Installed Adobe CS 5.5 Design Premium on new computer... WIN 8.1... get Exit Code 6
Adobe tech support told me phone support for this version is no longer available. I am at your mercy. I would like to try to re-install by shutting down running apps in the System Configuration. and deactivating my anti-virus software. I am unsure what is safe to shut down in the Sys Config. Any help would be appreciated. If someone does not think this method is the way to go, I am open to suggestions.

Thank you Psynikk, I followed the instructions to the link you provided, Solutions 1, same result, exit code 6. I did not follow through with the remaining solutions, as I do not feel confident in messing with the configurations of my computer since the solutions are not for Windows 8.1. It is unfortunate that I won't be able to use this product fully. I am discouraged to invest my dollars in any more Adobe suites.
(This issue also occurred when I had it installed on my Vista system (exit code 7), back then Adobe Support assisted over the phone to fix the problem)
If anyone has any information that pertains to Windows 8.1 to further fix this issue I would welcome the resolution.

I purchased the Adobe Creative Suite 5 design premium program a few months ago last year. I need to know if, I Can install this program on to a Apple MacBook Pro laptop computer if, this program is for a windows pc?? Because, i tried to download it before on to my laptop and a error message poped up. If, I cannot install this program on to my laptop could you please tell me which type of Apple laptop I should purchased and also how much memory and RAM should that laptop have in order for me to use this program on it as well. My mother brought me the program from the Academic Super Store online for $510.00. When I had brought this program I had brought it to go onto my Dell Dimension 3000 desktop computer for a PC that had windows on it. Then, later on, my desktop ended up crashing on me and now i am stuck with this program and i can't use it because, i can't download it on to my Apple laptop. My mother isn't going buy another one of these programs they are too expensive to keep buying.Standalone licenses are platform-specific. If you are still eligible for ediu pricing, simply buy a current product for Mac at the discounted price. Otherwise you would have to upgrade to CS6 and make the platform switch along with it.

I am trying to move a fully licensed/registered version of Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium to a new computer, but since it was an upgrade from CS 4 Design Premium the installer says that it cannot find the software that allows it to be an upgrade. I have the old computer and still see the CS 4 installed, but cannot locate the Design Premium serial number. I do not have the original DVD or box for the CS 4 but have all for the CS 5.5.
If you sign in to your Adobe account online you might be able to find the serial number for your CS4 installation.

INSTALLING Adobe creative suite 3 Design Premium JAVA ERROR
Hi people, I'am having a problem installing Adobe creative suite cs3 on my iMac, when the dmg is loaded as the first sys check , installer give an error saying : "Java Script Alert - Critical errors were found in the setup - Imcompatible payloads already installed. Please see the Setup log file for details."
I've recently installed Processing, and needed to install Java too. I think I've installed Java sun SE. (actually I'm a Mac noob lol)
So , I think that I've just to clean all the old java sys that I installed and reinstall a compatible version of Java, right??? But I don't know How to do that actually!

This Java script Error problem, if you installed CS3, AI, PS or ID or any application already have in system or you uninstalled it, and installing again... this Java Script Error message will come.
This guide line is for Mac OS X only not for tested on Window system.
There are 2 ways to install again CS3.
1: format your system and install CS3 or remove all adobe folder your your system and install.
2: If you already installed any CS3 application and installing any other and you are getting Java Script Error message... do this, in hard disk/library/application support/adobe/... remove caps and backup folders from there and keep in safe place and install your application... hope it will install. after installing run that application... and it will run, and if you will try to run already installed application.... it will not... because you removed that application backup and caps file from adobe folder. Keep backup and caps folder in safe place and replace backup and caps folders with earlier folder which you saved in safe place. and repeat this process.
I know this is little tricky... and complicated. Better is remove all adobe files and folders from your system and install CS3 again.

Hi All,
I have bought a copy of Design Premium Student Edition.
I have installed one copy of it on my parents computer at home.
I was going to also install all the programmes on my laptop as well but I already have Illustrator CS3 and Photoshop CS3 on it. Would I be allowed to install all the programmes other than illustrator and photoshop onto my laptop and then install the Illustrator and Photoshop CS4 applications onto another computer?
If so how do I go about doing it?

How do I put Cs5 Design Premium on new computer without disk?
I purchased a copy of the Student addition of Cs5 Design Premium from a local Uni Book store. I have misplaced the disk and now have a new lap top I need to install the program on. I have tried to download the trial version but can't find it as Cs6 keeps coming up.
Thank you for answering the question unfortunatly it still only has the Cs6 link not the Cs5 which I have the serial no. for so once the trial is up for the Cs6 which I have down loaded now I will be back to the same position as I am now wondering how I can get the Cs5 on my new lap top.

Whilst my premium typekit membership has transferred, I was just offered to start a 30 Day Trial of the programmes rather than showing them as purchased.
I looked on my adobe account and there's no evidence of a paid membership there it just says 'free trial version'. Any suggestions on how to get it back? Help much appreciatedRebecca_94\\

About five applications will not install, including Adobe Photoshop CS4. Can you tell me wat the error means and/or what I should do to correctly install all applications?You've given us no system specs but you should note that installation issues are handled free of charge. You should call Adobe.

Transferring Adobe cs6 web and design premium to new windows 7 64bit pc.
I know this probably comes up alot as i have read through alot of previous threads but i cannot find a solution.
I start to download the trial.The .7z file gets to 2.5-2.6 gig and stops. So i figure its complete but the exe file wont extract any files. just get error messages.
please help me ive been trying to do this for almost a week.Launch Photoshop
Go to Help > Deactivate
Choose option delete permanently
Relaunch Photoshop and enter the serial of Design and Web Premium CS6

I had all my software, including my ‘Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium’ removed from my MacPro (OSX 10.10.2) by a Computer technician after I had inadvertently installed some malware.
Now I can’t reinstall my CS4 because the installer software wants me to identify the product from which I am upgrading, but mine isn’t on the list. The old product from which I am upgrading is called ‘Adobe Design Collection’. Furthermore, it has 4 serial numbers (one each for Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat and Illustrator), not just one, as the installer requires.
I know this can be done, as I have had it working for a long time. Am I doing something wrong now?Contact support be web chat and have them generate a working temporary serial/ challenge code for the install.

I have an old version Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium. I uninstalled it from my old computer and was trying to install it on my new computer. It copied all the files but I cant open them and it doesn't ask me for my registration info, which I have. What shall I do to get Adobe up and running?
when you were install your cs3 you should have been prompted for you serial number. were you?
if not, you probably didn't properly install cs3. copying/migrating/moving etc is problematic.
if yes, did you see any error messages during installation?
if yes, attach a screenshot of the error message.
if not, check you install logs, Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CC -

I bought a new iMac 27" yesterday, running with Mavericks OS. Attempting to download Adobe Creative Suite 5 Design Premium. Loaded software from discs. When I check for updates they fail to install. A window comes up saying "Some updates failed to install." Then under each applications it says "There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later." Have done this several times. Suggestions?
