Should I uninstall and reinstall, and if so does that cause additional problems?

I'm having the same problem. I used it one day and everything was fine...next day, nothing will open. Tried uninstalling and re-installing numerous times but no change. Tried to contact support and they don't support this product (I just purchased it in August). Am VERY disheartened with their customer support.

I updated Firefox to 33.1 like a dutiful Firefox user. Since then, I haven't been able to successfully use Firefox. It tries to open a page and crashes immediately. I also managed to read a few other discussions about Pages and files not being able to open. I actually went to the last back-up and restored the computer from that and everything seemed to work ok again, which is great!...advice from another discussion I think you may have been involved in PeterB. Thanks for the advice...also this advice, as I will make a note of trying to open using the Shift key if it happens again and see what happens...might be an easier first option than restoring from a back-up. Thans heaps for the help!
I was interested to read some of the other discussions where it was stated that Pages '09 seems to be a better option to use. I have both installed, so I will lkeep this in mind. Thanks heaps!

I think you mean "there is only iWork.com". iWork is the name of the 3 software programs. iWork.com is a web site.
You can use iWork.com till 1 August. (Apple is shutting down iWork.com from 1 August.) After that date you'll have to use iCloud, though it's available now to use. See Re: How to upload a document to iCloud from Mac?
NB This process is a bit clumsy. Apple have said they'll be improving iCloud in OS X Mountain Lion. But this new version of OS X won't be available till end of summer (or winter if you're in the other hemisphere).
Note also that iCloud only syncs documents between your devices. It doesn't share documents with others. If you need to do this you should consider another service like DropBox, Google Drive or Microsoft Skydrive.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with your iPhone. I also apologize, I'm a bit unclear what issues you were having that led up to the attempted Erase All, and/or exactly what behavior you are seeing now (restarting, not responding at all, etc). If you are seeing an Apple Logo screen and your iPhone does not appear to be starting correctly, you may find the following articles helpful:

Did you check your security software (firewall)?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

-- Did you download in Mac iTunes? or directly in the iPhone?
if in Mac iTunes: check the following Finder location: Startupdisk->Homefolder (yourname)->Library->iTunes->iPadSoftwareUpdates : the downloaded file should be there and be complete the extension should be .ipsw, if it is not there or not complete you should download again.
if in the iPhone: notice that the install phase and verifying phase and restarting phase need (good) internet connection.

Open Application > Utilities > System Profiler and check the Quicktime version in Frameworks vs. the version in Applications. One person had re-installed their operating system. It had kept the newer Player application but had reverted to an earlier version of the underlying support framework files which many applications utilize. Re-installing Quicktime 7.7 took care of the problem. Do this manually, not with Software Update.
Installation get stuck at "configuring installation" - https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2592979?threadID=2592979 - uninstall Quicktime before installing.
