Installed new '08 update and lost my '08 files

So, I had played with designing an '06 before iLIfe '08 arrived. I installed '08 and got a few days into creating a new site. Things are going well...
Today, I installed the update which said something about working with '06 stuff. Now, I open iWeb and it is back to my '06 stuff from a couple weeks ago.
(I tried looking at the .sites2 -- found it, opened it and it was the '06 one. I guess this update "fixed" that.)
I really need to get my '08 stuff back help

First make a new folder on your desktop, go to Home Folder/Library/Application Support/iWeb, copy the domain file and paste it into the new folder. You can put it in your Home folder and call it "iWeb Domain" or something exciting.
If you have an external drive you can back it up there.
You can download Apple's Backup 3 from .Mac and set it up to automatically backup your domain file - or anything else - to your iDisk.
Login to .Mac at ....

..... click Backup - just below the calendar in the left column - where you can read all about it and download the application.
You can set it to auto backup at any time interval you want and also backup manually by launching the application every time you make major changes to your website.

I find that changing some settings in your syncing options will get syncing working again, like enabling Manually manage music and videos.

Installed New VGA Card and Lost Audio

(Please forgive my ignorance or stupidity when it comes to any computer knowledge. In 'Layman's Terms', I am what you would call an idiot when it comes to computers, sorry...)
I just installed MSI VGA Card 'MD512D3', 512MB, DDR3 onto my HP Pavillion a1710n desktop computer that is running Windows 7 and after the installation, the first thing that I noticed was the fact that all of my computer's audio had disappeared. I have been trying to trouble shoot the problem through various forums and I have tried pretty much every single solution that had been given to others with the same sort of problem. But then it occurred to me, why don't I uninstall the new VGA card and run the computer without it like I had been doing before. so I did the uninstallation and immediately, the audio drivers appeared in my Windows update and so now I have audio again on my computer. But my question is this, the audio that I was using prior(and here is one of the times that you will need to forgive my ignorance), I believe they were analog. The best way that I could describe them is that they had the connections to the computer that were color coordinated, i.e. "green" "pink" "blue", etc and I was primarily just using the "green" connection for basic stereo sound(nothing fancy). I just happened to look at the box for the new VGA card and it specifies that it has HDMI Output which, if I am not mistaken, is a digital output that requires a completely different connection. Can someone explain to me(in the most BASIC of terms), if this is, in fact, a digital output that requires a different set of speakers for audio or if I am able to use the 'analog' speakers that I currently have? Now, keep in mind that I would LOVE to just go out and purchase the most expensive and up to date audio products but I am limited by my income...thanks in advance for any information that you are able to provide me...Dan

The card supports Audio via HDMI. If you connect it via HDMI to a screen with speakers or speakers connected to the screen which is connected via HMDI the Nvidia HD audio is used. If Scrren has no speakers Nvidia HD audio can't be used. It should then use the soundcard or onboard sound of your board which the spreakers are connected to.

Just installed new Mac update and my typing is wrong

It only does this on firefox, I'm using chrome now to post here but..
I installed the update and now when I try to type in firefox, the letters are different. I type apple.com and it brings up my previous visits to apple.com but it shows up as "ettpi2gsq" in my address bar. Anyone else having this issue? I tried to update with firefox but there was none. It was fine before the new mac osx update

I'm having the same problem here. Had my logicboard replaced a couple of weeks ago and it was working honey sweet. Temps were in the 28 ~ 31 range. After the firmware this morning, my temps are at 67 ~69. Obvously there is a way of controlling the temps with the firmware, I hope apple fixes this quickly before I have another logic board fry on me.

Installed 2nd Security Update and lost ALL ENTOURAGE Accounts

I installed the second of 2 security updates from apple.
The first one caused safari to crash on certain web pages, the second update released last night was installed, I then restarted the computer as required and when it turned back on, All my Entourage Email accounts (4), 4,000+ emails that were categorized in folders all gone and it is running the initial setup..Also, entourage is very slow to start, it bounced about 7 times, then slowly opens and acts like its my first time.
I am freaking out! Is anyone having the same problem?

Hello bbryson68, I'm sure you've just over-looked it.
The answer is to click on Adjust above the Clip in Viewer, this will bring into view a adjustments bar also above the Clip.
Now you just have to select the speed via the Turtle icon. Once the clip has been speed-up or down, you'll get a Slider
over the clip in question & a Rabbit icon indicating the clip has been speed-up.
If you want to keep audio undistorted check the Preserve Pitch checkbox above the viewer.
The Clip Slider & icon of Rabbit appear in the Clip-Trimer window below the main Clip, also check your Pref's to see if you have
Apply Slow Motion checked? This will slow or speed up all other clips to the first clip.

That suggests that the installer is getting damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

Check for previous backups in iTunes. Use iPhone Backup Extractor and extract contacts from iTunes backup if they exist.

Developers) to the new Mars version (seperate fresh installation), but I keep getting an error, which I was unable to resolve.
The workstation has to use a corporate proxy and it was always a little bit tricky to get the Eclipse Marketplace and Install New Feature/Update working. My Luna Eclipse is configured (network settings) to use "Manual" as Active Provider, with the correct host + port + user + password combination. I also got the known bugs

The network access seems to work because Mars can load the dependency tree of a Marketplace plugin. Every other combination in the network settings fails because of the corporate proxy.
So, any suggetions how to find the root cause? It's quite possible the corporate proxy is misconfigured, but I hope you can help me finding the difference between the working Luna and the (for me) broken Mars, so I know what has to be configured differently. Something seems to be changed in the way the packages are downloaded.
