Installed applications not showing up on last Lenovo S850 firmware

I have backup all my contacts and applications from my Lenovo S850 with Mobile Assistant (Magic Plus).
I have installed the last firmware VIBE_UI_v2.0_1447_7.5.1_ST_S850 on my phone with Lenovo Smart Assistant.
I have restored all my contacts and applications to my Lenovo S850 with Mobile Assistant. All went ok except that some of my restored applications are hidden and I cannot find them on my phone. When I have tried to reinstall them I got a message that I already have these applications on my phone. I have ignored the message and I have reinstalled these applications anyway but I still cannot find them.
One of these applications is Google Play Service.
I need help to find out how to discover if these applications are really on my phone and how to make them visible. Thanks.

I have a system with Windows 7 32-bit and several with Windows 7 64-bit. None of these systems have any problems installing Type 1 fonts or accessing same for typical Windows applications such as Word. Type 1 fonts are installed under Windows 7 (either 32-bit or 64-bit) by right clicking on the .PFM file for the font (where the assumption is that the .PFB file is in the same directory). Don't attempt to use dragon-drop to install like you may have with either Windows XP or Vista.
One further question might be whether you did a clean install of Windows 7 or you attempted some upgrade? Always do a clean install. Furthermore, do not even attempt to install the now-obsolete Adobe Type Manager product which is fully incompatible with Windows 7.

You can move apps around in iOS 7 the same as iOS 6. Press an app icon until you see it wiggle; then drag it to where ever you want it to be. Drag it onto another app to create a folder with the two apps. Tap the Home button to stop the wiggle.

Installed fonts not showing up in Font Book or other apps

I am having an issue where fonts will install, but not show up in Font Book.
I go into Font Book, go to File > Add Fonts..., navigate to a font file and click Open, the validating and installing windows will flash by, but the font will not appear in the list of All Fonts. The file will show up in ~/Library/Fonts/, but not in Font Book or any other apps.
Any clues as to what the issue is and how to fix it?

I had thought of that, but they literally are nowhere to be found in the All Fonts list. I've looked through the entire list, as well as searching for the font, but nothing.
The Windows font was a font was a completely separate family not found on my Mac at all.
I tried installing different set of fonts (ran them through the Validator and then clicking install when they all checked out), and got the following in the console:

iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases

Itunes it's not showing me the last date/time the iPhone/iPad was backed up.

I just backed up my iPhone and iPad but iTunes it's not showing me the last date/time my device was backed up. I had just done a backup about 3 hours ago. And when I go to check the backup location I see a folder there with the time it was last backed up. But it's not showing me the backup date in iTunes. I don't know what to do.
I already tried to remove the folder in App. Support-Mobile Sync and start a brand new backup. But no date.
Tried to delete and start a new iTunes folder in Music but nothing has changed
Any solution is welcome!

Bios not install error and Raid Configuration not showing physcial HDD in Lenovo

Is this a SATA hard drive by any chance? Sounds like you have an Adaptec SCSI controller, but no hard drive attached to it. Are you booting an install DVD of some sort?

Error in installing applications-Not able to install any applications

Hello,
I bought Blackberry Z3 on just 3 days back,
I am not able to install any Applications. (Example: Wikipedia, News, WhatsApp.. etc)
After download complete it is always showing " Error in installing application"
If i Check inside Myworld -? Active downloads,it is showing " utf8' codec can't decode bytes.
Please let me know how to resolve this problem.

I had the same problem what you had.
It would throw errors like, "Unable to decode...." or "Error installing the application"
I was neither able to download any applications from Blackberyy World nor sideload any android apps.
I use AirTel network.
Try removing the SIM card and install the application using Wi-Fi.
It worked for me smoothly when I did the above.

Applications not showing up in System Profiler?

Anyone know why? All it says is "no information found" and hitting "refresh" makes no difference.
Could it be somehow it uses spotlight to find the applications?
It shows up the same blank page whether I boot into 64 or 32 bit.

Applications still not showing up. I also tried a safe boot; no go. The safe boot did solve another issue I was having; my security panel in system preferences would not open. After it did in safe boot, it opens in my main administrator account.
But no go on the applications in sys profiler. However, I did install the same 10.6.5 on another internal drive with all updates, and THAT boot WILL show me all my applications, including all the ones on two parallels windows versions (XP and 7) and my bootcamp windows drive, so if I need a list, I'll do that.
I'm guessing probably a symbolic link to the applications folder is amiss or possibly system profiler preferences.
But don't know how to futz with those.

P.S. OK, I do know how to futz with the sysprofiler plist. Not the problem. Did the usual... dragged it to the trash, opened up system profiler, it created a new plist, STILL no applications showing up.
I haven't moved my applications nor anything in my home folder nor changed my name or anything. Just really strange.

Installed extensions not showing windows extensions pull down?

I have the latest photoshop CC installed, & extensions manager for CC. I cannot for the life of me understand why after installing Russell Brown's paper textures, & watercolor assistant extensions, they show installed in the exchange panel as installed, but not in the drop down window>extentions !
I have ran the extensions manager program & it says they are enabled! but no where to be seen with the PS CC window>extensions !

I've just tried installing those particular products with that version of Photoshop, and this is where they end up.
If the folders aren't there, could you please enable logging as follows and send me the log files at fgregor at adobe dot com?
Create a file called 'ExManCoreLibLog.YES' and place it in the following location:
/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CC/Log/ExManCoreLibLog.YES
Then create a file named 'ExManLog.YES' and place it at:
/Applications/Adobe Extension Manager CC/Adobe Extension Manager CC.app/Contents/MacOS/ExManLog.YES
Both log files are generated and saved in the following location:
/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CC/Log

Installed App Not Showing as Installed

I'm a bit new to the whole Creative Cloud and I've installed a bunch of the suite which shows as installed, but Edge Animate refuses to show as installed. Is there some sort of cache to clear or something to fix in order to show that app as installed or is this a limitation of the Edge software?

Maverick 10.9 - Maps Application not showing map images

Just installed Maverick and the Maps application does not show the map images (Standard, Hybrid, or Satellite) - see below. Otherwise everything seems to be working in the sense if you create a drop pin it will show the address, etc. Any ideas?

Ended up doing a clean install of Mavericks for other reasons and the Maps app now working.

Applications not showing / listing

Hi, I am usually tech savvy, but so far I have had no luck at all trying to get the applications to list on my BB Desktop Software v6.1.0.35 - only shows the apps I have installed from or have available on my PC. Does not show any other apps that are currently installed on my BB. Also, no matter how much I have removed, still shows 144MB remaining.
On the BB itself, I can see all the applications listed (even the hidden ones like BB Maps), but how do I manage these from my PC?

hmm... just keep looking. You might not have an applications or download folder. All themes and devices are different.
Look at Options > Advanced > Applications. Is your application listed there?
if so, With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.
Now, look all over the homescreen again for the application in question.

Status of my application is showing Stopping from last 6 hrs

Hi,
I am not able to start my application "Planet" in "p1940097444trial account"
From eclipse and cockpit it is showing Stopping from last 6 hours.
I am not able to even kill the process.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi Harshith,
I happened with me too! However, you can easily stop this process and retry. Go to processes and close all processes specific to your application. This should make your server in stopped status. Now, login to HCP and refresh the page. Manually stop the application. Now again try to deploy application from Eclipse on HCP Server connected to your trial account. This should get throug successfully. I am not sure why the process gets stuck randomly, but I am sure doing this would resolve your problem. I was able to.

Installed apps not showing. Says 'no apps installed yet' despite installing several.

I'm using Creative Cloud on Windows 7 but the installed apps area is blank, with the 'you have not installed any applications yet' notification. So far I've installed Photoshop, Illustrator, Muse, Acrobat and Indesign. Because of this I'm not sure if any updates are also available (but not showing) for said apps. The CC icon on my task bar also has a red exclamation mark over it.
Any suggestions?

Application not showing in Application Catalog

I have created an app containing SCCM Administration Console install with the only deployment method as Script. It is advertised to all users as "available". It seems that after I added Application Web portal roles - the app is no longer visible in standalone
Application Center. When I click on the web site link in it - it opens the web app page and application is showed as available to install. Moreover, it installs correctly from browser and shows itself in standalone AppCenter after the installation.
I tried to go through all refresh cycles on the client but with no luck - the app is present on web site but not visible in AppCenter. Please help me in troubleshooting that, what logs do i need to inspect in that case?

If you deploy it as available to all users it will only be visible in the Application Catalog, if you advertise it to a device it will be shown in Software Center.
There is nothing to troubleshoot this behavior is expected and by design.
