Installation/redemption code help

trying to finish my install for photoshop elements and it requires the serial # however it will only accept numbers and my code is alphanumeric and as you can see by my question the letters/keyboard works everywhere else within my computer?

There is no pop up. There is a window that is part of the installation process. If you entered a wrong number, like a redemption code, you would have wound up installing it as a trial. In that case, go to the Help menu in the editor and look for an option there.
If that isn't what you're talking about, you really need to explain in more detail.

    Version 5.5 was/is not part of the Cloud, so you could not have subscribed to that version
    You install version 5.5 on a 2nd computer exactly the same way you did the 1st time... put the disc in the drive and enter your serial number when asked
    Does your serial number show on your account page?

    You have activate the subscription only once in the month of August 2014, so you can activate it one more time, if the Cc is asking for serial number then please follow the steps:
    Creative cloud do not need a serial number. it will be using your Adobe ID on which you have purchased the creative cloud membership.
    So you need to login with your Adobe ID and password to activate the cloud membership.
    Log out & log back in of the CC Desktop App.
    In case it is not signing in successfully please try the following:
    I don't know which operating system you are working on so i am giving you some steps windows and MAC OS:
       Windows:
       In windows 7 navigate to following location:
         /windows/system32/drivers/etc
       1. look out for "Hosts" file
       2. Open it with notepad
       3. Check if you have any entry for Adobe
       4. Remove the entries and try again launching any product from CC
       On Windows XP navigate to following location:
       \windows\system32\drivers\etc
       1. look out for "Hosts" file
       2. Open it with notepad
       3. Check if you have any entry for Adobe
       4. Remove the entries and try again launching any product from CC
       Mac:
       1. Please click on "Go" and navigate to /private/etc
       2. Open "hosts" file and check out for any entries for Adobe.com
       3. Remove the entries and save the file
       4.  try again launching any product from CC

  • Have no redemption code, redemption code help didn't work. Photoshop still in trial mode

    Purchased Photoshop + Lightroom monthly memership offer.
    Installed Creative Cloud Manager and downloaded both programs.
    Lightroom works fine and was activated with creative cloud without problem, however PHOTOSHOP simply doesn´t activate, only gives me option to start on trial mode and I haven´t received any redemption code to actually try redeem. In previous question you sent me redemption hel link, but didn't work out since i haven´t received any redemtion code. Hope you can help, I am rellay disappointed with this subscription.

    Sorry to hear you're still having difficulties. I looked at your order and it looks like the type of membership which should only require you signing in with your Adobe ID and no redemption code.  Do you see any kind of button at the bottom with a "License this software" option that you can use to sign-in? If for some reason Photoshop was unable to activate, that would be an explanation why its running in trial mode.     I would suggest you to sign in with your Adobe ID during installation and your product will automatically recognize your membership details.

    I don't know that you can purchase Adobe software in the US for installing and using outside of the US.

    I purchased Adoge photoshop elements 12 from Office Max.  They scanned the box at the check out and said that my purchase was now 'activated'.
    when I tried to install I went to adobe and had to open an account and sign in.  when i entered the code from the post card in the box with the cd, (and I was very careful to get the 24 characters correctly entered), the website returned a yellow box "The code you entered in inalid. Please try again."
    I have several time and get the same error code.  There is NO PHONE number to call to have this corected.  I am now wishing that I had purchased product from another company.
    how do i get past this error message to finish the installation?

    The only code I possibly see is PSE,13.O,MLP,RET,UE001,DV. This is on the back of the box. I cannot get any version of it to work.
