Well i have tried installing the CS3 Design Standard on Windows 7 the normal way, logged in and executing the installer. This works fine,
nothing says that the system requirements are not fulfilled. Everything works fine.
    It just dont work silently....
    Does anyone know whats wrong?
    Please help...

Hi, this might be a little late, but who knows, for the future reference, this is what solved the problem for me:
Each major application has a file called appname.proxy.xml in their payload folder. At the bottom of the file, simply remove the OS check:

  • Cannot re-install CS3 Design Standard on my computer.

I had CS3 Design Standard on my Windows 7 pc until a power outage knocked it out. I am having no luck re-installing it. I've completed the reinstallation disk for my Dell but still cannot re-install the design programs. The only message it gives me is "Some problems occured during installation."
The disk is fine,. I just installed it on another computer the other day. But I need HELP!!! PLEASE!!!

Impossible to tell, but you might wanna read this and this. If the problems are caused by an outtage, there's a good chance your whole operating system suffered some severe damage and you need to start from scratch, that is use a low-level format and install Windows the hard way of the disk rather than just the restore media. And naturalyl run all Windows Updates and what have you...

  • Installing CS3 Design Standard & Premium

    Hi,
A friend of mine has given me the Adobe CS3 Design Standard and Premium discs as they had the opportunity to upgrade to CS5.
I have the 2 installation discs and one video workshop discs in their box, but no other packaging.
My friend never registered or installed these items as they upgraded to CS5 before they needed to.
I'd like to install these products but I'm not sure where to get the serial number?

Was that license used as the basis for an upgrade? If so, you have no right
    to use them.

  • When I try to install CS3 Design Standard from disc I get these errors:

    Main_File_Version
    Product_Registry_Parent
    Product_Registry_Key
    Can anyone help me?
I just bought this two days ago!
And I desperately need it working!
    Thanks, Lea

So I managed to get the setup.exe to run, but it doesn't. I click on it and it looks like it is doing something and then, way to quickly for an install it finishes, and nothing happens, nothing gets installed anywhere.
I have never had software not install, this is so weird, and frustrating.
I was very excited to purchase this and be able to work from home instead of at school, and now I feel I have wasted money.
I can't even call Adobe till Monday when my home work will be late.

You don't delete Adobe apps anymore you use the uninstaller. So download the CS4 cleanscript to remove all traces of CS4 and reinstall everything.

Hi! I've got CS3 Design Standard - the actual disks and Software License certificate. It was installed on my laptop which crashed and could therefore not be uninstalled. I have now installed it on my new MacBook Pro, but cannot get it registered with the serial number. Is it because it wasn't uninstalled on the previous laptop? What to do now?? Thx!

Maybe this can help someone else...  I simply had to properly uninstall CS3 and reinstall it again after that.  I think that sorted it!  I also remember having a similar issue with Macs at work a couple of years back.  Not sure whether the same applies to CS5/CS6.  Here's a link on how to properly uninstall CS3 on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OS.  I'm on OS X 10.9.2 but it worked just fine.  Remove Creative Suite 3 and CS3 products

  • CS 6 Design Standard-Acrobat won't install

Just installed CS6 Design Standard from disc to my Mac. Education Edition. Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator all installed OK, but Acrobat Pro did not, despite checking the box at the start of the install.
Installed the trial while waiting for serial number, and Acrobat wouldn't install then either. Had a free trial which expired some time back.
    Any ideas?

The trial is a newer version of Acrobat than in the old CS6 package, and if you didn't delete it it has probably caused all sorts of problems. Try deleting Acrobat XI and trying again.

Thank you Bturko in the future only migrate/copy/transfer your documents and settings.  Adobe applications especially are not designed to be transferred from one computer to another.  It is possible to recover however.  I would recommend the following steps:
Run the uninstaller located in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers
Run the CC Cleaner Tool to ensure complete removal - Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html.
If you need to download a fresh copy of the installation files they can be downloaded at Download CS3 products.
Run the installer and reinstall Creative Suite 3.

J3liu1 I would recommend reviewing the installation log files for the specific error message which you are facing.  You can find details on how to locate an interpret your installation log files at Troubleshoot installation with install logs | CS3, CS4.  You are welcome to post any specific errors you discover to this discussion.
