Installed iTunes 9 as advised and now I can't access store
Hi, just installed iTunes 9 and advised when trying to purchase a film and now I can't access the store. I can access my account etc but just get a blank screen when trying to access store! Have tried technical support but they say it's my computer's problem. Why? when I was on the iTunes store 10 minutes previous! Have limited computer knowledge but any help would be appreciated as I'm about to be flying and need some new films!
I have exactly the same problem. I haven't had access to the iTunes Store since upgrading to 9.0.1 nearly two months ago and none of the suggested fixes have worked for me. I use iolo as my firewall. Does anyone have any ideas?

I just installed OS10.5.8 and now I can't access my network drive
I could access it directly by going to the network window, then clicking on READYSHARE, which is the Netgear network drive with a direct USB connection, when I was running 10.4.11, but now that I have upgraded to 10.5.8, it does not show the network drive at all, when I open the network window in the finder.
that drive is not listed under USB, but I would not think it would be, since it is connected by USB to the router, not the computer. The router is connected via Ethernet. So I would think I need to find the drive in the system profiler under Network, then maybe Volumes? I am a bit lost trying to find the drive and connect to it...

Updated to itunes 10.5 and now I can't access itunes store.
Upgraded to the new Itunes 10.5 over a week ago and cannot access itunes store. I've done every troubleshooting step and unistalled reinstalled multiple time. WTH!
I made some progress. The problem is thatiTunes is looking for a certain LSP (Layered Serviice Provider). Some antivirus software (PCTools in my case, wants another one.
1) Disable andy spyware
2) run command "netsh winsock reset" and reboot.
3) Voila it works.
I don't know all the consequences of this change but somebody is going to need their products' code.
Be careful, I know this works for me, but your mileage may vary. -

Downloaded the newest version of itunes and now I can't access any of my library. It says The file iTunes Library.itl cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes. Anybody know what to do?????
I got that Exact message... I think I updated my version of iTunes and it worked correctly.

I upgraded to iTunes 10.5 and now I can't back up iTunes library to disc. In previous versions it was in file>library>backup to disc. In iTunes 10.5 that is gone!
Some of us have our enture itunes library backed up on CD/DVD - what a waste of time and effort as now presumably you can't use these discs to restore itunes on a new computer! WHY NOT APPLE?
Very unimpressed with itunes 10.5/ios5 - wifi tracking apps have been removed from the store (and won't function in ios5), it's impossible to sync photos (I have spent a whole day trying to sync my iphone 3GS with itines 10.5) to no avail and now, no CD backup facility.
I have never had problems with apple before - I was thinking of upgrading my whole system from PC to Mac but now I am doubtful - if this is typical of apple software, I will stay with windows! -
I have just upgraded to 10.8 on my macbook pro and now I can't access itunes, videos and there is no sound - anyone help?
It is an old macbook pro probably 6yo with the back lit keys - not under applecare anymore obviously. I downloaded the upgrade last night which took quite a while longer than it should have.
Anyone else experienced this and can suggest something? many thanks JoRun Software Update, wait till all the updates have finished downloading then restart the mac.

When you buy software, the serial number is really what you're buying, since the software is typically downloadable. So don't throw it away in the future.
If you registered the software before you threw away your serial number, then Adobe may have a record of your purchase.

I changed my itunes password only and now I can't update any of the apps I downloaded using the old password. I tried signing in with the old password with no luck. Can someone help please?
Have you signed out of your iTunes account on the device/computer that you are using and signed back in with the updated password ? That should 'refresh' the account on it, and you should be able to use the account's new password to download updates to its apps
