Installed iWork, but it keeps asking for a serial # and there isn't one!
Hello,
I just bought a box version of iWork, brand new. But now that I've installed it, it keeps prompting me to enter a serial number (I don't see one anywhere on or within the package) or purchase a serial number online! I cannot get past this prompt and can't use the software.

Whose account id shows in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores if it's on iOS 6) ? If it's yours then tap on it and log out of it, and your husband can then log in with his account

I have installed one copy of my PS CC at home in my windows machine which is working fine.
But I have my second copy installed in my office mac whcih keeps asking me to register and the countdown has begun. What should I do.
I tried the helper link http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/ccm-prompt-serial-number.html but I am sure things are fine on the data I have provided. Because if data was the issue my windows copy too would have asked for credentails. Please help.

I am trying to allow guests on windows to connect to shares on my Lion server but it keeps asking for a password for guest. I have allow guest users to access this share enabled but it still does not work.
Ditto. Guest accounts shouldn't have a password. No way to enter one in System Prefs...

I connect my Macbook 13" to my thunderbolt to display on my HD television but it keeps asking for a KeyChain password for "user-hp". My key keychain password is nothing but it does not want to accept and not display my screen to the Television. Suggestion

The serial number that you might have is an upgrade version & it will be asking for a previous qualifying version serial number.

OH MAN! I had the same problem for so long! I was trying to get as much information and try as many different ways as possible. None worked for me and I am guessing none worked for you either. I will try and help you out! I hope this works for you!!!
Click on your Apple ID > Type in your password > Scroll down to Purchase History > Click on it > If your account has red numbers higlighting a balance. You need to pay that first. Then you are hopefully free of that stupid security code crap! I hope this helped you! -

Installed update, acrobat 9 keeps asking for key
Purchased Adobe Acrobat 9 standard as an upgrade from Acrobat 6 in 2009. Has worked perfectly since then...until now. An update was downloaded and installed. Now it keeps asking for the key from Acrobat 6, which I no longer have. How do I fix this?

I lost my logic 8 pro serial number. I can't find the booklet that comes with the serial number. How can retrieve this? I upgraded from logic pro 7. I changed hard drives and now it keeps asking for the serial number. But I can't find it. Where can I request it? Thanks!
If you still have the receipt or other proof of purchase, you can ask Apple to send you the serial. Otherwise, bad luck mate.. Good news is, you can now buy Logic Pro 9 from App Store for just 199 USD

Try the advice here. I had the same problem and it worked for me.
You have to delete the "SC Info" folder from /Users/Shared. You will have to use Terminal to enable you to see this folder first. Make sure iTunes is not running when you delete the "SC Info" folder
There is an article from Apple on this here. The "SC Info" folder contains iTunes authorization information.
I did this two weeks ago and iTunes accepted by login. I haven't been asked for my AppleID or password since. -
