Installed PhotoShop CS4 but there's no Bridge

I've just bought Photoshop CS4 and installed everything that I could. But nothing other than photoshop can be found on my computer. When I try to hit the "launch bridge" icon in photoshop it just sits there and doesn't do anything.
Please help! I love this little program!

You need to add j2me-polish jar in your project to make use of it. Go through j2me-polish tutorial to know how to develop app using it.

I had a trail version of cs4 photoshop, and then I trashed it when I bought CS4. I installed all the programs excapt it wont install photoshop. When I put the disks in to try and install it again, I just get a list of all the cs4 programs that I have installed in my comp. And photoshop is not on the list. How can I install it? What kind of computer?
What Adobe CS package is it (e.g., "master suite")?
Where did you buy a CS4 package recently?
What error message(s) (if any) did you get when you initially installed the software and Photoshop wouldn't install?

Problems installing Photoshop CS4, keeps getting stuck on "installing Adobe Air." Tips?

I'm trying to install Photoshop CS4, but it keeps getting stuck on "installing Adobe Air" every time. Freezes, makes no more progress, eventually I have to force quit. I've even downloaded and installed it (Air) separately, but it keeps getting stuck on it in the CS4 install. Any tips? I'm running 10.8.5 on a MacBook Air. Saw something about deleting Adobe FlashPlayer to maybe fix it? Any and all tips welcome. Thx.

Googling only comes up with a couple things where someone was trying to
install a cracked version they downloaded, so it could be a corruption
problem.
If this is a downloaded installer, then redownload it and try installing,
again.
If you are inserting a DVD and autoplay is starting up and you get this
message, you can shut down the installer process as you've done then instead
of double-clicking the DVD, use right-click Explore to view the files
directly on the DVD without running AutoPlay, then find the setup.exe or
something.MSI with EN in it's name to run the installer, directly, without
goint through autoplay. This would only make a difference if the autoplay
is corrupted somehow but everything else is ok. Since your error message
talks about autoplay then maybe that is the case.
If you are calling Adobe for support, it can take hours, depending on when
you call.
This "open letter to Adobe customers" was posted within the last few days
and basically apologizes for poor support, recently, while they change from
support-provider to another:

Please do not use the post title to post the entire question (no offense, it just makes the forum look ugly). As for your question - you really did install it? I mean with serial and install disc? If so, the update would work, because it would find the proper install info. That not being the case, there are a few things that may be wrong:
- due to you language settings, the installer cannot find the folder because it has a different name (though on Vista, that shouldn't be an issue)
- at some point, you used the CS4 Clean Utility/ Script to remove install info
- you are using a pirated copy that you may have bought on eBay or elsewhere that has a modified installer to circumvent licensing
- you are using an unlicensed version a "friend" gave you and that never was installed, but merely copied to the harddrive
That pretty much covers the immediate options, now it's up to you to tell us, which one may apply. Assuming, we are talking about perfectly legit software, re-installing it from the original media should take care of the problem. For illegal software, you should understand, that you are utterly on your own and nobody will help you, much less on the forums of the company producing the software.

Find your serial number quickly
You can activate software without following up and registering it... at least that was the case in the past. The serial number is normally located on the disc case or a box inside the main box. If you did not purchase the disc from Adobe then it is possible you would have dealt with a redemption code, in which case it would have been up to you to keep a record of the serial number, especially if you did not follow up and register the software.

Tina Hadley did you migrate/transfer your applications over to your new Macintosh? If so this could cause problems with your serial number being recognized. Please run the available uninstallers located in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder. Once this is done you will also want to run the CC Cleaner Tool. I already tried every step on the support site, but Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator still don't work. So this is an S.O.S. here...

I've repaired many a 150:30 error using this method. First make sure your account is an Administrator type.
When you type sudo <space> and drag LicenseRecover.py into the Terminal window, this is what you should see when you press Enter.
Type in your admin password if any, and let the script run and finish.

Unfortunately, that data does not help me in the least.
However, I would check that ALL languages match. With Adobe installations, you have the opportunity to choose the language for the installer, and then again for the installation of that program. You OS will have language, keyboard and then the Time/Place settings. I'd make sure that they all match, as many have had issues installing where there was a mismatch in the languages. Check everywhere, that they match.

PS is this the download version, or the DVD version? Is this a trial, or a full-paid version? If former, where did you get the download, and if the latter, where did you get the file, or the DVD?

The Adobe Cleanscript CS4 should take care of things. On the Premiere fora, we normally recommend that one run it several times, rebooting between each.
Also, here is a general CHECKLIST for installing most Adobe programs.

Can't install photoshop CS4

I am using windows XP SP3 and tried to install photoshop CS4 many times. But every time, after a certain extent of the completion of the setup, my system automatically restarts. I checked the setup log file and found that the last line of the log file is same each time I try to install it. That means some particular operation is creating some problem. The last few lines of the setup are as follows:
