1. Since you "upgraded" to Mountain Lion (presumably from Snow Leopard) partition your hard drive or add an external hard drive and install Snow Leopard and use the "dual-boot" method to access Microsoft Office 2004 when needed; or

S5 updated to Lollipop 5.0, now cellular data does not work
My Galaxy S5 phone automatically updated to Lollipop 5.0 last night and now I am having connectivity issues using cellular network. I click on my chrome icon and the internet page comes up. I type in a web address and it will just keep showing the loading "circle". Eventually it will time out and exit me back to the home screen. If the page does load, it only does a partial load. If I scroll to the bottom of the page where the load ends, it will kick me back out to the home screen or continue to load without actually loading. I have turned the wi-fi off. I have toggled airplane mode. I have toggled celluar mode. I have pulled the battery. I have wiped the cache partition.
Having the device searching in global mode for a signal can cause the battery to drain more quickly than if it were only looking for the CDMA or LTE networks for voice and data. I would also make sure that the display is set to auto, and that you're only using the vibrate function when you need to in order to make the battery last longer through the day.

i have tried to install new update on iphone 5 and now it wont turn on when i plug it in the charger it just shows i need to connect to itunes.
Given the state your device is in you have already erased your old stuff. You have an image on the screen that says, "Connect to iTunes." That's what the image means. So you will need iTunes on your computer.

i am new to mac air. Today i installed (unsuccessfully!) MAPLE16 on my mac book air. Now since it does not work properly (it also does not appear in applications) i decide to delete it. I could not remove it from launchpad . i need urgent help from your side.
Any third-party software that doesn't install by drag-and-drop into the Applications folder, and uninstall by drag-and-drop to the Trash, is a system modification.
Whenever you remove system modifications, they must be removed completely, and the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the developers, or to follow their instructions. If the software has been incompletely removed, you may have to re-download or even reinstall it in order to finish the job.
I never install system modifications myself, and I don't know how to uninstall them. You'll have to do your own research to find that information.
Here are some general guidelines to get you started. Suppose you want to remove something called “BrickMyMac” (a hypothetical example.) First, consult the product's Help menu, if there is one, for instructions. Finding none there, look on the developer's website, say www.brickmyrmac.com. (That may not be the actual name of the site; if necessary, search the Web for the product name.) If you don’t find anything on the website or in your search, contact the developer. While you're waiting for a response, download BrickMyMac.dmg and open it. There may be an application in there such as “Uninstall BrickMyMac.” If not, open “BrickMyMac.pkg” and look for an Uninstall button.
You generally have to reboot in order to complete an uninstallation.
If you can’t remove software in any other way, you’ll have to erase and install OS X. Never install any third-party software unless you're sure you know how to uninstall it; otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
You may be advised by others to try to remove complex system modifications by hunting for files by name, or by running "utilities" that purport to remove software. I don't give such advice. Those tactics often will not work and maymake the problem worse. -

I tried to update my photo albums in my Iphone 4S. I could not, and the old photos were removed. I tried again to copy the albums in the Iphone from a PC Windows XP folder and it does not work.
You can't activate any GSM iPhone without a valid sim card installed in the phone.
So, yes, you need to get a sim card. -

If you restored to factory settings/new iPod and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

I was trying to sync and update my phone with ITunes, about 5 minutes into the process everything stopped. Now the phone does not work, it will not turn on or off, the screen of the phone shows the Apple Logo and a straight line. ITunes seems to not "see" the phone. Suggestions??

To show the battery percentage used go to settings
from there click general scroll to usage and select
scroll to bottom of page for battery usage select on.
This will show the icon battery and the percent numbers on the top right.
When phone is connected to an outlet sometimes it does not always show complete charge. I do not understand why but it is what it is.

I have an iphone 5s and it is synced to itunes and works fine. previously I have downloaded audiobooks to my wifes 6th gen nano using this account - now I tunes does not recognize the device and also it seems that it is not being read by the computer?

It might be the graphic driver not compitable with the graphic device. Has there been a change to the graphic driver?
One thing you can try is to uninstall graphic driver and download the latest from Windows Update (if you haven't tried this). Here are the possible steps:
1. Go to Control Panel->Hardware and Sound->Device Manager, uninstall the graphic card driver by right clicking and select "uninstall". Make sure the option "Delete the driver software for this device" is selected.
2. Reboot the system.
3. Go to Control Panel->System and Security->Windows Update, click on "Optional updates" and find the driver for g210 and do the update.
