Installed 9iAS, but what is the URL? and Port?

How do I know what the URL is?
Is there a specific place where I can look for it? I remember it didn't ask for any port number or anything.
I got a screen explaining the following:
1) 9iAS portal home page
http://<machine>:port/pls/<portal_dad>
(how do i know what port is being used?)
2)Login server home page
http://<machine>:port/pls/<sso_dad>
(how do I know what port is being used?)
3) Gateway settings page
http://<machine>:port/pls/admin_/gateway.htm
(how do I know what port is being used?)

Are you doing 9iAS 1.0.2.2 install? And on which platform? If this is 1.0.2.2 install, you may see a file ports.ini in Oracle_Home/Apache/Apache. See what is the port number specified for the variable, s_apachePortNonSSL. This will be your default Apache port number in solaris platforms. In Windows platforms, you can try with the port number defined for s_apachePortNonSSL variable.
Portal is also making use of Apache port number.
One more thing is, if the default ports, 7777(solaris) or 80(Windows) are in use, installer won't ask you for any other port number to specify, but it will pickup any other free value according to the port picking criteria defined in docs.

Hello all, I could use some serious help on some major issues I have been having after installing Mavericks on my system (specs stated below). Never has a mac felt ever so rebelious and broken before in my lifelong period of using these systems. Anyway, after installing system 10.9, I had opened the mac App Store upon seeing that applications such as my iWork suite all had free updates. However, when I would attempt to navigate to the updates window, it would not respond to my various attempts. I then tried to get there by the system's menu bar and to my dismay, nothing would work when I clicked on it, not even the apple logo menu. I later quit the application using Command-Q and opened up the App Store by the apple menu option 'Software Update...' instead. Though it looked promising since the updates window did open, all update buttons or even '...more' info buttons were unresponsive. These same problems persisted even after restarting my computer. I had also attempted to see if repairing definitions would help by booting from the recovery start-disk and using disk utility but the repairs it carried out apparently had nothing to do with my issue. Finally, I was able to update to the new iWorks suite (which interestingly did not replace the iWorks '09 suite) by following the notification that asked about allowing automatic updates which I did.
Once trying to use Pages 5.0, I soon noticed that all I could do was merely type in a new document and change various options via key commands. Neither the inspector or top bar menus would respond to any place I click. Similarly, Evernote only starts up on the last used note and merely allows me to scroll through it. The top bar menus, the note select pane, and even clicking inside the note to input text are all not functioning and uninfluenced by any mouse clicks.
I have noticed other apps that will not respond to any sort of input, but I still have not explored all applications to know what the issues of each may be. However there are some applications that work such as Safari, Google Chrome, dolphin, iWork '09 including Pages '09, and others.
I do hope that I can avoid rolling back my system, but in the meantime, it has been quite the obticle course to use my computer for all of my school purposes.

I also forgot to note that this problem also persists with the new iBooks application. I cannot get past the 'Get Started' screen or access the iBooks Store. Again, all top bar menus are unresponsive.

You may also use the following URL;
http://<MACHINE_NAME>:<OC4J_PORT>/portalTools/
This will get you to the Provider test page of Portaltools application, and from this page you have links to all the providers of Portaltools.
Also, you may refer to the Configuration document for Omniportlet, this is available with PDK installation, you can access this document at;

I figured out if I took the http:// off the front of the URL, the "ok" button would highlight, but then link did not work. I tried just linking www.google.com to the image and the link did not work either. What gives?!

A look around the internet and my previous knowledge indicates this is not an issue with firefox, but with how the server that the app is run on is incorrectly configured. To test this, please install an old version of firefox. You can download an older version from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all-older.html then try to visit the website again. Please let us know if it turns out that it works with version 3.6

You need a webhosting package. With or without a domainname.
So you have to find one first.
To find webhosting type the word in the search field of your browser.
If you have internet access you can check with your ISP too.
And with a domainname it's very easy to determine the URL : http://www.yourdomainname.com

A PPC G5 cannot run any version of OS X beyond Leopard 10.5.8.
You should be able to find a Leopard retail (black) install disk on eBay. A grey update disk is machine specific and won't work.

You can transfer your purchases to computer iTunes.
Connect and select iPhone in iTunes under DEVICES, right click and choose Transfer Purchases from ...
BTW, you can alway re-download again for free if it's still available in the app store.

There is no such thing as an unlock code. Sprint may have processed the unlock, and then requested you restore the iPhone using iTunes to complete it. But that's it. There is no code to enter, and nowhere to enter it any way.

If you know the answers to your security question for the ID you can use that method to reset the password rather than email (by going to https://iforgot.apple.com/password/verify/appleid).

What does "it will not let me purchase it" mean exactly? Are you getting an error message?
