Installed premiere 12 and cannot get past sign in

I install premiere 12 and cannot get past the sign in stage.  When I sign in it takes me back to "new project" and nothing happens.

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 running on?
Please try the following 12 solutions and then let us know if any of them worked for you.

Have you gone through the usual drill questions
1. Does the problem exist with or without the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?
2. Are you running the program as Administrator?
3. Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer along with Premiere Elements 12?
4. Are you using a pen and tablet device instead of a mouse?
5. Is your video card/graphics card up to date according to the web site of the manufacturer of the card?
Have you done any uninstall/reinstall of the program yet? If not, hold off doing that until you evaluate the above.
And, when you  uninstall/reinstall, please use the scheme
a. uninstall the usual Control Panel way
b. do a free ccleaner run through (regular and registry parts)

c. reinstall with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled.

    Hi! This seems to bee a common problem (i. e. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4094417?tstart=0) and i have it as well. As usual you can't get help here but a lot of inspiration
    I recommend to upgrade the firmware using a LAN-connection and try it again. If it's stable keep it that way, if not return it to the store and get a new one.
    Before of course make sure there is none of the following settings in your router:
    - MAC Adress based filtering allowing only specific clients to connect (unlikely)
    - no hidden SSID (wifi's name) (unlikely)
    - DHCP turned on. If not, your ATV has to have a fixed IP Adress (unlikely)
    - Password and Encryption mechanism is correct
    It's 90% the devices fault in my opinion.

    I can turn on my ipad but only the apple sign will appear.  the secreen is black with only the apple sign showing.  I push the start buttron on and off and it will not do anything but show the apple icon. I also pudsh to top right hand button and hold the button for 5 second and it will not do anything.  This has never happened to me before.  It is fully charged.  Can someone tell help get past this and tell me how to reset?  I do not know what operating system i have.

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
    How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer                            
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • Strange error when trying to sync video and cannot get past HELP!

    My Ipod (and I have another one as well, a photo that works just fine with everything) will simply not sync all the way. It works until it encounters an error, and then quits. This ipod, a 60 gig video does this as well as another ipod I have, a 30 gig video. Yes I have 3 ipods, its crazy.
    It happends EVERY time it gets to 30 days, Immigaration. I have tried not syncing it but it still happens again later, some of the videos will download though.

    I can't recall ever seeing an error -93. These are two of the most common.
    Error -36, disk cannot be read from or written to error syncing iPod in iTunes.
    iTunes displays error 69 when syncing iPod.

  • Help bought a used imac and cannot get past the passwords.

    The support tech said that I could probably get assistance from someone here. I bought the computer from the goodwill two days ago and it is password protected with two user names. Ever time I turn on the computer it goes to choose user and enter password. I don't know how to get beyond this point and the support tech said that since the computer is a 2000 model and passed the warrinty period It would cost me $49.00. I don't have the money for this, that is the reason I went and bought a used computer. So if you could help me out that would be greatly appreciated.     You must first find exactly what type of computer you own, running which OS.
    If your Mac is a 2000 model, your original install CDs should be Mac OS 8.6 or Mac OS 9.0.4.
    It's possible though, that you have a version of Mac OS X installed.
    You'll find a better help in the iMac G3 or the PowerMac G4 forums.

  • Just updated to iOS 5.0.1 and cannot get past log in in set up. Help!

    The setup wouldn't accept my mobile me password and when I tried the apple id that I use for everything else (iTunes, my iMac, ect) it says that the information is incorrect.  I tried several times to have it send the password reset to my email, but I still haven't received the email to reset it.  I also tried the security questions and couldn't get passed the date of birth which I know I entered in correctly.  I need my phone to work so any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Solved the problem.  Had to go into reset password from my iMac and it processed correctly.  Thank you anyway!

    Have HP Pavilion S3700y about 2 yrs old.  Was shut down correctly last night, went to sign onto the computer and cannot get past the HP Invert screen.  Rebooted and pressed F8, nothing,Rebooted and tried F10 for Bios... nothing... just the HP screen.  Ideas?

    We have had a number of demo devices that have been sold by some stores and these will not set up a HP webOS account due to the serial number. I was checking to see if you had one of these devices; but you serial number is for a 32G consumer device and should set up properly.
    The webOS doctor does wipe the partition that the ROM is on, but not the partition that any data is stored. Was this device new in a sealed box, or an open box?
    You could try a full erase by holding the power button, the volume down button, and the center button simultaneously for 5 seconds. This should initiate a full erase of this device.

    Try resetting the PMU/SMU and PRAM/NVRAM. You'd need to identify the mode of resetting depending on the model of your G5 iMac. The Apple support sites that would help you for this are –

    The system on the original install dic is probably looking for the original video card.
    It may be possible for someone with the right skills to make an install disc for you with the driver for your new card.
    As I recall from my early days of being a Macuser, If you held down a key, (spacebar?), while starting it would open a dialog to take you through a monitor setup.
