is that correct?
    Did you just install Tiger?
If so, what version of OS did you upgrade from?
Did you do a Simple Upgrade, or an Archive & Install?
Did you use a Full Retail Version, of the Tiger Install DVD?
The discs should look exactly like the images in the above links, and not say Upgrade, CPU Drop-in DVD, or "This software is part of a hardware bundle purchase - not to be sold seperately." on them.

  • Missing Installation Option

I have installed AS 10.1.2.0.0 on to my Linux ES4 server. The infrastructure (repository and ID Management) have been installed. When installing the Application Server, I noticed that I only have the first 2 installation options
    - j2E and Web Cache
    - Portal and Wireless
Why do I not have the Business Intelligence and Forms option? This is what I really need.
Additionally, I noticed that I do not have the option to create DADs. Is this because BI has not been installed?
Can BI be installed separately, or do I need a new AS installation CD?
Thank you for any help that you may have.

I would suggest always to download the latest version (of your release) direct from http://otn.oracle.com (hoover or click download) instead of installing from actual CD's.

  • Cognos Installation option

    Hi All,
We have recently purchased the cognos ENTERPRISE BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE PRODUCTS.
We are running SAP BI 7.0 and they want to use cognos for the front end instead of the Bex frontend.
I am wondering, which products we have to install on the Cognos side to be able to extract data from SAP BI and then use the cognos front end to view it.
The products I see available to download are:
    IBM Cognos 8 BI
    IBM Cognos 8 BI Analysis
    IBM Cognos 8 BI Reporting
    IBM Cognos 8 Go!
    IBM Cognos Data Manager
    IBM Cognos Query
    IBM Cognos ReportNet
    IBM Cognos Visualizer
    IBM Cognos Web Services SDK
    DecisionStream
    IBM Cognos Impromptu
    IBM Cognos Impromptu Web Reports
    IBM Cognos NoticeCast
    IBM Cognos Powerplay
I am thinking we would need IBM Cognos Data Manager  to integrate BI with cognos to extract Data, which will be installed on a seperate server and data manager connector to be imported in SAP via STMS.
What are we going to use to access the cognos(BI) data, once this data manager is installed?
What are these different products for?
Have been given the task for installing cognos, but what am i supposed to start with? Frontend/server componenets?
Thanks in advance for all the advise.

  • Best installation option

I'm a little late to jump on the train for upgrading to leopard, but I decided now was a pretty good time (since I can get 10.5.XX and 10.6.XX for less than the iLife/iWork package due to a school discount). So within the next week or two I plan to upgrade from OS X Tiger to OS X Leopard, but am unsure which option is best suited for me.
I know there are three options: Upgrade, Archive and Install, and Erase and Install, but I'm unsure which is the best option.
I have an external harddrive that I have all my documents and music, which is mostly all I keep on my laptop, aside from some third party apps.
i was wondering what some people have found most beneficial, it would seem that archive and install is pretty popular, but my MacBook Pro only has an 80G harddrive, and I've used 29.52G of it, so i'm not sure if I would have enough HD space to do an archive and install. With that being the case, I've been leaning towards and erase and install.
But what do you guys think is the best approach?
    Thanks.
    Tony

If you don't want to erase your hard drive then the safest option is an Archive and Install. You obviously have more than enough free space on your hard drive to do so. See the following:
How to Perform an Archive and Install
An Archive and Install will NOT erase your hard drive, but you must have sufficient free space for a second OS X installation which could be from 3-9 GBs depending upon the version of OS X and selected installation options. The free space requirement is over and above normal free space requirements which should be at least 6-10 GBs. Read all the linked references carefully before proceeding.
    1. Be sure to use Disk Utility first to repair the disk before performing the Archive and Install.
Repairing the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger.) After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported, then quit DU and return to the installer.
    2. Do not proceed with an Archive and Install if DU reports errors it cannot fix. In that case use Disk Warrior and/or TechTool Pro to repair the hard drive. If neither can repair the drive, then you will have to erase the drive and reinstall from scratch.
    3. Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When you reach the screen to select a destination drive click once on the destination drive then click on the Option button. Select the Archive and Install option. You have an option to preserve users and network preferences. Only select this option if you are sure you have no corrupted files in your user accounts. Otherwise leave this option unchecked. Click on the OK button and continue with the OS X Installation.
    4. Upon completion of the Archive and Install you will have a Previous System Folder in the root directory. You should retain the PSF until you are sure you do not need to manually transfer any items from the PSF to your newly installed system.
    5. After moving any items you want to keep from the PSF you should delete it. You can back it up if you prefer, but you must delete it from the hard drive.
    6. You can now download a Combo Updater directly from Apple's download site to update your new system to the desired version as well as install any security or other updates. You can also do this using Software Update.

  • Leopard Installation Options-

I'm curious as to how the 'Upgrade' option works.
I've searched online, and all I've fond is this one article posted on a number of sites – it claims that upgrading 'tweeks' the OS, changing only the newer files. But on one site, a user claimed the upgrade option words much like an 'Achieve and Install' – whereby the old OS is completely removed rather than stored away.
Also, let's say if we were to install Leopard from scratch, but wanted a Time Machine drive to continue to back it up as the same computer it was before – what would we need to change in order for it to do that? Time Machine is built to support multiple computers on a single drive, so would we need to continue that? The computer name? Or is it something more, something that one might not be able to change?
    Thanks for the help!

  • Download installation files from app store to make a bootable USB

    Hi,
I just got a new mac mini with OS X Server 10.8.2. I want to replace the original hard drive with an SSD, but I have problems downloading installation files from app store to make a bootable USB stick.
When i click the Purchases button it tells me that OS X Server is already installed, and I'm not able to download the files.
I have tried all the diffrent forms of Option key clicks but nothing works.
Anyone out there who have a solution?
Is it possible to get the installation media in some other way?
By the way. Is it possible to install the non server version on a computer thats bought with the server version pre installed.
I thought so. But I read something about firmware problems on a forum page?
    BR
    Daniel

You cannot download Mountain Lion or Mountain Lion Server from the App Store if it was pre-installed on the computer.
You can call Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. They may be willing to arrange a download for you. Or you can reinstall via Internet Recovery: OS X (Lion/Mountain Lion)- About OS X Recovery.
No, you can purchase and download Mountain Lion from the App Store on the computer you want to install it if it now has Snow Leopard or Lion running.

  • No EFI Boot option from Boot Camp-created Windows 7 USB drive?

I can't get an EFI boot option from my Win7 USB thumb drive. Previously I had been running Mavericks, and with that I was able to select either the BIOS option of the installer ("Windows" under the ALT screen) OR "EFI Boot", but now I'm only getting the bios install option.
Does anyone know the trick to installing Windows with UEFI on my late 2013 rMBP?

I have W8.1 installed under EFI on a late 2013 rMBP. Can you check your USB drive? Is it a USB2 drive?
The structure should similar to the following, and you can see the EFI files. You can try an SMC reset - Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) - Apple Support and check if it changes the behavior.

  • How can I create a disk image of snow leopard installer disk from my Imac which runs it?

how can I create a disk image of snow leopard installer disk from my Imac which runs it? It came without DVD installer, and I want to make a copy of it's OS installer but can't find out how.

You need to have the disc in order to create disk image of snow leopard installer disc. What did your machine ship with? If something later than SL, then why? If earlier, then you can buy the SL installer disc and make the disk image.

  • I can using AirPrint from safari and email to my hp printer but do not get print as an option from the pulldown menu from the new york times and other apps. How can I print directly from these apps?

I can't seem to print directly from apps like the new York times. Print is not an option from the pulldown menu. Print to my hp printer works  fine from safari and email though and from some other apps. Do some apps not permit printing? That doesn't right.

Thats funny. If go to ny times on safari therebis a print icon and no problem printing. On the app -- and I am a paid subscriber -- no print option ...
You can ask the NY Times why not.
Standard behavior is that Airprint always works with iBooks, Mail, Photos, and Safari.  Apps are up to their author.
