Installation SAP IDES 4.7 , SAPAPPL0.001 The file is corrupt

Hi everyone,
I got the 4 CDs containing all the SAP IDES 4.7 files to install it out,
which I am doing...following the manual....everything is fine in terms of the way and steps to do it....however one of the files (SAPAPPL0.001) which was copied from the DVDs to the CDs got CORRUPT.
In summary, I just need somebody's help to provide me with the file SAPAPPL0.001.
1) You can copy it from your current SAP IDES 4.7 installation:
    \SAPDUMP\471ides\exports\export1\data\SAPAPPL0.001
2) To zip it and to upload it to any ftpserver, such as http://www.rapidshare.com/
which allows to upload any file upto 100MBs for free.
3)  To send me ([email protected]) the URL to download it.
I will really appreciate it very much....I am stucked in this procedure due to that
corrupted file.   Thanks for your assistance.

Hi Joe,
You better download that CD from http://service.sap.com, because there are so many issues are involved like licencing....
Regards,
Hari.
PS: Points are welcome.

    WINDOWS?
Connect the iPod to your PC. If iTunes starts syncing (ie erasing) your music automatically, hit the X in the upper right hand corner of iTunes display, to the left of the search box, to stop it.
In Control Panel, Portable Media Devices, double-click your iPod.
In the Tools menu -> Options, in the View Tab, check "Show hidden files and folders."
Navigate to the Music folder. On my 'pod, the full path is
Portable Media Devices\NAME of IPOD (F:)\iPod_Control\Music
Select all the music folders, and drag and drop them into a folder on your hard drive, or directly into iTunes.
And you're done! The iPod music folder structure is strange and inexplicable, but once you move your files into iTunes you can set it to automatically organize your folder by artist and album to clean that up. (To do this, in iTunes Edit menu, choose Preferences and in the Advanced tab, check "Keep iTunes Music Folder organized."
might be out of date worth a try

Good luck and you are welcome.
Like I said, I bought one of their inexpensive enclosures and now can use the hard drive just as a source for the files that are on it...my external drives are much larger and faster so I just plug that drive in when I need something from it.

    1. Sync wasn't intended to be used in that manner. You would be better off carrying around a USB Flash Stick with Portable Firefox for use on "strange" PC's.
    2. You could open the "Library" {Ctrl + Shift + B} and highlight all those bookmarks and then delete them all at once. But that would also delete all the other bookmarks, and it isn't foolproof. All another person would need to do it to '''''restore''''' a bookmark backup file that has your bookmarks. Beyond that, a new Profile could be created and then the current Profile deleted; but that's "messing with" someone else's computer - an action that is worthy of terminating a friendship over, IMO.
And if that "public" computer was set up properly, Sync should have been disabled.

  • I keep trying to download firefox but the second time i click run to run the installer is said it cannot as the file is corrupt

Temporarily disable your anti-virus application for the download process.

  • I'm trying to restore my phone from back up but am being told the file is corrupt or incompatable with the device, but it's the only device I have! Am quite desperate as I lost all my photos and have no idea where they went or how to get them back.

I was trying to copy the photos from my iphone onto my laptop, had them selected and then the laptop froze. Was also doing a software update on iphone (which I thoughi had finished). When I went back to the phone the photos were gone. I was also unable to find them on the laptop :-( (they were all of my new little baby)
On trying to restore from previous backup, I got a message that the file was corrupt or not compatable with the current device, but I only have this phone to use and no other devices.
I am unable to find any appropriate help topics on apple support. Any advice would be really appreciated

Because it says it's incompatible when it can't be, I got hope. I get error messages all the time with my iPod and iPhone that it cannot sync and that 'this device is not capapble of connecting to iTunes' stuff. I literally forget that happened, plug it in again and it works, I later realize that iTunes made a mistake, they do that.

I wonder to know what happend and how can I fix it.
    Appreciate your help,

    Hi Luis,
I dont't know about a mirror. I downloaded the files and extract without problems.
In the following thread is an instruction how to uncompress:
How can I extract files of kind .rar?
Do you use Winrar? Do you select both files if you extract? Try to rename the directory SAP_portal to NW4 (or an other very short name)
    Hope that helps!
    Best regards

  • Protected View Error "The file is corrupt and cannot be opened"

    All
I have a problem with Protected View in Office 2010 on Windows 7.
Symptom:  When downloading a file from the Internet, the file will not open if launched directly from the source location, or saved locally and then opened.  This
is impacting both Word and Excel.  I haven’t tested other applications.  The user gets the error "The file is corrupt and cannot be opened.".
Expected behaviour:  Documents should open in Protected View because they are coming from an untrusted zone (Internet Zone).
    Troubleshooting Results:
     -      If I turn off Protected View the error goes away and the documents open without
issue (but not in Protected View obviously)
    -      If I save the file locally, then copy it to a network drive, the problem goes away (because the zone information is changed?).
    -      If I save the file directly to a network location, then open it, the problem does not impact me (also doesn’t open in Protected View)
    -      If I repair Office the problem is NOT fixed
    -      If I reinstall Office the problem is NOT fixed
The problem doesn't impact all machines, but any new machine I build suffers the problem.  All Protected View options are set by group policy and all machines are getting the correct settings.
    -       The setting “Enable Protected View for files originating from the Internet” is enabled
    -       The setting “Enable Protected View for files located in potentially unsafe locations” is enabled
    -      The setting “Enable Protected View for Outlook attachments” is enabled
    -      Enable Data Execution Prevention mode is enabled
Has anyone seen this problem or can anyone offer suggestions of where to start looking for the root cause?  There are lots of postings on this around the various Internet forums, but most
just suggest turning off Protected View, that is not a valid solution to my mind, Protected View is there for a very sound reason and it is not something I'm willing to turn off, especially when it is working on some machines as expected.
    Thanks.
    James.

Thanks for coming back, James, and I'm glad you've found the source of your
    problem.
As an aside, I had no idea HP made software like that and will take a look
at it - or would if I could. Personally, although I love their hardware, I
wouldn't touch HP software, and the fact that their web page doesn't load
(in IE8) just reinforces my feeling.
    Enjoy,
    Tony

  • Playing mp4 audio gives error message "Video can't be played because the file is corrupt"

Playing a particular mp4 audio file directly from a website link gives error message "Video can't be played because the file is corrupt". However other mp4 audio files from this same website do work correctly. What can I do to get all the the mp4 audio files to play directly from the same website? I must have the correct plugins, etc. since the other files play. This file is not playing from YouTube, is it on the website.
    Thank you for your help.

What is the link to the site and file in question?
MP4 files should be handled by Firefox itself, not a plug-in.
    # Click the ≡ Menu Button and choose Add-ons.
    # Click Plugins.
    # Set every plug-in to "Never Activate".
    # Try loading the file again. Is there any difference?
You have two versions of Flash Player installed. Perform a clean installation of Flash Player as follows.

    # Exit all applications.
    # Run the uninstaller.
    # In Windows Explorer, try to open the following folders. If they still exist, delete them manually.

    # Restart your computer.
    # Run the installer for other browsers.
    # Run the ActiveX installer if you downloaded it.

  • I downloaded FIrefox 5 but when I try to install iget a message that the file is corrupt.

I have downloaded Firefox 5 to my "Download" box. When I click on the Firefox 5 icon I get the usual small window that asks if I want to install the program. When I click on the install buton, I get a small popup that says the file is "corrupt" and when I click "OK" it closes without installing. Hard to use new version when I cannot even install it. I have done this twice and am downloading again for a 3rd time

  • SDMKIT.JAR The file is corrupt

    Hi,
I'm trying to install NW04 SneakPeak Java edition and keep getting this error.  I have tried extracting both the files together and into a directory with a small name (c:/nw4) as these seem to be common problems but I still get the same problem,  Any suggestions?
!   CRC failed in NW04SneakPrevJavaSP11\NWSneakPreviewSP11\SneakPreviewContent\SDM\SDMKIT.JAR. The file is corrupt
    Cheers,
    Paul

I had this same problem. When I was trying to install I would the get the following error at the step "Install Java Engine".
    ERROR 2006-12-30 18:10:24
MUT-03011  Execution of the command "C:\j2sdk1.4.2_09\bin\java.exe -classpath C:/DOCUME1/ADMINI1/LOCALS~1/Temp/sapinst_exe.1928.1167518691/JAR/ins-j2ee.jar com.sap.ins.j2ee.JarInfo -u C:/sap/DevWPInstallation\JAVA_EXPORT\SDM/SDMKIT.JAR" finished with return code 3. Output: C:/sap/DevWPInstallation\JAVA_EXPORT\SDM/SDMKIT.JAR is not a jar file!
I fixed it by using <b>WINRAR</b> freeware to extract the <b>.RAR</b> files.
My environment for installing SAP NetWeaver 2004s SR2 (SP9)
    1. Download the two files Part1 (1.36 GB) and Part2 (1.34 GB)
    2. JDK: jdk1.4.2_09
    3. OS: Windows 2003 Server Evaluation version (6 months free @ microsoft.com)
    4. Download and Install the WINRAR software on your machine.
    5. Download JCE for Java from Java website.
    Steps
    1. Extract the two files in step 1 into the same folder. For ex: c:\s. Keep it short.
After extraction the size of my c:\s folder is 2.77 GB.
    2. Double click setup.bat. Wait for the program to run.
    3. Its takes approximately two hours to completely install it from here.
Try avoiding to UNINSTALL and INSTALL it might give you problems.
    Thanks,
    Harish

  • Every time I try to download Firefox, I get an error message tha says the file is corrupt. How do I fix it?

The file will download approximately 40% and then I get an error message that says the file is corrupt and the download window closes automatically. In addition, I have had this trouble with two separate computers using two different operating systems.

Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the <u>Desktop</u>.
    * Firefox 6.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
    * Uninstall your current Firefox version.
    * Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
    * It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

This message now appears when I connect my ipod to itunes....
"This ipod cannot be updated. The files are corrupted and unreadable"
The ipod still works and charges, but it will no longer let me add new files to it. The contents of my ipod are still displayed as usual on itunes, so it obviously is reading it to some degree. It advises me to run a chkdsk utility, but I have no idea how to do this.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem? Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?
    Many thanks

If your iPod is corrupt then you have no choice but to restore it.
Before you do that, you may have some success getting the music off it and onto your hard drive again.
    Check out the instructions/suggestions here.

  • I can't download firefox. When I click on run, I get a window saying that the author is unknown. When I click on run in the new window, another window says the file is corrupt. What can I do about this?

I want to have firefox as my default browser. As this is a new laptop, I hasve to download firefox. As per the instructions, I click on "run" to complete the download, but instead of completing the download, a window appears which says that the author is unknown. If I ignore the window and click on run, I get another window which says the file is corrupt and I can't finish the download and have firefox as my browser.
I have windows 7 and explorer is the default browser and I want to change to firefox, but so far am being prevented from doing so. How can I successfully download firefox?

It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.
