Installed Trial Version and now Dreamweaver is Screwed Up

I use Dreamweaver to design and update our website, but I
want others to be able to help maintain it as well, so I installed
the trial version of Contribute to see how it worked before I
purchased it. Now when I go back to editing with Dreamweaver, I
have error messages that weren't there before and things that no
longer work like they did pre-Contribute. For example: everytime I
open a page, I get an error...
"The following translators were not loaded due to errors:
ASP.NET.htm has configuration information that is invalid. Date.htm
has configuration information that is invalid. JSP.htm ASP.NET.htm
has configuration information that is invalid. Spry.htm ASP.NET.htm
has configuration information that is invalid. XSLT.htm ASP.NET.htm
has configuration information that is invalid."
Also, the insert email link button gives me an error now:
"While executing onLoad in E-Mail Link.htm, the following
JavaScript error(s) occurred: In file E-Main Link: ReferenceError:
initUI is not defined"
Also, when I hit Command + S to save an html page, then close
it, it asks me do I want to save changes.
There are so many quirks now that I either need to know how
to UNDO everything to get it back to the way it was before
installing Contribute. Or how to fix the issues that I am having.

I recreated the dreamweaver user configuration folder
following the instructions in the above link.

    I have installed the .10 version and now i cant see any Video on youtube. And it does not play any sound. It not opens anything with flash player.
    I deinstalled and rebootet the player. I installed the new version again. 10 times....

    I had the trial version and hit Buy , than I hit full version, after downlaod it did not put on a new icon and when I hit what I hit to open the trial it will not open for me to put the serial # given after the download, I also still have the version 7 Icon still working I thought it took it Off at install .     After downloading the software you need to install it.
    Please run the downloaded executable .exe file to begin the installation.

    If you have used your operating system procedure for uninstalling the application it will not interfere with your Catalog, Preferences and personal files.
    Download the latest version if you have a LR 5 license key, from the link below.
    Product updates
    This should reinstall LR 5.7 and you should be good to go.
    After the installation shut down the computer and reboot.

  • Downloaded RH 9 trial version and now Acrobat has disappeared

    Hi all,
    I have had Adobe Acrobat installed for years and use it all the time.  Have also had RH X5 installed on the same PC all along.  I downloaded the trial version of RH 9  and now find that all the icons for PDFs have changed to the icon you see when there's no application associated to the file.  And if I try to open a PDF I get a message telling me the file can't be opened unless I have the application installed.  And when I look in my program files in Windows Explorer, there is not longer an Acrobat folder.  Is it possible that the download of RH 9 somehow wiped out my Acrobat?  I have the Acrobat CD so could reinstall, but am hesitant until I understand what the problem might be.
    Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    I think you are going to need to take this one up with Adobe.
    As I said much earlier in the thread, my thinking was that RoboHelp installed it's own lite version and that had somehow clobbered the full version. That said, it is not what I would expect, simply a thought as to what might have happened.
    Also it is worth noting that this is the only thread I have seen about this problem.
    When you installed Rh, did you elect to customise the installation and then deselect the installation of the lite version of Acrobat? If not, may that is what has caused this. I run several machines with Acrobat and installing Rh has never clobbered Acrobat.
    Now that you have lost Acrobat I think you will need to also uninstall Rh, reinstall Acrobat and then install Rh as above.
    If you need to come back here, knowing the version might help.

    I installed the new version of itunes and every time I try and open itunes as its accessing the itunes store, I get an error message telling me
    " I tunes has encountered a problem and needs to close". I can not open itunes at all anymore ever since the update...please someone help!!!

    Taken at face value, you've got trouble with an Apple Application Support program file. (iTunes requires a properly functioning Apple Application Support in order to work correctly.) So for that one you'll need to uninstall both iTunes and Apple Application Support and then reinstall iTunes (which normally would reinstall AAS).
    I also like to take a few other explicit precautions along the way (just in case). See the following post for instructions:

    (Although those instructions are for a 32-bit Vista, they're pretty much identical for XP. Just read "Uninstall a program control panel" as "Add or Remove Programs control panel" and "Computer" as "My Computer".)

    You have enabled print to file in your printer driver. Nothing to do with Reader at all.

    There are two different LR’s, one with a serial-number licensing and one with a CC-signin license.
    You should uninstall the serial-number LR you have installed, then
    Quit the CC Desktop application,
    Restart the CC Desktop application—this will rescan what you have installed and not see LR,
    LR will now be on the CC Desktiop apps list, so install that.

    Thank you doesn't say it strongly enough, but THANK YOU b noir and Lorraine for your help. I was to the boiling point last night and starting to get there tonight. Now I am resting easy and thankful that there is a community of computer users out there who care enough to troubleshoot problems together and work together to figure out a solution--and then to take the time to post and share information.
    I would STRONGLY suggest that anyone who is having the iTunes issues where iTunes just plain won't open at all after downloading the newest version and has a pc with Norton Internet Security 2005 try the "Lorraine Method."
    I am so happy I think I might sing. Or not--I will let my songs on iTunes do the singing for me now that I can again!!!!!!!
    And to those still looking for answers--be patient--I now know how incredibly frustrating this can be and I hope that you all find your solutions very very soon!!
