Installed iTunes 10.5, iTunes store won't load now?

Yesterday I installed the newest itunes update and now my store won't load. Is there anything I can do for it? I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and it still doesnt load.

Completely uninstalling my internet filter (CloudCare/BSecure) worked for me.  Not just disabling it or allowing iTunes; had to completely uninstall it.  Not happy, but iTunes works.

  • Itunes Store won't load.......!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

Itunes Store won't load!!! I've been trying to access Itunes for like the past, I don't know, two weeks maybe, and every time I go to it, it doesn't cooperate. It usually won't load at all, but in the off chance it does, this really weird basic screen shows up. There are no pictures, or icons like in the normal Itunes, just a bunch of boxes and links that you click on. And, the kicker is the fact that even when I click on it, nothing happens. I've tried reloading the page, disconnecting and reconnecting my Internet connection, even going as far as to run diagnostics, and reinstalling the newest software 3 times!! Nothing is working!! Please help, I would be very grateful!!!!!!!

I have the same problem.  I have 64-bit Windows 7, all updates installed, anti-virus uninstalled, and have a specific firewall exception made just for iTunes, however the iTunes Store still refuses to load.  After waiting a (very long) period of time I get the following screen:
Sometimes I won't get this screen at all, and iTunes will finish loading with a blank screen.  All of my other computers can load iTunes perfectly fine.  This error occurred directly following the iOS 5 update for my iPhone.  Seeing as that the only computer affected was the one updating my iPhone, I figure there's some connection between the two.  I have
    cleared catche, cookies, everything
uninstalled and reinstalled all Apple software and components (and end processes)
    completely deleted my iTunes library
tried creating a new account, but can't even do that becuase I can't connect to the store
tired de-authorizing and re-authroized the account
    signing-out and signing back in
    disabled parental controls
made sure I WASN'T behind a proxy server
    I
Apple Support tried to help with my request but for some reason refused to listen to the notion that this problem occured because of an iOS5 update (and iTunes 10.5).  The only thing I haven't done is wipe my harddrive, which seems to be the only option now.
    Somebody please help.

  • My ipod touch is not syncing, itunes store won't load, and icloud doesn't work!!!!!

My ipod touch is not syncing, itunes store won't load, and icloud doesn't work!!!!!

    Try the standard fixes:
    - Reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory defaults/new iPod

  • ITunes Store won't load in iTunes

I can't figure out why iTunes Store won't load in my itunes. I never had a problum with it until now. How do I fix the problum?
Message was edited by: Itunes Store not loading

When I click on Store, all it does is show a blank page, no matter how long I leave it and the loading bar goes half way while saying: Accessing iTunes Store
With those symptoms, I'd try the following document:
Apple software on Windows: May see performance issues and blank iTunes Store
(If there's a SpeedBit LSP showing up in Autoruns, it's usually best to just uninstall your SpeedBit Video Accelerator.)

  • ITunes Store won't load, can't sign in

So - our older machine - PowerMac Dual 1.8Ghz G5 - Leopard 10.5.8, 5GB ram, 1TB HD - iTunes store worked just fine until the iTunes 10.5 update.  Now the iTunes store won't load when you click on "iTunes Store" in the right column in iTunes.  Just a grey window with "iTunes Store" shows.  Also, the little link to "Sign In" does nothing.
I have repaired permissions, and have tried to deauthorize/authorize this computer.  No effect.
I reinstalled iTunes - no change
This is frustrating, to say the least.  What's going on? More importantly - how can I get iTunes to work again?  The internet is working just fine - as I am posting this from the same machine.  I CAN log in to the iTunes store via my iPhone and my MacBook Pro using the same home wifi...
    Please help!

Another observation - I just tried to quit iTunes - and it won't quit.  Activity monitor does not show iTunes using a crazy amount of resources.  It just won't quit - not via keyboard command, not by the menu item.
    Something is definitely hosed.

  • The "More" tab on my itunes store won't load on my iPhone. I can't download my Purchased songs?

The "More" tab on my itunes store won't load on my iPhone. I am on wifi and everything else is working fine. It has been happening a while now so I can't download my Purchased songs. Anybody else have this problem?

In iTunes on your computer, go to Store > Authorize This Computer from iTunes' menu.  Have your dad (or you, if you know it) enter his Apple ID and password.  Then sync again.

  • Itunes store won't load\open

So basically yeah, my itunes store won't open at all. I have no error messages, nothing. I can see its loading, then it stop and i just have a blank page.
    I have a iMac with Os X Lion 10.7.5 and iTunes 11.0.2.
    Thanks for your help!

    Hi luluflower84,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.  If you're unable to access the iTunes Store, I would first try quitting the app if it is open:
iOS: Force an app to close
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137
If the issue continues, try restarting and resetting your iPhone:
iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1430
If the issue continues, try accessing the iTunes Store through another app, such as the Music app, to see if you can access it that way.  The screenshot on this page shows the store link in the upper left corner:

  • The itunes store won't load on my computer

The store won't load; it loads halfway and then the screen goes white. I can still get to my library but i can't access the store. I've updated to the latest itunes and I'm pretty sure my computer is up to date too ( i've run two system updates and restarted it).

There are several things this could be. Make sure you are selecting iTunes Store, restart your computer, restart your modem, and check your security settings. I've seen that most times this issue is caused by security settings preventing your computer from connecting to the iTunes Store, or other servers.

  • ITunes Store won't load up!

Ok, please bare with me as this is a pretty convoluted problem and one I've fruitlessly wrestled with for a few days now.
The iTunes Store in iTunes won't load up and just gives me a never ending white page with the following on the page:
''One Moment Please.Connecting to the iTunes Store.Loading If iTunes doesn't open, click the iTunes application icon in your Dock or Windows Task Bar.''
Now I'm sure most will realise this is the holder page you'd get in your internet explorer when it pings iTunes with a store link to load, and it was when I clicked an iTunes link in Internet Exploroer 8 that this page first appeared in iTunes.
If I try to sign in, I get the (-50) unknown error, and despite all this I am abl to still comunicate with the store - if I right click on a podcast series I've already got in my libary and click 'Update Podcast' I can download podcasts through it giving me a list of undownloaded ones in the series listings in my podcast libary.
I've tried the basics; re-innstalling iTunes and restoring my system to a previous point, but nothing has rid me of this pretty deabilitating problem, and there's such a mmuddle of different problems like tihs it's hard to really get a grip on what's the issue when I'm searching here and elsewhere so I'm, hoping someone here would kindly lend me a hand and give me some directions!
I'll post a copy of a diagnostics run in my next post so you'll have all the information that's needed.

  • ITunes store won't load after upgrading to iTunes 9

Ever since I upgraded my iTunes to the new iTunes 9, I can't get iTunes store to load. I've gone through the troubleshooting, and even ran a repair iTunes and then uninstalled and re-installed the iTunes. Nothing has worked. It only loads part way with just blue boxes with ? marks in them and names of songs/artists. Plain white background and none of the links that do show go anywhere. I get this message when I try to click on a link: We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (306). There was an error in the iTunes store. Please try again later.

My daughter has iTunes 8.2.0.23 on her laptop and she could sign in with her own id and my id - so obviously there is a problem with version 9
I've uninstalled iTunes 9 and Apple Mobile Device Support thru Add/Remove programs
    Installed iTunes 8.2.1.6
Removed library file made in version 9
Opened iTunes 8.2.1.6 and successfully signed into iTunes Store
Still cannot get onto iTunes via a Touch or 2 iPhones!!!
Added all my music back onto iTunes and it is working PERFECTLY
WON'T be upgrading to version 9
    Hope this helps

  • ITunes store won't load. The progress bar freezes at about 50% and I get nothing but a white screen.

I'm running iTunes 10.5 beta 7 but this issue has been happening since I was running 9.  One day I clicked on a link for an app I saw on techcrunch and it pulled up in iTunes as being in the UK store.  I clicked ok and my iTunes hasn't worked since.  I can log into my account but can't access anything in the store or Ping.  I've googled this issue and found some similar sounding stories but none of the solutions have worked.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled, turned of the itunes store in parental settings and checked "except for iTunes U", I've uninstalled apple aplication suport and installed safari and every other option I have found and nothing has worked.
Sometimes if I let it sit long enough what looks like an unstyled version of the store comes up but is completely unusable.
Just to be clear, this has been happening since before I was running any beta software or OS.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you gchin.
I emailed apple support and they got back to me, I did what he said and it's fixed! SOLUTION found- see below.
    I said:
"I can't access the iTunes Store. When I click on it the progress bar stops at 50% and I'm left with a blank white screen (no error msg). I have uninstalled and reinstalled, run the iTunes diagnostics (it said all was ok), gone through all of the online help material and I've tried turning off my firewall. Nothing works. I can't sync my iphone either (stops on verifying iPhone so I think it's getting stuck on trying to contact the store). Plzz help."
    They replied:
"Greetings from Apple iTunes Store Customer Support! I am ########.
I understand that you have had issues accessing the iTunes Store. I know how eager you are to have this issue resolved. I will certainly assist you.
#########, for this, I recommend that you attempt to resolve this issue by once again uninstalling iTunes and QuickTime, and then reinstalling the latest version of each. To do this, first ensure that you are logged in to an Administrator user account on your computer, then follow the instructions in the appropriate article:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923
Note: Titles you purchased from the iTunes Store or imported from CDs are saved in your iTunes folder by default and are not deleted by uninstalling iTunes. Backing up your iTunes Library regularly is recommended.
After successfully uninstalling iTunes and QuickTime, please ensure you have upgraded to the latest Service Pack for Windows by installing all updates available to you on Microsoft Windows Update:
    http://update.microsoft.com
Once you have the latest Service Pack for Windows installed, download and install iTunes for Windows (which includes QuickTime):

If you continue to experience difficulty with this issue, you may wish to contact Apple technical support. A representative will be able to tell you about Apple's complimentary and fee-based support options and can help you determine which option might be most helpful.
Please find the appropriate phone number here:
