Installed OS6 (6.0.0.448) on my Bold 9700, but feel I have downgraded

Question

Installed OS6 (6.0.0.448) from my mobile provider, Wind Mobile in Canada
I upgraded to OS6 last night, but in many ways I feel I have downgraded:
1. No Column view in the browser and as a result the shortcut has also been eliminated.  Cannot understand the logic of eliminating this feature.  I heavily relied on it.
2. The "p" shortcut in the browser no longer provides the copy and send link feature.  Now you have to to press the menu button and select copy link or send link. A step backwards and much more cumbersome than OS5.
3. From the the Address Book, you cannot send a contact's details to a Messenger Contact.  You actually have to go to the Messenger Contact in BBM and then press the menu button and select send address book contact and then select the Address Book contact.  Seems backwards and cumbersome from OS5.
4. I sync my personal pictures on my computer with my BB, hence I have approximately 10 thousands compressed pictures on my BB media card.  When I view them through the "picture" application in the Media center, it no longer follows the directory tree structure like OS5 did; hence it is very painful to go to a certain directory through the "picture" application.  Currently I am working around this by using the "explore" feature in the Media center, which is sluggish and seems buggy as many times it is showing a blank screen instead of the picture.  Far from ideal.  OS5 was sleek handling pictures.
5. I also have about 1,500 songs on my BB and for some reason the music player in the media center uses just about a dozen album art/cover pictures for all my songs.  Did not have this issue with OS5, it always showed the correct album art/cover for each song.  In OS6 when I play a song using the "explore" feature in the media center it then shows the correct album art/cover in the music player, hence once again the application is buggy.
6. The "set alert" feature in BBM was removed, I think, after OS4.5, but I always hoped Blackberry would bring it back.  I never understood why it was removed because it was such a powerful feature as it would alert you the moment your BBM message was read by the intended recipient.
Overall, I feel disappointed by OS6.  There was a lot of hype, hence I really thought it was going to be an advancement and not such a big step backwards.  Right now I wish I had my OS5 back.
Maybe I am missing something about OS6 and how to correct for the above issues.  Would appreciate any help.

In addition to the six items I listed above, I have found two more browser features that have been removed from OS5 to OS6:
1. The option to view actual size of an image from the browser menu has been removed. Why?
2. The ability to choose low, medium or high resolution loading of web page images has been removed from the browser settings.  It seems the setting in the OS6 browser is permanently set for loading low resolution web page images.
