    Thank you for replying. On the second try, I accepted and messages started coming up concerning my acceptance. I attempted to keep "accepting", when the message started flashing and then froze Foxfire. It took several attempts to quit Foxfire. I don't remember the specific messages. I haven't attempted it again and really need to get this trial copy downloaded.

    I downloaded creative cloud and try to install trial version of Illustrator
    on PC Window 8.1. However it always show"install failure". I have try to

    I am trying to install trial version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 13, I have downloaded it several times, I have the software specified in list for requirements needed, I have 693 GB of free space, have administration writes, but each time at the end of installation I get the following message. ' A problem occurred while extracting some files. Check available space on your computer and the write privileges on the destination folder, which is Desktop. What could be my problem?

    Creative Suite 4 is a single platform license: Mac only (in your case) or Windows only.
    You must either
    purchase a new full version of CS6 for Windows, or
    purchase a "Crossgrade" from CS4 Mac to CS6 Windows, or
    join the Creative Cloud

All other programs work, but with Photoshop it says that it "Could not open a scratch file because the file is locked, you do not have necessary access permissions, or another program is using the file. Use the 'Properties' command in the Windows Explorer to unlock the file." Then I select "OK" and the next message comes up "Could not initialize Photoshop because the file is locked, you do not have the necessary permissions, or another program is using the file. Use the 'Properties' command in the Windows Explorer to unlock this file. I installed all of the programs on the same day from a CD. I need this fixed immediately.
    I am not interested in switching to Creative Cloud, so don't even suggest it. I spoke to Mashmi (or something to that effect) on the "Support" Chat and there was absolutely no support. Useless actually.

    I went into the PC settings and tried to change the display resolution. This changes the size of all  the icons (not only Adobe) but it does not solve the problem when I open an Adobe application (Photoshop or Illustrator)... The PC is run under Windows 8.1 and my display resolution is 3200x1800 (but again, when I change the settings for a smaller resolution, only the size of the icons is affected. Once I open the software, the problem is still there, extra-small toolbars...). Help!!!

    Anything before CC is not high-DPI compatible. Feel free to continue to experiment with your system settings.

    What are you trying to achieve?  Are you editing movies as a hobby? Or trying to build a business – and, if so, what kind?
    iMovie is the first thing that comes to mind. Not the depth of FCPX, but it can still do some excellent work.

    I've problem re-install my Creative Suite 6 Master Collection for almost all applications. Installation was idle/stop when installing AdobeHelp, I've already tried to let the installation process ran for almost 24 hours, but it's still idle, so I cancelled the installation.
    I've tried several times, and the result is still the same. It's idle when installing Adobehelp
    And there is no feature/option in the installation menu to not installed Adobehelp.
    Before re-install, I've used AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool, because I can't installed adobe illustration that I've not installed yet before and the installation crashed.
    So I follow the instruction till I get suggestion to download AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool. and I ran it and choose all cleaning.
    Now I still have problem to re-install my Adobe Creative Suite Master Collection.

    System information:
    Laptop Dell Vostro 14", Intel Pentium i5, Ram 4GB
    OS Windows 7 Home Basic
    Is that enough? do you need more information?

    YOu are long past any upgrade cycles and need to buy a new CS6 license at full price or sign up for Creative Cloud.

    1. Use a different browser to download
    2. Don't use a download accelerator
    3. Make sure your temporary internet files folder has enough
    extra capacity
    to contain the complete download
