Installed update on 9-29-2014 and after update some of the apps will not work properly or not open NOT GOOD
Never had an issue in the past but now considering other alternatives. have purchased in the last 5 years 3 Ipads and2 minis
that's a lot of money for something that long longer works BAD BAD BAD

I was having major problems too. I ended up completely uninstalling itunes then downloaded it again from http://www.apple.com/itunes/. If you're using firefox, for some reason itunes will not download and I don't know if using googlechrome will also have problems,so just to be sure that it will work on your first try, use internet explorer when you download itunes. People are dissatisfied with the new update a lot, including some of my friends and acquaintances. Is it reasonable to wait until Apple implements the possibility to return to Ios Ios 6 to 7? And how soon it can be done?

I have a similar issue. I recently purchased an iPad Mini, and I started off by backing it up from the apps I had on my iPhone. Now, I have a number of apps that never downloaded and that I don't want on the iPad. Some of these are apps that I don't need, while others are the iPhone versions of apps. There are something like 23 apps that I have no use for, but iTunes tries to install every time I connect. I've also tried clicking the 'Will Install' buttons. There's no way to delete these apps from the iPad without first installing them, as far as I can see, and there's no way to NOT install them, in iTunes.
It''s not just annoying, it's causing problems with installation of larger files and movies. Now, every time I sync to the computer, I get a warning that I'm over capacity by 580 MB, and larger apps will not install! Clicking Revert and a bunch of other things doesn't work, either. And I can't just delete some of the apps, because I or my wife use them on our phones!

Earlier iTunes (and supporting applications) need to be completely uninstalled before you can install the new version. Here's the complete Apple info on this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923
Mobile device application will most likely fail to uninstall, so you would need to visit its location(s) and manually delete the files then folder(s). The location of the folders is documented in this link from Apple.
It's a pain, but it should work.

I have tried to install at different times over three different days with the same result each time. My version of Bridge now no longer shows DNG files except as an icon. The update is supposed to install Camera Raw version 9.

I had the 204 version of your error using the direct download links proved on this thread solved my problem.. hope you have same success... had to log off/in cloud manager before it showed all apps updated

Possible iTunes issue:
Try the following after adding photos.
Go to file
Then Home Sharing
Select photos to share
Click on All Photos already selected Do anyway
When Apply turns black click on Apply
Now go to Apple TV to see if photos there
Or restart iTunes.
Works for me every time photos do not appear on my Apple TV 3

Did you update the apps? Check app store. Most of them had updates to support the iOS 5.1.1. It's been out a while

The same thing happened to me today. I trusted the "update" message since it was from Adobe, and apprently did so at my own peril. Now I get the "failed to load Core dll" message with a secondary reference to a memory address.
Just an observation, but what good are these forums when there are no answers? I see this problem as "Caused by Adobe Update", and would expect them to troublshoot and offer up a remedy. Since you've been waiting over two months with no response, I suppose it's time to trek off wasting more of my precious time to fix their problem. If I find the solution, I'll post it back to you.

Hello, I clicked on the download and install option for the latest update to my ipod touch. I think it was 2.2.1, but I'm not 100% sure. Anyway, now I have to hold the power button down several seconds, and I see the apple logo, and then the itunes icon with the USB plug which indicates I need to connect to itunes. When I plug it in to the pc, I get prompted that I have installed new hardware and need to install the device drivers. It is not recognized by itunes or my pc. Please help!!

Hello, all, my ipod touch is now working. Here's what happened...I called the tech support line and started going through the automated stuff. It started me with the reset which I had done numerous time. It then mentioned trying a different USB port. I figured it was a waste of time, but then I decided what the heck, so I tried the other usb port on the front of my pc. When I did this, it recognized the ipod in ituned and gave me a mssg that it needed to be restored. I clicked on the restore link, and minutes later it gave me an error message on the restore, and the ipod showed the apple on the sreen instead of the itunes logo with the usb cord. I then tried it back in the original usb port, and received the same windows prompt to try to install drivers that I had been getting all along. I put it back in the second USB port, and got the restore message again with it being recognized in itunes. This time it successfully completed the restore. I know it sounds simple, but if you have not tried a different USB port, be sure you do. Maybe the download jacked up my USB port? Anyway, I'm working again with the 2.2.1 download. Installed latest updates, now PB won't start up!

i installed the latest software updates for my powerbook g4 (running leopard) and it restarted normally after finishing the install.
after it restarted, i opened camino (my web browser) to check my gmail and when i signed in to gmail a dialogue box kept popping up saying that it "could not connect to spell check". huh? so then camino froze up (spinning color wheel of death) and i force quit it. when i tried to open it back up, the dock icon just bounced continuously and it never opened. so, i force quit it again. then i tried to open firefox, and same thing... bouncing dock icon, no firefox.
i went to restart the computer again, and it froze up during the restart process and i had to just push the power button to shut it off. then when i pushed the power button to turn it back on, it would not restart. it goes through the grey screen with the apple logo and the progress wheel, and then the screen goes black, and then goes back to the grey screen w/apple logo and progress wheel, screen goes black again, and repeat. i finally just shut it down.
any ideas *** might be going on here? i installed 4 updates, if i remember correctly one was for itunes, one was for my ipod nano software, one was a security update and one was for ilife. i have no idea why installing apple updates would totally fry my laptop... any help is appreciated.
p.s. i have tried resetting the PRAM to no avail. nothing happens. on another note, my battery has not been charging for the last couple of weeks (if the laptop is not plugged in to the ac adapter, it dies immediately). this is the second battery i have for this PB... the first one was recalled.

ok... i just got back from the apple store genius bar and the tech was able to boot my computer up to another mac using a fire wire cable so that i could transfer my files off (i have an emac, so when i got home i hooked them together with a fire wire cable, pressed and held the 't' key while starting the PB up, and it booted as a drive on my emac so i could copy my important files over).
my next step is to send it out to apple service. unfortunately i don't have apple care coverage, but it will only cost $310 plus tax to fix EVERYthing that is wrong with it. this works out to be a pretty good deal since i'm fairly sure i need a new logic board, dc inboard, battery, and lower memory slot. hopefully they'll be able to fix all that and send my PB back to me good as new.
unfortunately, i don't know how to solve the 'not being able to start up' issue, and i'm sorry to hear others are having the same issue. the tech at apple was not able to get my PB to start back up even after resetting the PMU. hopefully someone else will find a solution to this... as for me i'm just going to bite the bullet and send it out to get fixed.

HP Power Advisor has stopped working after installing latest updates

I have been using HP Power Advisor successfully on my Lenovo X230 running Windows 7. After installing the latest Power Advisor updates it no longer works. I can select a voltage from the dropdown on the Input Voltage screen but nothing happens when I click on the Go button, as if it is disabled. I've tried re-installing the download package which works fine but it stops working again as soon as I install the latest updates. Any ideas how to solve this?

Well on the website for HP power Advisor, it specifically says,
"Accurately estimate power consumption of your HP server and storage products"
There could be many different things interrupting your use of the program, but I'm going to say that maybe your largest problem with using the HP software designed for HP machines is your Lenovo.
