I need to remove a mal add on, but that add on isn't showing up in my add on manager therefore I cannot remove it!!!!!!

Why does an installed extension not show up in my PS CC Extensions?

The Adobe Watercolour Assistant extension show up in my Extension Manager CC as being installed for Photoshop CC. However the extension does not show up in my Extensions in Photoshop CC. And it does not appear anywhere in my Adobe Exchange Panel. When I do a search inside of Adobe Exchange, I get the message, "No products found." What's going on, and how do I get the extension to show up inside of Photoshop?

I have the latest photoshop CC installed, & extensions manager for CC. I cannot for the life of me understand why after installing Russell Brown's paper textures, & watercolor assistant extensions, they show installed in the exchange panel as installed, but not in the drop down window>extentions !
I have ran the extensions manager program & it says they are enabled! but no where to be seen with the PS CC window>extensions !

I've just tried installing those particular products with that version of Photoshop, and this is where they end up.
If the folders aren't there, could you please enable logging as follows and send me the log files at fgregor at adobe dot com?
Create a file called 'ExManCoreLibLog.YES' and place it in the following location:
/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CC/Log/ExManCoreLibLog.YES
Then create a file named 'ExManLog.YES' and place it at:
/Applications/Adobe Extension Manager CC/Adobe Extension Manager CC.app/Contents/MacOS/ExManLog.YES
Both log files are generated and saved in the following location:
/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CC/Log

After loading, why does adobe flash not show up in add on manager - using firefox 5.0

Loaded adobe flash 10.3.181.34 and it worked fine. However, it does not show up in Firefox add-on manager - using Firefox version 5.0. Running win xp pro sp-3

I am unable to install extensions, they show up with "will be installed after you restart Firefox" even after I restart.
The "Staged" folder is present and remains after a restart, but the extensions do not get installed. They show in the extensions page with the "will be installed after you restart Firefox" message and remain like this no matter how many times I restart.
Any Idea's?
Running Firefox 24.0 on Windows 8.1

P.S. Just tried to install the "troubleshooter" add-on before posting the question and I got an error saying it cannot install because it cannot modify the needed file. (I did it manually instead)

It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the extensions.* files (e.g. extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

If you see disabled or not compatible extensions in "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left end side of the Search Bar to check if there is a compatibility update available.
If this hasn't helped then also delete the addons.sqlite file.

Have tried to remove ExMan.db file and restart Extension Manager (v. 7.3.2.39).
After install, the extension correctly shows in
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions
In CC folder - there's one extension (Adobe Mini Bridge)
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEPServiceManager4/extensions
Have tried to uninstall and reinstall InDesign CC 2014.
There is only CC 2014 version of the applications installed.

Is Extensions available as a menu item under Edit > Menus...
If it is, is it marked as visible?
If it is not, uninstall, run the cleaner tool (CS Cleaner Tool for installation problems | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3 ) and reinstall.

Canon MP210 just will not show up in Add Printer

Trying to help a friend get new (to her) printer added in OS 10.5.8... There isn't even a network involved, just trying to add it as simple USB.
It's a Canon Pixma MP210 and wasn't in the printer descrips, so i downloaded and installed the most recent driver for it from Canon, which is noted as good for 10.5 etc (and is CUPs to boot).
its Installer runs just fine... but printer still does not show up in Add Printer, despite restarts, printer attached, not attached, whatever. printer is not in list, "Print Using..." shows no options, and "Add" is greyed out.
The printer itself was never used by its former owner, it's like new, so it's not likely broken.
i attempted to repair permissions, and ran into no-go there too. It sticks on acquiring the database, doesn't even get to a progress bar (let it run for almost an hour, no change). Same thing when i start it up/run repair permissions from retail OS 10.5 DVD.
And this on a smallish (60GB) hard drive that has barely anything on it ....she mostly just websurfs and emails. Tho the finder is a bit slow, there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the mac (it's an iBook G4) and it passes disk first aid fine.
Suggestions?

Installed fonts not showing up in Font Book or other apps

I am having an issue where fonts will install, but not show up in Font Book.
I go into Font Book, go to File > Add Fonts..., navigate to a font file and click Open, the validating and installing windows will flash by, but the font will not appear in the list of All Fonts. The file will show up in ~/Library/Fonts/, but not in Font Book or any other apps.
Any clues as to what the issue is and how to fix it?

I had thought of that, but they literally are nowhere to be found in the All Fonts list. I've looked through the entire list, as well as searching for the font, but nothing.
The Windows font was a font was a completely separate family not found on my Mac at all.
I tried installing different set of fonts (ran them through the Validator and then clicking install when they all checked out), and got the following in the console:

You can move apps around in iOS 7 the same as iOS 6. Press an app icon until you see it wiggle; then drag it to where ever you want it to be. Drag it onto another app to create a folder with the two apps. Tap the Home button to stop the wiggle.

User Extension not showing in Corporate Directory on

I have a User whose name shows in the Corporate Directory, however his Extension not showing in Corporate Directory and unlike all other users who have a telephone Icon next to their name, his just has like a keypad icon.
Where do I start to troubleshoot this?

When I view the "End User" under User Management that User has no Phone listed for that users. I tried to find a way to manually change it, but I don't think I can because we are set to sync with AD.
So I'm thinking that the error may be in AD? What do you think?

Extensions not showing up in dwcs4 after installing successfully

I have dwcs4 & extension mgr. I have installed extensions in extension mgr. successfully according to it but when I go back into dwcs4 they do not appear under the tcn widgets tool bar. dwcs4 does appear in my extension mgr. & is highlighted in blue when I click on an extension to install it. I have noticed that the extensions do not show their individual icons next to their names but the puzzle piece instead even after I install them & get the "installed successfully" confirmation. I also notice that if I try to install them again they are still in the "c:\users\myname\documents\downloads file which I would think they should be some place else. document download. Can someone tell me how to manually place the extensions into dwcs4 so that they appear in the tcn widgets tool bar?

Adobe Extension Manager indicates that the extension is properly installed. But when I open Dreamweaver I cannot find the extension.
Is there perhaps a way to install the extension manually?

What extension? Not every extension adds a separate panel and thus an entry to the menu.

New installed components not showing in components panel in cs4

I'm currently reading the excellent book "ActionScript 3.0
Quick Reference Guide". In some chapters, the authors ask us to
install third-party components. They install well in the Extension
Manager CS4, but for a reason I don't know, they're not showing in
the Components panel...
I use Flash CS4... but I also have Flash 8 and Flash CS3
installed (in fact, all the suites) and it never caused problems
before, so I don't think that's the problem... By the way, if I
install them in CS3, they show up in the panel.
FYI, I have a French Canadian Windows XP version and I work
with English Flash versions...
Particularly, the extensions I tried are:
- as3webservice by Pieter Michels (wellconsidered.com);
- Yahoo! Astra Library (by Yahoo!, of course);
- Accordion Panel V3AS3 (by JumpeyeComponents).

Well, we're making progress...
No, there're not in that folder, but from what I understand,
they shouldn't be there either, because in that folder, it's the
place for the default ones (that comes with Flash).
The ones that we add are in the Documents and Settings
folder:
So, since I installed the same components in Flash CS3 and
Flash CS4 (because they weren't working in CS4), they appear in:
C:\Documents and Settings\Nelson Therrien\Local
Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Flash
CS3\en\Configuration\Components... Good.
Now, do they appear in Flash CS4 (path C:\Documents and
Settings\Nelson Therrien\Local Settings\Application
Data\Adobe\Flash CS4\en\Configuration\Components)... NO!!
BUT!! I don't know if it's because I tried the French version
once or because I have a French Operating System, but I also have a
fr folder (full path: C:\Documents and Settings\Nelson
Therrien\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Flash
CS4\fr\Configuration\Components) and... THEY APPEAR THERE!!
So, I copied them from the fr folder to the en folder and
Voilà! They now appear inside the Flash CS4 Components
Panel...!
