I am in need of assistance with installing Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 on my computer. It won't install. It gets to the registration phase and backs up the installation. My husband has tried many things, including those in this post of yours. Unfortunately, nothing is working. While searching for things to try, he came across you more than one and that you've been able to help people. I'm hoping you can help me. What information do you need to try to help??

Passing hierachy node variable from BW to BO Webi Report in open doc link

Hello All,
We are working on BW-BO integration and creating Webi reports based on Bex queries.
The question is regarding passing of a hierachy node value from BW to BO through open doc link.
I see that when we pass hierarchy node value, we have to associate that with the corresponding infoobject technical name in the link but not sure in what format it has to be sent.
For example, if ARM is the node value and 0HIERNODE is the infoobject , how should we send this value to BO.
Please help.

You cannot change anything here. You should really find out how the values are retrieved from the database
THere is another option:
1) Activate the tracing on your BOBJ server
Check the following SAP notes (http://service.sap.com/notes) for that:
Unix: Note 1235111
Windows: Note 1260004
2) Run your WebI report from the InfoView by choosing first the desired hierachy node value from the LOV of your prompt.
3) Extract the MDX statement from the log file. It should contain the value for the hierarchy node. Copy this to the URL
It is easier to find this out if you have access to a Crystal Reports Designer installation. Do you?

Different types of Tech Docs??

Hi,
I am in the process of creating some Technical Docs. I have been given "Report" Functional Docs off of which I am to create the TD's. There is a reason I am stressing on "Report" FD's. I found a Tech Doc on the shared drive and when I opened it, it has tabs with information like the Data Flow diagram, the Datasource fields, the DSO fields, the Cube (dimensions etc) and the Multiprovider. When I showed this TD to a friend (quite experienced in BI), he said that the TD was not for a report. He said that a TD for a "report" should contain info like Chars and KF's (rows and columns), Free Chars, Selection criteria, the layout, whether Results rows will be suppressed, etc, etc. I think that makes sense but I would like to get more info from some of the experienced members here. My dilemma is, what do I do with the FD that has been presented to me. It contains the description of the report as to what its purpose is. It also contains the fields and other info that the business would like to see. What should be my approach? What questions can I prepare for the BU leads. Do I need "strong" functional knowledge in the area that the report is based on (say for eg. FI-AR)? I am new to this and a step-by-step approach/answer will be much appreciated.

The functional document of your report describes the specification about the functional requirement report in business sense what needs to be achieved. so Functional Specs are requirements of the business user which needs to be mapped to technical document/specifications, i.e technical requirement is how going to achieve . It contains all details about technical things. Technical Specs translate these requirements in a techincal fashion.

Google Docs link Help PLEASE

would anyone mind please helping me understand why the google doc link URL that i embed in my website keeps going to the main page instead of the document I am trying to link - or alternatively is requiring me to login before I access the document?
I /simply/ want to be able to let someone click on a link and go to a document that I have posted to Google docs and each time I do this one or the other of the above issues comes up.
I even tried to SHARE the document from withing the Google Docs interface and when I click on the two links in the email they both come up as inacessible (problem number 3).

Google Docs makes it easy to create, store and share online documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
I've commented out some text there but it seems to me that these never work. For instance on the last link on this page here I never get it to go to the document: http://www.universaljointdesign.com/wwwcms/welcome.php?menu=2

Store BOM with doc-links

Hi,
I am trying to store a BOM with document links attached to the header and positions. When I call the function CSAP_MAT_BOM_READ it gives me the stored doc-links, but using the funtion CSAP_MAT_BOM_MAINTAIN doesn't change/add/delete anything concerning the document links.
(e.g. I set the flag FLDELETE in the internal table containing the list of linked docs, but it doens't seem to have any effect).
Am I missing something ?

I know, this is a very old thread, but it was the only one I found by searching that matches exactly my problem.
I tried to execute the FM CSAP_MAT_BOM_MAINTAIN in SE37 in test mode.
I can add new positions in STPO, no problem, but no matter what I try, i can't insert Doclinks to STPO.
No new entries in DRAD with STPO_DOC are inserted.
I executed CSAP_MAT_BOM_READ to examine the contents of an existing DOC-STPO Link.
I copied the values from CSAP_MAT_BOM_READ T_DOC_LINK to CSAP_MAT_BOM_MAINTAIN T_DOC_LINK but no error and no data inserted in DRAD.

ADS Tech Dual Link Firewire/USB 2 PC card

Hi all
I purchased a ADS Tech Dual Link Firewire/USB 2 (DLX-181) PC card a couple of years ago and it worked fine under early versions of Panther. Lately when I've tried to use it, I get a kernal Panic the instant I plug it in. I'm using Tiger's drivers for it, not the driver that came with it (it was USB 2 drivers for Jaguar).
is the card no good? is there a way to reset the card bus? or to run any kind of diagonistic?
ADS tech support has been no help whatsoever.

tried the card in another powerbook and it kernal panicked immediately. the card is toast.

Hi,
Once you install the screen painter in your B1 application (as any other addon, you need .ard and installer.exe files) you have a button giving you access to the Screen Painter help file. In there you will learn how to use the ScreenPainter.
