Installation reports succesfull, no database

Question

I've tried several times to install XE on a WinXP-Pro SP2 system.
No SP-file was created, the OracleServiceXE was not started.
Also something wrong with tnslsnr (see listener.log under)
I can supply other logfiles on request.

Hi,
Looks like configuration failed midway.
From cloneDBCreation.log:
SQL> shutdown immediate;
ORA-01109: database not open

Please zip and upload files from c:\oraclexe\app\oracle\admin\XE. Once you have uploaded the files please paste the confirmation number back here.
These are the alert-logs and traces, which would help in analysing ORA-03114.
