just now i was delivered with a Pentiun 4 machine. i was trying to install SOLARIS 8 on it. after the installation part reaches.." select the type of installation", i selected interactive install. soon after selecting my computer is restarting. pl give me some solution for this.

Hi everyone, I am trying to install and configure JavaMail API and java activation framework so that I may start to try and write a Java Mail application, the problem I am having is that I am unable to get the sample program to work, I am compiling the sample program msgsend.java but I keep getting the following errors (I am using Jbuilder 2):

I have installed JavaMail and java activation framework into the following directories on my hard dirive:
JavaMail: C:\jdk1.3.1\lib\javamail-1.2
java activation framework : C:\jdk1.3.1\lib\jaf-1.0.1
My CLASSPATH is set to
C:\jdk1.3.1\lib\javamail-1.2;C:\jdk1.3.1\lib\jaf-1.0.1
I think that I have set this correctly, If not could somenone tell me what the CLASSPATH should be.
If I have set it correctly, could anyone tell me another reason why I cannot run the sample programand tell me how I may be able to fix it.
I have done a search on my computer for a file named javax\mail but it just says that javax is not a valid folder.
Any help would be appreciated

/MichaelI have set the classpath to what you suggested but when I compile the msgsend.java sample I am still getting the same errors as before, the folder where javamail and JavaBeansTM Activation Framework are still in the same location also (C:\jdk1.3.1\lib\javamail-1.2 & C:\jdk1.3.1\lib\jaf-1.0.1).
Can you tell me what is wrong?

MinSAP Basis installation problem

I am a total newbee to SAP and ABAP and am trying to install minisap on my pc so that i can practice ABAP.
I have installed the MS Loopback adapter and have updated the Hosts files as follows
127.0.0.1 localhost
10.10.10.10 MYCOMPUTER
The name of my computer is "MYCOMPUTER"
During installation i get the following error message

can not get information for host "MYCOMPUTER"

Installation aborted

need to install Virtual PC 2007. Create a Virtual XP PC with
(512mb ram if possible) and 10gb hard drive.
After creating the virtual XP. Start it and insert your XP Cd it
will install XP on your Virtual machine. After that remember to
follow the right installation procedure (1)Loop back Adapter, IP
Address (2) Host File editing (3) Sap DB Installation (4) Sap
GUI installation (5) Enjoy programming on SAP

Installation problem any program that requires Adobe Air
Installation problem
I just purchased a new HP Pavilion Laptop running windows 8
If I try to install any program that requires Adobe Air I get a failure message that says
"Sorry an error has occured
The applcation could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file for the applciation author"
I have version 14.0.0.110 of Adobe Air Installed.
I have installed all widows updates.
I have removed and re installed Adobe Air but the problem persists

Background : We are implementing Oracle applications (R12.1.3) on linux environments (Linux/ Solaris - not yet decided)
Total Users 10000. We want the best practices used for handling 10000+ users in terms of following:

2. How Sizing of Oracle applications must be done to avoid performance issues ? (Forecasting for 3 year)

f> web-based users -> oacore sizing
g> form-based users sizing

I had itunes set up and working since i have had my iPhone and iPad. One day it asked to be updated, so i did. After it updated it stopped working because whenever i tried to open it it would say "this shortcut has either been deleted or moved would you like to delete this shortcut". This kept on happening so I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall it, but then comes my second problem. While itunes is downloading an error pops up saying "There is a problem with this windows installer package A program required for this install to complete could not be run contact your personnel or package vendor". This is my main problem and i don't know how to stop it i have tried a disc clean up, De frag and trying to completely take everything to do with itunes off my computer, but it still doesn’t work. HELP ME!!! I NEED ITUNES!!
Repair your Apple Software Update
Go to START/ALL PROGRAMS/Apple Software Update. If it offers you a newer version of Apple Software Update, do it but Deselect any other software offered at the same time. Once done, try another iTunes install
If you don't find ASU in All Programs, go to Control Panel/Programs n Features(Win7 or Vista) or Add & Remove Programs(XP) -

I couldn’t install iTunes on my laptop and showed me “This is a problem with this windows installer package a program required to install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor ‘.Windows of my laptop is win8 Enterprise Build 9200, 64bit.
