Installation will not accept oc4jadmin password

I am trying to install BIEE on App Server 10.1.3.1 but cannot get past the administration password screen ! I am using the oc4jadmin account and using the password I know to be correct because I can log into the Application Server console using the username/password pair. When the same details are entered in the BIEE installation screens though, the error message "Unsuccessful verification of user/password pair..."
I don't understand what the problem is when clearly the username and password is correct ? I am using Identity Management 10.1.4 LDAP - how is the BIEE verifying the password ? and how is it that I can logon to the app server console using the same credentials ?
Any help is greatly appreciated !

Thanks for the suggestion. I did as the link said, changing the oc4jadmin password in the system-jazn-data.xml but I still ended up with the same problem when trying to install BIEE. As before, I could successfully log on to the ascontrol using the oc4jadmin account and password I reset in the xml file, but, the BIEE installer refuses to accept it ! :(
Anyone know where the BIEE installer is checking for the password and why the password is accepted by ascontrol but not by the installer ?

You don't need an Adobe password to download Adobe Reader. However, during the installation you may be prompted you for your system's Administrator password.

Adobe Reader will not accept my password

Adobe seems completely unreachable through any of their "contact us" links.

The free Reader does not need a password. Also, no password is required to download and install Reader. Could you give us more details about your specific problem?

I'm also getting the "invalid serial number", but I'm wanting to upgrade my 5.1 to 5.1.4 to take advantage of HDV 720p/24 support. Is the 5.1.4 update even an option still? I really don't want to be forced to upgrade to FCS2 and shell out $500, just to get this one feature that was included in a patch.
I went to the Registration page and it actually allowed me to register the serial number... (which I'm pretty sure I already had), but it still won't let me in to download any updates. Also, the email confirmation that was supposed to be sent has not arrived 20+ minutes later.
Very strange. I called Apple support and they estimated a wait time of 15 mins... ugh.

To change the iCloud ID on your devices you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted (if using iOS 7), then sign back in with your current ID.
If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, you will have to temporarily recreate it in order to delete the existing account. To do this, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

First, are you sure you have a serial number and not a redemption code? A PSE serial number is 24 digits beginning with 1057, all numbers, no letters. If you have a redemption code, here's how to get a serial number:

No. There is no standard/defaults passcode. I assume you are talking abut the lock-screen passcode. If so, just restore the iPod from backup. If iTunes asks for a passcode and you can't enter the passcode, place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore. For recovery mode:

Connect the device to the computer with which you normally sync and open iTunes.
Note: If iTunes asks you to enter the passcode, try another computer that you have synced with. Otherwise, go to "If you have never synced your device with iTunes, or you do not have access to a computer" section below.
If the device is still disabled, or if iTunes does not automatically sync your device, sync the device with iTunes.
If you have chosen to encrypt your backup, it will contain the passcode. Disable backup encryption before restoring from backup. Learn more about iOS backups in iTunes.
When the backup and sync is complete, select Restore from Backup and choose the most recent backup of your device.
