Installed themes cannot be remove

Hi,
I am using N95 8GB. Installed some themes and found out that some of the themes installed do not appear under APPLICATION MANAGER, so this means I can't remove it from the phone.
Sometimes reinstallation of the same theme will solve the issue where it will appear in the APPLICATION MANAGER. But this does not work all the time cause there is still themes (after reinstall) do not appear in APPLICATION MANAGER.
Is there any solution out there to actually remove these themes?
Thank you.

If you don't want to format it, there still a way. Get hold of a 3rd party file browser(some are freeware) & manualy delete the offending theme. Some themes also are not properly writen that even if you've successfully uninstall it, still traces of some of its files lurk inside, & it consume precious memory.Message Edited by android on 04-Dec-200702:15 PM

    (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
    (2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    (5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

I am trying to print from iphoto to my printer.  When I click print on under File tab it says that a theme cannot be found and that a theme needs to be intalled?  Why is this window popping up and how I install a "theme" on iphoto?

    To re-install iPhoto
    1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5:  Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows:  In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
    /var/db/receipts/
    2c: on 10.7 they're at
    /private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
    3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store or have a Recent Mac you can find it in your Purchases List.

  • Cannot install itunes, because previous version cannot be removed.

I just removed Itunes (not sure the version) because I kept getting a message that I was unable to burn or copy any cd's and would be required to re-install Itunes. Now I try and download Itunes newest version and I receive a message that says Previous version of Itunes cannot be removed, please contact system administrator. I usually run my Ipod Shuffle and my daughter's Ipod touch. Now, I can't run either of them. Can anyone give me a suggestion that works. I tried removing Itunes and related programs as per Apple's support instructions.

the message says unable to remove and to locate the source of AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi.
Unfortunately, these sorts of msi-related troubles have gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any *Apple Software Update* entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try reinstalling iTunes again. Does the install go through properly now?
(If you do find a clean download site for the correct version of CleanUp, please don't tell me where it is. Without wishing to sound paranoid (although I grant it does sound paranoid), there is a non-zero chance that posting links to download locations for the utility here at Discussions leads to that download location being shut down.)

One question often asked: Will I lose my Photos if I reinstall?
iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always.

We don't know what Apple plans on doing to change this (and it may not be just Apple but more likely the publishers, since Apple would, of course, do whatever it could to maximize sales/profits).  Right now you can only read Apple books on mobile devices. Sure, buy them from Amazon if you want to read them on the computer. We don't work for Apple so we're pretty impartial on this kind of advice.
You might also see what your library can offer.  My wife can browse the county library from her iPhone, borrow e-versions, and read books on it too.  Free!

  • I cannot install the latest iTunes because Bonjour cannot be removed?

I've recently got a new iPod touch and I am having problems with downloading the latest iTunes. I go to click download, enter my details etc, and when it starts to download half way through a message box pops up saying 'The old version of Bonjour cannot be removed. Photoshop CC

    Hi,
Have you ever uninstalled Photoshop CC and installed Photoshop CC 2014, or uninstalled Photoshop CC 2014 then installed Photoshop CC?
If that, please re-install you uninstalled Photoshop, and remove GuideGuide from Extension Manager before uninstall.
Another option is remove extension manager database file, then launch Extension Manager to install it.
    C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Extension Manager CC\Configuration\DB\ExMan.db (Windows)
    /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CC/Configuration/DB/ExMan.db (MAC)
But please notice that all your previously installed extensions will not be shown in Extension Manager after you removed database file.
