installed photoshopcc should I now uninstall CS6? CC runs out of memory very quick after using for a couple of days. I have used the purge function, no help. thinking I might as well remove CS6 & it's Bridge function. 32bit 4Max ram

Ah yes, that's right, been awhile since I've worked with a 32 bit system. My mistake.
Honestly, if CC isn't running well on your system, why not continue using CS6? Anything in CC you must use? Or upgrade; worth it in my opinion, but not everyone's. As to the scratch disk, I'm assuming that's a disk drive? You're going to get much better performance out of an SSD than dedicated HDD. And if your OS/Photoshop isn't on an SSD, that's probably the single biggest performance gain per dollar spent you can get. Makes a significant difference, in my experience.

UPDATE: A friend on Facebook has given me his advice: "I uninstalled LR5 yesterday ...... seemed ok". I know him personally, and trust him so I took the plunge by removing LR5 (being careful not to uninstall LR CC!). I also used a utility program to clean up the registry and any lingering LR5 program files. One day on, and my new Lightroom CC is running just fine. Thanks to everyone who added support to my original question.

You can have both Adobe Photoshop CC and Adobe Photoshop CS6 on the same system and both will work fine.
In case you need to remove photoshop CS6 from your system, you will first have to deactivate it so save the activation count which you can use it for the future to reactivate.
Activation:
Make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet.
Start the application.
Choose Help > Deactivate and choose one of the following options.
Deactivate or Suspend Activation. These options deactivate the software but retain licensing information. Choose one of these options if you want to temporarily deactivate the software, and you're planning to activate on this computer again.
Deactivate permanently. This option deactivates the software and removes the licensing information from your computer. Enter the serial number again if you want to use the software on this computer.
Deactivation:
CS6: You log in with your Adobe ID to activate your software when you install it or within the first seven days of use. Follow the steps below.
Steps:
Make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet.
Start the application.
Choose Help > Activate. (If this option is dimmed, you've already activated your software)
Log in with your Adobe ID (usually your email address) to activate your software. If you don’t have an Adobe ID, you see an option to create one.
Optional (CS5 & earlier): After you activate, also register your Adobe product for faster and easier access to support and upgrades.

I had all my software, including my ‘Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium’ removed from my MacPro (OSX 10.10.2) by a Computer technician after I had inadvertently installed some malware.
Now I can’t reinstall my CS4 because the installer software wants me to identify the product from which I am upgrading, but mine isn’t on the list. The old product from which I am upgrading is called ‘Adobe Design Collection’. Furthermore, it has 4 serial numbers (one each for Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat and Illustrator), not just one, as the installer requires.
I know this can be done, as I have had it working for a long time. Am I doing something wrong now?

Contact support be web chat and have them generate a working temporary serial/ challenge code for the install.

Some people have reported reinstalling the Apple 2014-001 Java update has helped.

In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever.

Not necessary. CC will recognise existing installs and simply substitute the licensing.

The 3G cannot be updated to iOS6, it can only go to iOS 4.2.1.
Activation issues are generally the result of the device being hacked or jailbroken.

Do you have icloud account? You need firstly turn off find my iphone (by go to icloud.com -->sign in --> go to "Find my iphone" and erase your iphone in it). And then you restore your iphone with DFU mode.
When you erase your Find my iphone and if you can not restore, your iphone has a problem with hardware.

I've recently installed snow leopard and now my Canon MX860 won't scan. I've reinstalled the scan driver from the Canon website. Any other ideas?

I suggest that you open Print & Fax, select the MX860 under the scanner heading and remove it using the minus button. Then, still in Print & Fax, click the plus button to add the scanner again. The Add Printer browser will appear and with the Default icon selected the MX860 should appear as a printer and a scanner. Select the scanner entry and ensure the Print Using menu changes to Canon MX860 series. Click Add to complete the creation of the new scanner queue. Now test the new scanner by selecting it in the Print & Fax > Scanners list and then pressing Open Scanner.

What I should do now

Last night I installed 1.1.1, first time I received error 1634(or something like that) then I tried again, everything is fine. After phone restart that show "Incorrect SIM", I already went AT&T to replace to the new sim card, still no working, then took to apple store, they stated my iphone is unlock, the IMEI# inside my phone is not match the phone, but how can that be? I bought it from Apple Store (still have my receipt), so how can that be unlock phone?
Apple tell to talk to AT&T, then AT&T tell me to talk to Apple.
What I should do now?

I had purchased an 8GB iPhone on the first day they were available for sale, and was extremely excited about the device.
A month later, I used a ringtone program to allow me to use ringtones on my phone, as Apple had not yet released any software supporting this feature.
I have had no problems with my phone, and had actually restored the phone to remove the conflicting ringtone software.
On September 27th, I updated to Apple's 1.1.1 iPhone firmware, which then proceeded to make my iPhone inoperable.
The phone displays an 'Incorrect SIM Error' and asks for a new unlocked ATT Sim card. I have been to AT&T and have tried 3 different new sim cards, all to no avail.
I called Apple support on 9/28/2007 and spoke with "James", case #84820480, and he told me that I had broken my phone using the ringtone software and the phone was no longer usable, not for AT&T, Pre-paid AT&T, T-mobile, nothing.
I then asked to speak to James' supervisor, and spoke to "John". John was very helpful and set up an opportunity for me to return my phone, and transferred me to Apple iPhone Support.
I then spoke with "Scott Simmons" who proceeded to ask me for my IMEI information, my Serial Number, and after an hour of waiting, he got back to me and told me I had voided the warranty on my phone and they would not be able to service the phone for me.
I asked Scott to explain my situation, and here are his words, paraphrased, "your phone was working on September 26th when the 'software modification' had previously been applied, and on September 27th, after installing firmware 1.1.1, your phone was inoperable. The firmware from Apple did not cause the phone to be inoperable, but rather the 'software modification' did."
Even though the phone was completely operable prior to this update, it was not the 1.1.1 firmware that resulted in my phone becoming inoperable.
I have been a loyal Apple customer, only becoming the first iMac owner last June. I have since owned a White Macbook, Black Macbook, and now own a 15.4" Macbook Pro, iMac G5 20", Apple Extreme Wireless, iPhone, iPod Shuffle, and have purchased over 50 macbooks for my company and clients.
After Apple graciously offered a $100 credit to early iPhone owners, this is a most grievous error on Apple's part, and my confidence in their business has been seriously shaken.
I would like for Apple to do the following:
1. Offer me an ability to use my phone on AT&T per my purchasing of the phone
* Whether this involves fixing, replacing, my phone I do not care; I understand if they do not want to issue me a new phone, I am perfectly happy with my scratched model
2. Please explain to me why their firmware caused my perfectly working phone to become inoperable. After discovering that there would be a possibility phones would become inoperable (Sept. 24th announcement), Apple should have considered a plan allowing users to undo this inoperable change.
3. Explain to me why the iPhone is not able to be unlocked; According to a recent federal law, after 90 days, the carrier must unlock all handsets, does this action by Apple fly counter to this law?
I respectfully await a response. I was very happy with the service received by John, however, Scott and James were very unhelpful, and basically told me I have no recourse after spending $536 on a phone, which was made inoperable by the very software released by Apple.
