Installed screensavers wont work

hello everyone again. im running kdemod on arch 32bit and im experimenting with this kde that ive never used before... im an old gnome user just trying something new.... well ive installed some new screensavers " pacman -S rss-glx" and they show in my control panel for the screensaver but i cant test them and they dont show anything when i wait for the screensaver to pop up.... any suggestions?

Just a silly thought. Make sure that you have Screen Power Management enabled and then each of the subfields for blanking the screen, spinning down the disk etc. disabled. If not, I find that the screen saver never runs - instead the screen just blanks out. I had set "DPMS" to "False" in xorg.conf, but found that I had to also ENABLE power management in KDE and then DISABLE each of its sub functions in order to get the desired result.
I don't know if this might help you, but I thought I might mention it.

The iTunes set-up goes through the entire process, but when I try to open iTunes, I receive an Error message stating that I need to report it to Microsoft. Again, no problem earlier in the week - problem started yesterday. Any help for me or solution with your issue?

Shockwave is installed, but wont work on Chrome

I installed shockwave (latest version) for Chrome (latest stable build 64-bit) on my imac (10.9.5 Maverick) and it wont work
I reinstalled, troubleshooted,checked plugins, but it wouldn't work, though it worked perfectly on Safari
I will not change my browser from Chrome, but i will update to unstable version, downgrade, get Chromium or get 32-bit.

Quicktime 7.1.3 wont install, iTunes wont work.

When ever I start iTunes,first of all it never opens up but a error comes up saying....
"QuickTime version 7.0d0 is installed, iTunes requires QuickTime Version 7.1.3 or later.
Please Reinstall iTunes"
So I reinstall iTunes, I have done this about 4 times.I have also removed iTunes and reinstalled it completly but it seems like Quicktime is not updating with it. Is there older Quicktime folder that I need to get rid of or something?

Install itunes wont work

I have been trying to install the new version of itunes for 2-days now. I had to uninstall the previous versions because of another issue. I have uninstalled all instances of itunes and quicktime and have downloaded the new version.
When I try to run the exe file nothing happens. is there a solution for this?

Just installed office, wont work

I just installed office home and student 2013 on my windows 8 computer. I try to open word or excel and immediately after opening a message pops up reading "a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. windows will close the program
and notify you if a solution is available". I uninstalled office with the help of Microsoft fix. I installed it again, and same issues. Whats going on?

Perhaps look at removing 3 party apps with add-ons to office that might cause it to give you that error.

Have Windows Vista and Internet Explorer 9, the 32 bit version. Have installed Flash Player, uninstall, restarted my laptop and installed again but can't get it to work. It shows up as being installed but when ever I try to view anything that uses Flash Player I'm prompted to install it.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest flash player about four times, checked all the solutions I could find and set up IE as indicated on this thread, have been informed by adobe that flash player is installed and whenever I go to a website that would use it, it doesn't work. I am usually informed I should install it.
The check regarding the spinning red symbol did not give me the required picture (not sure what I should have seen but nothing was spinning)

Downloaded and Installed but wont work?? Help

So everything is downloaded and installed properly but my macbookpro is telling me "You can't open the application Adobe Photoshop CS6 because it is not supported on this type of Mac."
Any idea why?

What processor are you using? You can find this information by going under the Apple Menu and select About this Mac.

Installed apps wont work

My apps icons have appeared on my screen but they don't work when I tap them, the screen just reverts to its orginal state.

Try a Reset, hold together Home and Power buttons for about 15 seconds, iPhone will turn off by self and then restart. Try an App then. If still do not work, click on App Store app, buy a free app, choose a nice free game. After it is done loading the new app, try your apps again to see if they work.

10.6 snow leopard installment disk wont work

i recently got a second hand 2006 mac book, and i got it with the snowleopard 10.6 installment disk, and i get to the part where i have to restart my computer and it is still showing the apple logo and won't turn back on to the desktop. it's been like this for almost 24 hours.

The new itunes update will not install properly and now itunes wont work at all

k, so I tried installing the new update for itunes and now it wont work at all. it says that the mobile device isnt installed. i have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes 4 times now.

Yes I'm aware of that. The procedures are also for trying in cases where iTunes can't be reinstalled due to a "Could not start Apple Mobile Device service" message.
If you're getting a different error message relating to the Apple Mobile Device Service (or Apple Mobile Device Support) when you try to reinstall iTunes, post back to let us know what that error message says. (Precise text, please.)
