Installed Window 7 on DV6700 but mouse movement not smooth as before
Installed Window 7 on HP DV6700 but mouse movement not as smooth as before. When you move your finger on the touch pad but the pointer does not move along as smooth as it should. Is it because of driver problem? if yes then is there a more suitable driver to use and where can I download it?
When I used it with Window Vista ,there was no problem. Thanks.
One more things, there is no longer the beep sound when you press the sound button to increase or decrease the sound. The buttons on top of the keyboard. Do I need to download another driver?

No one talks about the basic mouse moment? Move the cursor to a location in same screen screen?
Is this same as PC mouse dragging whole device? With dragging the device is pretty hard. I don't expect such thing from Apple. I seriously feel something wrong with the way I am doing, or with the device itself? How importantan is mouse pad? I am on a stable wooden desk.

I can definitely understand your concern. Using the Magic Mouse to “track” on the screen is the same, you’ll move the entire device around your surface. The mouse can be used on most smooth surfaces, however if you are experiencing tracking issues try these options:
Mouse does not track as expected (jittery, jumpy, slow, fast).
- Choose System Preferences from the Apple () menu, then choose Mouse from the View menu. Set the Tracking slider to adjust how fast the pointer moves as you move the mouse.
- Try using a different surface to see if the tracking improves.
- Turn the mouse over and inspect the sensor window. Use compressed air to gently clean the sensor window if dust or debris is present.
- If multiple Bluetooth wireless devices are in use nearby, try turning them off one at a time to see if the issue improves. Bandwidth intensive devices could affect tracking.

Hello Guys I need help it is Urgent to I can not get no where with the tech Support they are not willing to help me unless I pay Money to do so Apple is not a good product when u can not pay to have them Help me I am trying to get Boot Camp set up so i can set up Window 7, I have the updated Verison of Boot Camp which is 4.0 everytime i try and get Boot Camp Assistant to work at one point of the Installation it asked to highlight 0.4 Boot Camp which I did and when I clicked ok It un did Boot Camp so I have windows on here but I can not get to Drivers over to Windows without Boot Camp and I can not get the connection on the Window Side please can Someone please Call and help me my Number is xxxxxxxxxxxplease this is Urgent matter thanks Michelle

Which operating system are you running? It might still be running in the background. You may want to check your Task Manager or Activity Monitor. Or better yet, if you feel uncomfortable with that, try logging out of your user account, then back in. That might kill any stray processes.

Most of the songs on my iPod Classic no longer show up on iTunes on my laptop. I deleted iTunes & installed the latest version but this did not change anything. For example on 1 playlist I have 66 songs but only 1 shows on the iTunes screen. Thanks you for any help.

By the way, you can also install the Service Pack 1 in

you and I know that your answer works because that is how I sync my ipad. I don't have a mac, just a PC with itunes. Now this guy might not even have itunes and is using Windows Media Player or something like that.
Or maybe he just do not want his problem fixed. I read these forums and too many of the questions are just way beyond basic computer knowledge, but it seems to happen that they can never resolve a very simple problem. It makes me wonder if people just post bogus stuff.
I would like to see registration to the forums attached to the product serial number of the forum you are posting to. I bet you that the posts would drop dramatically. -

I have an iMac that I am running OSX 10.8.3 on. I keep trying to install 10.8.4 but it will not install. I tried updating and installing several times and it restarts the computer but it will not install the software. My machine is about 8 months old so, it's in the newish range. HELP!
